1-Kings 2:42
The king sent and called for Shimei, and said to him, “Did not I adjure you by the LORD and warn you, saying, ‘Know for certain that on the day you go out and walk anywhere else, you shall surely die’? You said to me, ‘The saying that I have heard is good.’

| فَأَرْسَلَ ٱلْمَلِكُ وَدَعَا شِمْعِيَ وَقَالَ لَهُ: «أَمَا ٱسْتَحْلَفْتُكَ بِٱلرَّبِّ وَأَشْهَدْتُ عَلَيْكَ قَائِلًا: إِنَّكَ يَوْمَ تَخْرُجُ وَتَذْهَبُ إِلَى هُنَا وَهُنَالِكَ، ٱعْلَمَنَّ بِأَنَّكَ مَوْتًا تَمُوتُ؟ فَقُلْتَ لِي: حَسَنٌ ٱلْأَمْرُ. قَدْ سَمِعْتُ. |
| فَاسْتَدْعَاهُ وَقَالَ لَهُ: «أَمَا اسْتَحْلَفْتُكَ بِالرَّبِّ وَأَشْهَدْتُ عَلَيْكَ أَنَّكَ يَوْمَ تُغَادِرُ الْمَدِينَةَ إِلَى أَيِّ مَكَانٍ آخَرَ حَتْماً تَمُوتُ. فَأَجَبْتَنِي: حَسَناً، وَسَمْعاً وَطَاعَةً. |
তেতিয়া ৰজাই মানুহ পঠিয়াই চিমিয়ীক মতাই আনিলে, আৰু তেওঁক ক’লে, “যি দিনা তুমি বাহিৰ ওলাই কোনো ফালে যাবা, সেইদিনা অৱশ্যে তোমাৰ প্ৰাণ যাব, এইদৰে জানো যিহোৱাৰ নামেৰে তোমাক শপত দিয়া হোৱা নাই? আৰু এই বিষয় নিশ্চিতভাৱে জানো তোমাক কোৱা হোৱা নাই? তেতিয়া তুমিও কৈছিলা, ‘মই যি শুনিলোঁ, সেয়ে উত্তম’।

রাজা তখন শিমিয়িকে ডাকিয়ে এনে বললেন, “আমি কি সদাপ্রভুর নামে তোমাকে শপথ করিয়ে সাক্ষ্য দিই নি যে, যেদিন তুমি বেরিয়ে বাইরে দূরে কোথাও যাবে সেই দিন তোমাকে নিশ্চয়ই মরতে হবে? সেই দিন তুমি আমাকে বলেছিলে, যেটা বলেছিলে সেটা ভালো।
রাজামশাই শিমিয়িকে ডেকে পাঠিয়ে তাকে বললেন, “আমি কি সদাপ্রভুর নামে তোমাকে শপথ করাইনি ও সাবধান করে দিইনি, ‘যেদিন তুমি অন্য কোথাও যাওয়ার জন্য পা বাড়াবে, তুমি নিশ্চিত থেকো, তোমাকে মরতেই হবে’? সেসময় তুমি আমাকে বললে, ‘আপনি যা বলেছেন, ভালোই বলেছেন। আমি এর বাধ্য হব।’

Then the king sent for Shimei, and said to him, Did I not make you take an oath by the Lord, protesting to you and saying, Be certain that on the day when you go out from here, wherever you go, death will overtake you? and you said to me, Very well!

And sending, he summoned him, and he said to him: “Did I not testify to you by the Lord, and warn you in advance, ‘On whatever day, having departed, you go forth to here or to there, know that you shall die?’ And you responded to me, ‘The word that I have heard is good.’
And the king sent and called for Shimei, and said to him, Did I not make thee swear by Jehovah, and protest to thee, saying, Know for certain, that on the day thou goest forth, and walkest abroad anywhere, thou shalt surely die? and thou saidst to me, The word that I have heard is good.

And he sent the king and he summoned Shimei and he said to him ¿ not did I make swear you by Yahweh and did I warn? you saying on [the] day going out you and you will go where? and where? certainly you will know that certainly you will die and you said to me [is] good the word I have heard.

So the king sent [a soldier] to summon Shimei and said to him, “I told you to solemnly promise, knowing that Yahweh [MTY] was listening, that you must not leave Jerusalem. I told you [RHQ], ‘Be sure that if you ever leave Jerusalem, you will be executed.’ And you replied [RHQ] to me, ‘What you have said is good; I will do what you have said.’

and the king sendeth and calleth for Shimei, and saith unto him, 'Have I not caused thee to swear by Jehovah — and I testify against thee, saying, In the day of thy going out, and thou hast gone anywhere, thou dost certainly know that thou dost surely die; and thou sayest unto me, The word I have heard [is] good?

Et le Roi envoya appeler Simhi, et lui dit: Ne t'avais-je pas fait jurer par l'Eternel, et ne t'avais-je pas protesté, disant: Sache certainement que le jour que tu seras sorti, et que tu seras allé çà ou là, tu mourras certainement? et ne me répondis-tu pas: La parole que j'ai entendue est bonne?
Et envoyant, il l’appela, et lui dit: Ne t’ai-je pas juré par le Seigneur, et dit par avance: Au jour où, étant sorti, tu iras ici et là, sache que tu mourras? Et tu m’as répondu: Elle est juste la parole que j’ai entendue.
Le roi fit appeler Schimeï, et lui dit: Ne t’avais-je pas fait jurer par l’Éternel, et ne t’avais-je pas fait cette déclaration formelle: Sache bien que tu mourras le jour où tu sortiras pour aller de côté ou d’autre? Et ne m’as-tu pas répondu: C’est bien! J’ai entendu?

Alors le Roi envoya mander Siméï et lui dit: Ne t'ai-je pas assermenté par l'Éternel et adjuré en ces termes: Le jour où tu sortiras d'ici pour aller ça et là, sache-le, tu es mort? Et tu m'as répondu: Bonne parole! j'ai entendu.
Aussitôt, le roi envoya querir Sémeï, et il lui dit: Ne t'ai-je point fait prêter serment par le Seigneur, ne t'ai-je pas attesté, disant: Le jour où tu sortiras de Jérusalem, où tu iras à droite ou à gauche, sache-le bien, tu mourras?

“ನೀನು ಈ ಊರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎಲ್ಲಿಗಾದರೂ ಹೋದರೆ ಅದೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಮರಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡೆನಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆಗ, ‘ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೇಯದು, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಿಯಲ್ಲಾ.

അപ്പോൾ രാജാവ് ആളയച്ച് ശിമെയിയെ വരുത്തി അവനോട്: “നീ പുറത്തിറങ്ങി എവിടെയെങ്കിലും പോകുന്ന നാളിൽ മരിക്കേണ്ടിവരുമെന്ന് തീർച്ചയായി അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾക എന്ന് ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നൽകി, നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ട് യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ സത്യം ചെയ്യിക്കയും, ഞാൻ കേട്ട വാക്ക് നല്ലതെന്ന് നീ എന്നോട് പറകയും ചെയ്തില്ലയോ?
