जब अहज्याह की माता अतल्याह ने देखा कि मेरा पुत्र मर गया, तब उसने उठकर यहूदा के घराने के सारे राजवंश को नाश किया।
जब अहज़्याह की माता को मालूम हुआ कि उसके पुत्र की मृत्यु हो चुकी है, उसने जाकर सारे यहूदिया राजपरिवार को नाश कर दिया.

아하시야의 모친 아달랴가 그 아들의 죽은 것을 보고 일어나 유다 집의 왕의 씨를 진멸하였으나
마레사 사람 도다와후의 아들 엘리에셀이 여호사밧을 향하여 예언하여 가로되 '왕이 아하시야와 교제하는고로 여호와께서 왕의 지은 것을 파하시리라' 하더니 이에 그 배가 파상하여 다시스로 가지 못하였더라

തന്റെ മകൻ മരിച്ചു എന്ന് അഹസ്യാവിന്റെ അമ്മയായ അഥല്യാ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, അവൾ യെഹൂദ്യയിലെ രാജകുടുംബത്തെ മുഴുവൻ നശിപ്പിക്കാൻ തുനിഞ്ഞിറങ്ങി.
