2-Chronicles 12:5
Now Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and to the princes of Judah, who were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said to them, “The LORD says, ‘You have forsaken me, therefore I have also left you in the hand of Shishak.’”

| فَجَاءَ شَمْعِيَا النَّبِيُّ إِلَى رَحُبْعَامَ وَرُؤَسَاءِ يَهُوذَا الَّذِينَ تَجَمَّعُوا فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ هَرَباً مِنْ وَجْهِ شِيشَقَ وَخَاطَبَهُمْ: «هَذَا مَا يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ: أَنْتُمْ تَخَلَّيْتُمْ عَنِّي، وَأَنَا أَيْضاً أَتَخَلَّى عَنْكُمْ وَأُسَلِّمُكُمْ لِيَدِ شِيشَقَ». |
সেই সময়ত চময়িয়া ভাববাদীয়ে ৰহবিয়ামৰ ওচৰলৈ আৰু চীচকৰ ভয়ত যিৰূচালেমত গোট খোৱা যিহূদাৰ অধ্যক্ষসকলৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল আৰু তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: ‘তোমালোকে মোক ত্যাগ কৰিলা, এই কাৰণে ময়ো তোমালোকক ত্যাগ কৰি চীচকৰ হাতত দিলোঁ’৷”

তখন ভাববাদী শময়িয়, শীশকের ভয়ে জেরুশালেমে একত্রিত হওয়া রহবিয়াম ও যিহূদার নেতাদের কাছে এসে তাদের বললেন, “সদাপ্রভু একথাই বলেন, ‘তোমরা আমাকে পরিত্যাগ করেছ; তাই, আমি এখন শীশকের হাতে তোমাদের ছেড়ে দিলাম।’”

Then the prophet Shemaiah came to Rehoboam and the other leaders of Judah who had gathered in Jerusalem because they were afraid of [the army of] Shishak. Shemaiah said to them, “Yahweh says this: ‘You have abandoned me; so now I am abandoning you, to [allow you to be captured by the army of] Shishak.’”
Now Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and to the leaders of Judah who had gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak. Shemaiah said to them, “This is what Yahweh says: You have forsaken me, so I have also given you over into Shishak's hand.”

Or Séméias, le prophète, vint trouver le roi Roboam et les princes de Juda, qui s’étaient réunis à Jérusalem, fuyant Sésac, et il leur dit: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur: Vous, vous m’avez abandonné, et moi, je vous ai abandonnés à la main de Sésac.
Alors Schemaeja, le prophète, se rendit auprès de Roboam et des chefs de Juda qui s’étaient retirés dans Jérusalem à l’approche de Schischak, et il leur dit: Ainsi parle l’Éternel: Vous m’avez abandonné; je vous abandonne aussi, et je vous livre entre les mains de Schischak.
