1-Kings 9:8
Though this house is so high, yet everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss; and they will say, ‘Why has the LORD done this to this land and to this house?’
Dhe ky tempull, megjithëse kaq i madhërishëm, do të jetë një vend i shkretë; kushdo që do t’i kalojë afër do të mbetet i habitur dhe do të fërshëllejë, dhe ka për të thënë: “Pse Zoti e ka trajtuar kështu këtë vend dhe këtë tempull?”.
| وَهَذَا ٱلْبَيْتُ يَكُونُ عِبْرَةً. كُلُّ مَنْ يَمُرُّ عَلَيْهِ يَتَعَجَّبُ وَيَصْفِرُ، وَيَقُولُونَ: لِمَاذَا عَمِلَ ٱلرَّبُّ هَكَذَا لِهَذِهِ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلِهَذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ؟ |
| وَيُصْبِحُ هَذَا الْهَيْكَلُ عِبْرَةً يُثِيرُ عَجَبَ كُلِّ مَنْ يَمُرُّ بِهِ، فَيَصْفُرُ وَيَتَسَاءَلُ: لِمَاذَا صَنَعَ الرَّبُّ هَكَذَا بِهَذِهِ الأَرْضِ وَبِهَذَا الْهَيْكَلِ؟ |
আৰু যিহেতু এতিয়া এই মন্দিৰ ইমান মহৎ, যিসকলে ইয়াৰ কাষেদি যাব, তেওঁলোকে আচৰিত মানিব আৰু ফোঁচফোঁচাব৷ তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে সুধিব, ‘এই দেশ আৰু এই গৃহলৈ যিহোৱাই কিয় এইৰূপে কাৰ্য কৰিলে?’

এই উপাসনা ঘরটি এখন মহান হলেও তখন যারা তার মন্দিরের পাশ দিয়ে যাবে তারা চমকে উঠবে এবং ঠাট্টা করে বলবে, ‘কেন সদাপ্রভু এই দেশ ও এই উপাসনা ঘরটির প্রতি এই রকম করলেন?’
এই মন্দিরটি ভাঙা ইটপাথরের এক স্তূপে পরিণত হবে। যারা যারা তখন এখান দিয়ে যাবে, তারা সবাই মর্মাহত হবে, টিটকিরি করবে ও বলবে, ‘সদাপ্রভু কেন এই দেশের ও এই মন্দিরটির প্রতি এমনটি করলেন?’

这殿虽然甚高，将来经过的人必惊讶、嗤笑，说：‘耶和华为何向这地和这殿如此行呢？’

And though this house is so high, yet shall every man who passes by it be astonished, and shall hiss. And they shall say, Why has Jehovah done thus to this land, and to this house?

Ce temple si haut sera en un tel état, que le passant, frappé de stupeur, sifflera et dira: Pourquoi donc le Seigneur a-t-il ainsi traité cette terre et ce temple?
et cette maison placée à un si haut rang ne produira plus, chez tout venant, que stupeur et raillerie; et quand on dira: "Pourquoi le Seigneur a-t-il traité ainsi ce pays et ce temple?"

Und dieses Haus, das erhaben war, - [So nach der Alexandr. Übersetzung. Im hebr. Texte steht: wird erhaben sein. Vergl. 2. Chron. 7,21] jeder, der an demselben vorbeigeht, wird sich entsetzen und zischen. Und man wird sagen: Warum hat Jehova diesem Lande und diesem Hause also getan?

Und über dieses Haus, so hoch es gewesen ist, wird jeder, der da vorübergeht, sich entsetzen und spotten und sagen: Warum hat der HERR diesem Lande und diesem Hause also getan?
Und über diesem Haus, sei es auch das höchste, wird jeder, der vorübergeht, sich entsetzen und zischen und sagen: Warum hat doch Jehovah mit diesem Land und mit diesem Haus solches getan?

અને જો કે આ ભક્તિસ્થાન ઊંચું છે તો પણ જતા આવતા સૌ કોઈ તેને જોઈને આશ્ચર્ય પામીને ઉપહાસ કરશે, ‘ઈશ્વરે આ દેશના અને આ ભક્તિસ્થાનના આવા હાલ શા માટે કર્યા?’

| וְהַבַּ֤יִת הַזֶּה֙ יִהְיֶ֣ה עֶלְי֔וֹן כָּל־עֹבֵ֥ר עָלָ֖יו יִשֹּׁ֣ם וְשָׁרָ֑ק וְאָמְר֗וּ עַל־מֶ֨ה עָשָׂ֤ה יְהוָה֙ כָּ֔כָה לָאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּ֖את וְלַבַּ֥יִת הַזֶּֽה׃ |
और यह भवन जो ऊँचे पर रहेगा, तो जो कोई इसके पास होकर चलेगा, वह चकित होगा, और ताली बजाएगा और वे पूछेंगे, ‘यहोवा ने इस देश और इस भवन के साथ क्यों ऐसा किया है;’
यह भवन खंडहरों का ढेर होकर रह जाएगा. तब हर एक व्यक्ति, जो उनके पास से होकर जाएगा, चकित हो सांस ऊपर खींच यह कह उठेंगे, ‘क्यों उन्होंने याहवेह अपने परमेश्वर को भुला दिया था.
