< 1 Chronicles 15 >

1 Lẹ́yìn ìgbà tí Dafidi ti kọ́ ilé fún ara rẹ̀ ní ìlú Dafidi. Ó sì fi ààyè sílẹ̀ fún àpótí ẹ̀rí Ọlọ́run ó sì pàgọ́ fún un.
David made himself houses in David’s city; and he prepared a place for God’s ark, and pitched a tent for it.
2 Nígbà náà Dafidi wí pé, kò sí ẹnìkan àyàfi àwọn ọmọ Lefi ni ó lè gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí Ọlọ́run, nítorí Olúwa yàn wọ́n láti gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa àti láti máa ṣe ìránṣẹ́ níwájú rẹ̀ títí láé.
Then David said, “No one ought to carry God’s ark but the Levites. For the LORD has chosen them to carry God’s ark, and to minister to him forever.”
3 Dafidi kó gbogbo àwọn ọmọ Israẹli jọ ní Jerusalẹmu láti gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa wá sí ibi tí ó ti pèsè sílẹ̀ fún un.
David assembled all Israel at Jerusalem, to bring up the LORD’s ark to its place, which he had prepared for it.
4 Wọ̀nyí ni àwọn ọmọ Aaroni àti àwọn ọmọ Lefi tí Dafidi péjọ papọ̀.
David gathered together the sons of Aaron and the Levites:
5 Ọgọ́fà nínú àwọn ọmọ Kohati; Urieli olórí àti àwọn ẹbí rẹ̀.
of the sons of Kohath, Uriel the chief, and his brothers one hundred and twenty;
6 Igba ó lé ogún nínú àwọn ọmọ Merari; Asaiah olórí àti àwọn ẹbí rẹ̀.
of the sons of Merari, Asaiah the chief, and his brothers two hundred and twenty;
7 Àádóje nínú àwọn ọmọ Gerṣoni; Joẹli olórí àti àwọn ẹbí rẹ̀.
of the sons of Gershom, Joel the chief, and his brothers one hundred and thirty;
8 Igba nínú àwọn ọmọ Elisafani; Ṣemaiah olórí àti àwọn ẹbí rẹ̀.
of the sons of Elizaphan, Shemaiah the chief, and his brothers two hundred;
9 Ọgọ́rin nínú àwọn ọmọ Hebroni; Elieli olórí àti àwọn ẹbí rẹ̀.
of the sons of Hebron, Eliel the chief, and his brothers eighty;
10 Méjìléláàádọ́fà nínú àwọn ọmọ Usieli; Amminadabu olórí àti àwọn ẹbí rẹ̀.
of the sons of Uzziel, Amminadab the chief, and his brothers one hundred and twelve.
11 Dafidi sì ránṣẹ́ pe Sadoku, Abiatari tí wọ́n jẹ́ àlùfáà, àti Urieli, Asaiah. Joẹli, Ṣemaiah, Elieli àti Amminadabu tí wọ́n jẹ́ Lefi.
David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites: for Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Amminadab,
12 Ó sì fi fún wọn pé, “Ẹ̀yin ni olórí àwọn ìdílé Lefi; ẹ̀yin àti àwọn Lefi ènìyàn yín, ẹ ya ara yín sí mímọ́ kí ẹ lè gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa, Ọlọ́run Israẹli, lọ sí ibi tí mó ti pèsè sílẹ̀ fún un.
and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it.
13 Nítorí tí ẹ̀yin ọmọ Lefi kò gbe gòkè wá ní ìgbà àkọ́kọ́ ti Olúwa Ọlọ́run fi ìbínú rẹ̀ ko lù wá. Àwa kò sì ṣe ìwádìí lọ́wọ́ rẹ̀ nípa bí a ti ń ṣe é gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọ́nà tí a là sílẹ̀.”
For because you didn’t carry it at first, the LORD our God broke out in anger against us, because we didn’t seek him according to the ordinance.”
14 Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni àwọn àlùfáà àti àwọn Lefi ya ara wọn sí mímọ́ láti gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa gòkè wá, Ọlọ́run Israẹli.
So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel.
15 Nígbà náà ni àwọn Lefi gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí Ọlọ́run pẹ̀lú ọ̀pá ní èjìká wọn gẹ́gẹ́ bí Mose ti pa á láṣẹ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa.
The children of the Levites bore God’s ark on their shoulders with its poles, as Moses commanded according to the LORD’s word.
16 Dafidi sọ fún àwọn olórí àwọn Lefi láti yan àwọn arákùnrin wọn gẹ́gẹ́ bí akọrin láti kọ orin ayọ̀, pẹ̀lú àwọn ohun èlò orin olókùn, dùùrù, àti símbálì.
