The king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place. Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.

καὶ ἀνέστη καὶ ἐπορεύθη εἰς Γαβαων θῦσαι ἐκεῖ ὅτι αὐτὴ ὑψηλοτάτη καὶ μεγάλη χιλίαν ὁλοκαύτωσιν ἀνήνεγκεν Σαλωμων ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον ἐν Γαβαων

ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಯಜ್ಞಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಹಸ್ರ ಯಜ್ಞಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
