because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before God when you heard his words against this place and against its inhabitants, and have humbled yourself before me, and have torn your clothes and wept before me, I also have heard you,” says the LORD.

| مِنْ أَجْلِ أَنَّهُ قَدْ رَقَّ قَلْبُكَ، وَتَوَاضَعْتَ أَمَامَ ٱللهِ حِينَ سَمِعْتَ كَلَامَهُ عَلَى هَذَا ٱلْمَوْضِعِ وَعَلَى سُكَّانِهِ، وَتَوَاضَعْتَ أَمَامِي وَمَزَّقْتَ ثِيَابَكَ وَبَكَيْتَ أَمَامِي يَقُولُ ٱلرَّبُّ، قَدْ سَمِعْتُ أَنَا أَيْضًا. |
| مِنْ حَيْثُ أَنَّ قَلْبَكَ قَدْ رَقَّ، وَتَذَلَّلْتَ أَمَامَ اللهِ لَدَى سَمَاعِكَ مَا قَضَتْ بِهِ الشَّرِيعَةُ عَلَى هَذَا الْمَوْضِعِ وَعَلَى أَهْلِهِ، وَتَوَاضَعْتَ أَمَامِي وَمَزَّقْتَ ثِيَابَكَ وَبَكَيْتَ فِي حَضْرَتِي، فَإِنَّنِي قَدِ اسْتَجَبْتُ لَكَ أَنَا أَيْضاً، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ. |

কারণ এই জায়গা ও সেখানে বসবাসকারী লোকদের বিরুদ্ধে আমি যা বলেছি তা শুনে তোমার হৃদয় তাতে উত্তর দিয়েছে এবং আমার সামনে তুমি নিজেকে নত করেছ ও তোমার পোশাক ছিঁড়ে আমার কাছে কান্নাকাটি করেছ। তুমি এই সব করেছ বলে আমি সদাপ্রভু তোমার প্রার্থনা শুনেছি। এই হল সদাপ্রভুর ঘোষণা।
যেহেতু তোমার অন্তর সংবেদনশীল ও ঈশ্বর যখন এই স্থানটির ও এখানকার লোকজনের বিরুদ্ধে কথা বললেন, তখন সেকথা শুনে তুমি ঈশ্বরের সামনে নিজেকে নত করলে, এবং যেহেতু তুমি আমার সামনে নিজেকে নত করলে ও তোমার পোশাক ছিঁড়ে ফেলেছিলে ও আমার সামনে কেঁদেছিলে, তাই আমি তোমার কথা শুনেছি, সদাপ্রভু একথাই ঘোষণা করে দিয়েছেন।

就是听见我指着这地和其上居民所说的话，你便心里敬服，在我面前自卑，撕裂衣服，向我哭泣，因此我应允了你。这是我—耶和华说的。

Parce que ton cœur s'est amolli, et que tu t'es humilié devant Dieu, quand tu as entendu ces paroles contre ce lieu-ci, et contre ses habitants, et que t'étant humilié devant moi, tu as déchiré tes vêtements, et as pleuré devant moi, je t'ai aussi exaucé, dit l'Eternel.
Que ton cœur a été attendri, que tu t’es humilié en la présence de Dieu, au sujet de ce qui a été dit contre ce lieu et les habitants de Jérusalem, que tu as révéré ma face, déchiré tes vêtements, et pleuré devant moi, moi aussi je t’ai exaucé, dit le Seigneur.

ഈ സ്ഥലത്തിനും ഇതിലെ നിവാസികൾക്കും എതിരായി യഹോവ കൽപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതെന്തെന്നു കേട്ടപ്പോൾ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം അനുതപിക്കുകയും നീ തന്നത്താൻ ദൈവമുമ്പാകെ വിനയപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. നീ എന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വിനയപ്പെട്ട് വസ്ത്രംകീറി വിലപിച്ചതിനാൽ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
