The porch that was in front, its length, across the width of the house, was twenty cubits, and the height one hundred twenty; and he overlaid it within with pure gold.

| وَكَانَ طُولُ الرُّوَاقِ الْقَائِمِ أَمَامَ الْهَيْكَلِ عِشْرِينَ ذِرَاعاً (نَحْوَ عَشَرَةِ أَمْتَارٍ) مُعَادِلاً لِعَرْضِ الْهَيْكَلِ، وَارْتِفَاعُهُ مِئَةً وَعِشْرِينَ ذِرَاعاً (نَحْوَ سِتِّينَ مِتْراً)، وَقَدْ غَشَّاهُ مِنَ الدَّاخِلِ بِالذَّهَبِ النَّقِيِّ. |

भवन के सामने के ओसारे की लम्बाई तो भवन की चौड़ाई के बराबर बीस हाथ की; और उसकी ऊँचाई एक सौ बीस हाथ की थी। सुलैमान ने उसको भीतर से शुद्ध सोने से मढ़वाया।
भवन के सामने का ओसारा उतना ही लंबा था जितनी उसकी चौड़ाई थी और उसकी ऊंचाई चौवन मीटर थी. शलोमोन ने इसके अंदर के भाग को शुद्ध सोने से मढ़ दिया.
