For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not know God, it was God’s good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching to save those who believe.

لِأَنَّهُ إِذْ كَانَ ٱلْعَالَمُ فِي حِكْمَةِ ٱللهِ لَمْ يَعْرِفِ ٱللهَ بِٱلْحِكْمَةِ، ٱسْتَحْسَنَ ٱللهُ أَنْ يُخَلِّصَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ بِجَهَالَةِ ٱلْكِرَازَةِ.
فَبِمَا أَنَّ الْعَالَمَ، فِي حِكْمَةِ اللهِ، لَمْ يَعْرِفِ اللهَ عَنْ طَرِيقِ الْحِكْمَةِ، فَقَدْ سُرَّ اللهُ أَنْ يُخَلِّصَ بِجَهَالَةِ الْبِشَارَةِ الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ.

কারণ, ঈশ্বরের জ্ঞানে যখন জগত তার নিজের জ্ঞান দিয়ে ঈশ্বরকে জানতে পারে নি, তখন প্রচারের মূর্খতার মাধ্যমে বিশ্বাসকারীদের পাপ থেকে উদ্ধার করতে ঈশ্বরের সুবাসনা হল।
কারণ, যেহেতু ঈশ্বরের জ্ঞান অনুসারে জগৎ তার জ্ঞানে তাঁকে জানতে পারেনি, তাই যা প্রচারিত হয়েছিল সেই মূর্খতার মাধ্যমে যারা বিশ্বাস করে ঈশ্বর তাদের পরিত্রাণ দিতে প্রীত হলেন।

मैं ऐसा इस तांई बोलदा है क्योंकि परमेश्वरे समझदारिया ला ऐ फेसला लिया की इस संसारे दे लोक अपणी काबलियता ला उसयो नी जाणी सकदे न, इस तांई परमेश्वर उना जो बचादां जड़े शुभसमाचार पर भरोसा करदे न जिदा असां प्रचार करदे न, चाहे कोई भरोसा नी करणे बाला बोले की ऐ मुर्खता दियां गल्लां न।

世人凭自己的智慧,既不认识 神, 神就乐意用人所当作愚拙的道理拯救那些信的人;这就是 神的智慧了。
