Psalms 91

1 Mutu wowo wumvuandanga ku tsi suamunu ki Nzambi yizangama, wela vundila ku tsi kitsusula ki Nzambi ngolo yoso.

He that dwellith in the help of the hiyeste God; schal dwelle in the proteccioun of God of heuene.

2 Ndiela tuba mu diambu di Yave: Niandi suamunu kiama ayi suamunu kiami kingolo. Nzambi ama, mu niandi ndintula diana.

He schal seie to the Lord, Thou art myn vptaker, and my refuit; my God, Y schal hope in him.

3 Bukiedika niandi wela ku vukisa mu ntambu ntambi wu zinuni, ayi mu nsongo weti vonda.

For he delyuered me fro the snare of hunteris; and fro a scharp word.

4 Wela ku fukidila mu zitsala ziandi ayi ku tsi mavavi mandi, wela bakula suamunu. Kikhuikizi kiandi kiela ba nkaku aku ayi baka kiaku kizangama.

With hise schuldris he schal make schadowe to thee; and thou schalt haue hope vnder hise fetheris.

5 Wulendi ko mona tsisi mu builu voti dionga dieti dumuka va muini;

His treuthe schal cumpasse thee with a scheld; thou schalt not drede of nyytis drede.

6 voti nsongo weti vonda, wumviokila mu tombi, voti vunga kieti bunga va muini ngembele.

Of an arowe fliynge in the dai, of a gobelyn goynge in derknessis; of asailing, and a myddai feend.

7 Mili yimosi yilenda bua va ndambu aku voti dikumi di mili va koko kuaku ku lubakala, vayi kadi diambu dimosi dilendi fikama ko va widi.

A thousynde schulen falle doun fro thi side, and ten thousynde fro thi riytside; forsothe it schal not neiye to thee.

8 Wela tala kaka mu meso maku ayi wela mona thumbudulu yi batu bambimbi.

Netheles thou schalt biholde with thin iyen; and thou schalt se the yelding of synneris.

9 Enati kitudi Nzambi yizangama buangu kiaku weti vuanda bosi Yave, suamunu kiama.

For thou, Lord, art myn hope; thou hast set thin help altherhiyeste.

10 Buna kadi mbimbi yimosi yilendi kubuila ko ayi kadi vuku kimosi kilendi fikama va nzoꞌaku yi ngoto ko.

Yuel schal not come to thee; and a scourge schal not neiye to thi tabernacle.

11 Bila, mu diambu diaku, wela tumina zimbasi ziandi muingi zikeba mu zinzila ziaku zioso.

For God hath comaundid to hise aungels of thee; that thei kepe thee in alle thi weies.

12 Ziawu ziela kuvumuna mu mioko miawu mu diambu di kulu kuaku kuedi bumina thutu mu ditadi.

Thei schulen beere thee in the hondis; leste perauenture thou hirte thi foot at a stoon.

13 Ngeyo wela diatidila khosi ayi kusa; wela kosikisa khosi yiyunduka ayi nioka,

Thou schalt go on a snake, and a cocatrice; and thou schalt defoule a lioun and a dragoun.

14 Yave kembi: “sumbu keta kunzola ndiela ku nkula, ayi ndiela ku nkeba bila zebi dizina diama.

For he hopide in me, Y schal delyuere hym; Y schal defende him, for he knew my name.

15 Wela kuthela ayi ndiela kumvana mvutu. Ndiela banga yandi mu ziphasi ndiela ku nkula ayi ku nkinzika.

He criede to me, and Y schal here him, Y am with him in tribulacioun; Y schal delyuere him, and Y schal glorifie hym.

16 Ndiela kunyukutisa mu luzingu lu mula ayi ndiela kummonisa phulusu ama.”

I schal fille hym with the lengthe of daies; and Y schal schewe myn helthe to him.
