The inhabitants of Jebus said to David, “You will not come in here!” Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion. The same is David’s city.

यबूसियों ने दावीद से कहा, “आप इस नगर में कभी आने न पाओगे.” फिर भी दावीद ने ज़ियोन गढ़ पर अधिकार कर लिया, जिसे दावीद-नगर भी कहा जाता है.

ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಒಳಗೆ ಬರಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಆದರೂ ಅವನು ದಾವೀದನಗರವೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಕೋಟೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.
