2-Chronicles 24:25
When they had departed from him (for they left him seriously wounded), his own servants conspired against him for the blood of the sons of Jehoiada the priest, and killed him on his bed, and he died. They buried him in David’s city, but they did not bury him in the tombs of the kings.

| وَعِنْدَمَا انْسَحَبَ جَيْشُ الأَرَامِيِّينَ كَانَ يُوآشُ يُعَانِي مِمَّا تَكَبَّدَهُ مِنْ جِرَاحٍ فِي الْقِتَالِ، فَتَآمَرَ عَلَيْهِ ضَابِطَانِ مِنْ رِجَالِهِ ثَأْراً لِدِمَاءِ ابْنِ يَهُويَادَاعَ الْكَاهِنِ، وَقَتَلاَهُ عَلَى سَرِيرِهِ، فَدَفَنُوهُ فِي مَدِينَةِ دَاوُدَ، وَلَكِنْ لَيْسَ فِي مَقَابِرِ الْمُلُوكِ. |

Before the battle ended, Joash was severely wounded. Then his officials decided to kill him for murdering Zechariah, the son of Jehoiada the [Supreme] Priest. They killed him while he was in his bed. He was buried in [the part of Jerusalem called] ‘The City of David’, but they did not bury him in the place where the other kings had been buried.

Et, s’en allant, ils le laissèrent dans de grandes langueurs; ses serviteurs mêmes s’élevèrent contre lui pour venger le sang du fils de Joïada, le prêtre, et ils le tuèrent dans son lit: on l’ensevelit dans la cité de David, mais non dans le tombeau des rois.
