Some Gadites joined David in the stronghold in the wilderness, mighty men of valor, men trained for war, who could handle shield and spear; whose faces were like the faces of lions, and they were as swift as the gazelles on the mountains:

| وَمِنْ أَبْطَالِ الْحَرْبِ رِجَالِ الْجَيْشِ مِنَ الْجَادِيِّينَ الَّذِينَ انْضَمُّوا إِلَى دَاوُدَ وَهُوَ فِي الْقَلْعَةِ مِمَّنْ بَرَعُوا فِي اسْتِعْمَالِ التُّرُوسِ وَالرِّمَاحِ وَوُجُوهُهُمْ كَوُجُوهِ الأُسُودِ، وَسُرْعَتُهُمْ كَسُرْعَةِ ظِبَاءِ الْجِبَالِ. |
গাদীয়াসকলৰ মাজৰ কিছুমান লোকে মৰুপ্রান্তৰ দুৰ্গত দায়ূদৰ লগত যোগ দিছিল। তেওঁলোক যুদ্ধাৰু, যুদ্ধৰ বাবে প্রশিক্ষণ প্রাপ্ত, তেওঁলোক ঢাল আৰু যাঠী ধৰাত সক্ষম আছিল; তেওঁলোকৰ মুখ সিংহৰ মুখৰ দৰে আছিল। তেওঁলোক পৰ্বতত থকা হৰিণাৰ নিচিনা বেগী আছিল।
Qadlılardan sipər və nizə işlədə bilən, döyüşməyi bacaran igidlər Davudun tərəfinə keçdilər və çöldəki qalaya gəldilər. Onların üzləri şir üzü kimi idi və dağlardakı ceyranlar kimi qaça bilirdilər.

গাদীয়দের কিছু লোক নিজেদের দল ছেড়ে মরু এলাকার দুর্গের মত জায়গায় দায়ূদের কাছে এসেছিলেন। তাঁরা ছিলেন যুদ্ধের শিক্ষা পাওয়া শক্তিশালী যোদ্ধা। তাঁরা ঢাল ও বর্শার ব্যবহার জানতেন। তাঁদের মুখ সিংহের মত ভয়ঙ্কর ছিল এবং পাহাড়ী হরিণের মত তাঁরা জোরে দৌড়াতে পারতেন।

From Gaddi also there went over to David, when he lay hid in the wilderness most valiant men, and excellent warriors, holding shield and spear: whose faces were like the faces of a lion, and they were swift like the roebucks on the mountains.
Some warriors from the tribe of Gad went over to David's side when he was at the stronghold in the desert. They were strong and experienced warriors, battle-hardened, experts in the use of shields and spears. Their faces looked as fierce as lions, and they ran as fast as gazelles in the mountains.

And of the Gadite there have been separated to David, to the fortress, to the wilderness, mighty men of valor, men of the host for battle, setting in array buckler and spear, and their faces [are as] the face of the lion, and as roes on the mountains for speed:

and from [the] Gad to separate to(wards) David to/for stronghold wilderness [to] mighty man [the] strength human army: war to/for battle to arrange shield and spear and face lion face their and like/as gazelle upon [the] mountain: mount to/for to hasten
Some men from the tribe of Gad [east of the Jordan River] joined David when he was at his fortress in [the caves in] the desert. They were brave warriors who were trained for fighting battles and able to use shields and spears well. They [SYN] were as fierce as [SIM, MTY] lions, and they could run as fast as [HYP, SIM] deer/gazelles on the hills/mountains.

And of the Gadites there separated themselves to David in the hold in the wilderness men of might, [and] men of war [fit] for the battle, that could handle shield and buckler, whose faces [were like] the faces of lions, and [were] as swift as the roes upon the mountains;
And of the Gadites there separated themselves to David in the strong hold in the wilderness men of might, and men of war fit for the battle, that could handle shield and buckler, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as swift as the roes upon the mountains;

Et parmi les Gadites vinrent comme transfuges joindre David à la forteresse du désert, des chefs de corps, soldats guerriers, armés de boucliers et de lances, ayant l'air de lions et l'agilité de la gazelle sur les montagnes:
Et, de la tribu de Gad, des hommes vaillants et forts, quittant le désert, rejoignirent David; tous exercés aux combats, portant bouclier et javelines, hommes à face de lion, et légers à la course dans les montagnes, comme des chevreuils.
Des Gadites se détachèrent pour passer à David, dans la forteresse du désert, vaillants héros, hommes de guerre, maniant le bouclier et la lance, ayant une apparence de lions et semblables à des chamois sur les montagnes pour la rapidité.
