Psalms 118
1 Luvutudila Yave matondo bila niandi widi wumboti; luzolo luandi lunzingilanga mu zithangu zioso.
Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.
2 Bika Iseli katuba: luzolo luandi lunzingilanga mu zithangu zioso.
Let Israel say, “His covenant faithfulness endures forever.”
3 Bika nzo yi Aloni yituba: luzolo luandi lunzingilanga mu zithangu zioso.
Let the house of Aaron say, “His covenant faithfulness endures forever.”
4 Bika bobo beti kinzika Yave batuba; luzolo luandi lunzingilanga mu zithangu zioso.
Let the loyal followers of Yahweh say, “His covenant faithfulness endures for ever.”
5 Ku tsi ziphasi ziama, ndiyamikina kuidi Yave, ayi wuphana mvutu bu kaphuandisa mu kiphuanza.
In my distress I called out to Yahweh; Yahweh answered me and set me free.
6 Yave widi ku ndambuꞌama, ndilendi mona tsisi ko. Buna mutu mbi kalenda ku phanga e?
Yahweh is with me; I will not be afraid; what can man do to me?
7 Yave widi ku ndambuꞌama, niandi nsadisi ama; buna ndiela nunga mu tala bambeni ziama.
Yahweh is on my side as my helper; I will look in triumph on those who hate me.
8 Bulutidi mboti mu suaminanga mu Yave viokila mu tula diana mu mutu.
It is better to take shelter in Yahweh than to put confidence in man.
9 Bulutidi mboti mu suaminanga mu Yave viokila mu tula diana mu bana ba mintinu.
It is better to take refuge in Yahweh than to put one's trust in a princes.
10 Makanda moso manzungidila vayi mu dizina di Yave, ndilembo babungi.
All the nations surrounded me; in Yahweh's name I cut them off.
11 Mawu manzungidila, ku ndambu ka ndambu vayi mu dizina di Yave, ndilembo babungi.
They surrounded me; yes, they surrounded me; in Yahweh's name I cut them off.
12 Mawu manzungidila banga ziniosi, vayi zifuidi mu nsualu banga zitsendi zinlema mbazu; mu dizina di Yave, ndilembo babungi
They surrounded me like bees; they disappeared as quickly as fire among thorns; in Yahweh's name I cut them off.
13 Bandunguna ku mbusa muingi ndibua vayi Yave wutsadisa.
They attacked me to knock me down, but Yahweh helped me.
14 Yave niandi zingolo ziama ayi nkungꞌama; niandi wuyika phulusu ama.
Yahweh is my strength and joy, and he is the one who rescues me.
15 Yamikina ku khini ayi ku ndungunu kulembo wakana mu zinzo zi ngoto zi batu basonga: koko ku lubakala ku Yave kuvanga mambu ma lulendo.
The joyful shout of victory is heard in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of Yahweh conquers.
16 Koko ku lubakala ku Yave kuidi ku zangama ngolo; koko ku lubakala ku Yave kuvanga mambu ma lulendo.
The right hand of Yahweh is exalted; the right hand of Yahweh conquers.
17 Ndilendi fua ko vayi ndiela zinga ayi ndiela yamikisa momo Yave kavanga.
I will not die, but live and declare the deeds of Yahweh.
18 Yave wuphana thumbudulu mu kingolo; vayi kasia kundiekula ko mu lufua.
Yahweh has punished me harshly; but he has not handed me over to death.
19 Nzibudila mielo mi busonga, ndiela kota ayi ndiela vutudila Yave matondo.
Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will enter them and I will give thanks to Yahweh.
20 Wawu, wawu muelo wu Yave, vawu basonga bafueti kotila.
This is the gate of Yahweh; the righteous enter through it.
21 Ndiela kuvutudila matondo bila ngeyo wuphana mvutu wuyika phulusu ama.
I will give thanks to you, for you answered me, and you have become my salvation.
22 Ditadi diloza mintungi diyika ditadi dilutidi mfunu va fuma ki nzo.
The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.
23 Yave wuvanga diambu diodi ayi didi diambu ditsiminanga va meso meto.
This is Yahweh's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.
24 Kiaki kiawu lumbu kivanga Yave, bika tumona khini ayi tuyangalala mu lumbu beni.
This is the day on which Yahweh has acted; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 A Yave, wutuvukisa! A Yave, wutusadisa tuluta kuenda ku ntuala.
Please, Yahweh, give us victory! Please, Yahweh, give us success!
26 Bika kasakumunu mutu wowo wunkuizila mu dizina di Yave; tona ku nzo Yave, tulembo kulusakumuna.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of Yahweh; we bless you from the house of Yahweh.
27 Yave niandi Nzambi ayi niandi wutukienzula; ayi mangiemvo mu mioko, lukota mu ntanda; nate ku ziphoka zi diziku dimvikulungu makabu.
Yahweh is God, and he has given us light; bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar.
28 Ngeyo Nzambi ama ayi ndiela kuvutudila matondo. Ngeyo Nzambi ama ayi ndiela kuyayisa.
You are my God, and I will give thanks to you; you are my God; I will exalt you.
29 Luvutudila Yave matondo bila niandi widi wumboti, bila luzolo luandi lunzingilanga mu zithangu zioso.
Oh, give thanks to Yahweh; for he is good; for his covenant faithfulness endures forever.