David spoke to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brothers as singers with instruments of music, stringed instruments, harps, and cymbals, sounding aloud and lifting up their voices with joy.
17 Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni àwọn Lefi yan Hemani ọmọ Joẹli; àti nínú àwọn arákùnrin rẹ̀, Asafu ọmọ Berekiah, àti nínú àwọn ọmọ Merari arákùnrin wọn, Etani ọmọ Kuṣaiah;
So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brothers, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brothers, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;
18 àti pẹ̀lú wọn àwọn arákùnrin wọn tí a yàn bí olùrànlọ́wọ́ wọn: Sekariah, Jaasieli, Ṣemiramotu, Jehieli, Unni, Eliabu, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattitiah, Elifelehu, Mikimeiah, àti Obedi-Edomu àti Jeieli, àwọn aṣọ́bodè.
and with them their brothers of the second rank: Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.
19 Àwọn akọrin sì ni Hemani, Asafu, àti Etani ti àwọn ti kimbali idẹ tí ń dún kíkan;
So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were given cymbals of bronze to sound aloud;
20 Sekariah, Asieli, Ṣemiramotu, Jehieli, àti Unni, Eliabu, Maaseiah àti Benaiah àwọn tí ó gbọdọ̀ ta ohun èlò orin olókùn gẹ́gẹ́ bí alamoti,
and Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;
21 àti Mattitiah, Elifelehu, Mikneiah, Obedi-Edomu, Jeieli àti Asasiah ni ó ní láti ta ohun èlò olóhùn gooro, láti darí gẹ́gẹ́ bí ṣeminiti.
and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps tuned to the eight-stringed lyre, to lead.
22 Kenaniah olórí àwọn ará Lefi ni ó wà ní ìkáwọ́ orin èyí sì ni ojúṣe nítorí ó mòye nípa rẹ̀.
Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was over the singing. He taught the singers, because he was skilful.
23 Berekiah àti Elkana ni kí ó wà gẹ́gẹ́ bí olùṣọ́nà fún àpótí ẹ̀rí.
Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.
24 Ṣebaniah, Jehoṣafati, Netaneli, Amasai, Sekariah, Benaiah àti Elieseri ní àwọn àlùfáà, tí o ń fún ìpè níwájú àpótí ẹ̀rí Ọlọ́run. Obedi-Edomu àti Jehiah ni ó sì gbọdọ̀ jẹ́ olùṣọ́nà fún àpótí ẹ̀rí.
Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, blew the shofars before God’s ark; and Obed-Edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.
25 Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni Dafidi àti àwọn àgbàgbà Israẹli àti àwọn olórí ẹgbẹẹgbẹ̀rún lọ láti gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí ti májẹ̀mú Olúwa láti ilé Obedi-Edomu, pẹ̀lú inú dídùn.
So David, the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands went to bring the ark of the LORD’s covenant up out of the house of Obed-Edom with joy.
26 Nítorí Ọlọ́run tì ràn wọ́n lọ́wọ́ àwọn ará Lefi ẹni tí ó gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí ti májẹ̀mú Olúwa, akọ màlúù méje pẹ̀lú àgbò méje láti fi ṣé ìrúbọ.
When God helped the Levites who bore the ark of the LORD’s covenant, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.
27 Dafidi sì wọ efodu; aṣọ ìgúnwà ọ̀gbọ̀ dáradára, àti gbogbo àwọn ọmọ Lefi tí ń ru àpótí ẹ̀rí náà, àti àwọn akọrin, àti Kenaniah olórí pẹ̀lú àwọn akọrin. Dafidi sì wọ aṣọ ìgúnwà funfun.
David was clothed with a robe of fine linen, as were all the Levites who bore the ark, the singers, and Chenaniah the choir master with the singers; and David had an ephod of linen on him.
28 Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni gbogbo Israẹli gbé àpótí ẹ̀rí àti májẹ̀mú Olúwa gòkè wá pẹ̀lú ariwo, pẹ̀lú àyíká ìhó ayọ̀ àti láti fọn fèrè ti ìpè, àti kimbali, àti láti ta ohun èlò orin olókùn àti dùùrù olóhùn gooro.
Thus all Israel brought the ark of the LORD’s covenant up with shouting, with sound of the cornet, with shofars, and with cymbals, sounding aloud with stringed instruments and harps.
29 Bí àpótí ẹ̀rí Olúwa ti ń wọ ìlú ńlá Dafidi, Mikali ọmọbìnrin Saulu ń wò láti ojú fèrèsé nígbà tí ó sì rí ọba Dafidi ń jó, ó sì ń ṣe àjọyọ̀, ó sì kẹ́gàn rẹ̀ ní ọkàn rẹ̀.
As the ark of the LORD’s covenant came to David’s city, Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David dancing and playing; and she despised him in her heart.
