Nê-hê-mi-a 3

1 Ê-li-a-síp, thầy tế lễ thượng phẩm, chổi dậy với các anh em mình, là những thầy tế lễ, và xây cất cái cửa Chiên. Chúng biệt nó riêng ra thánh và đặt hai cánh cửa; chúng biệt nó riêng ra thánh cho đến tháp Mê-a và cho đến tháp Ha-na-nê-ên.

Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Hammeah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananel.

2 Kế Ê-li-a-síp, người thành Giê-ri-cô xây cất; kế chúng, Xa-cu, con trai của Im-ri, xây cất.

And next unto him builded the men of Jericho. And next to them builded Zaccur the son of Imri.

And the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the bolts thereof, and the bars thereof.

And next unto them the Tekoites repaired; and their nobles put not their necks to the work of their lord.

And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, for them that appertained to the throne of the governor beyond the River.

8 Kế chúng, U-xi-ên, con trai Hạt-ha-gia, một kẻ trong bọn thợ vàng, tu bổ; kế người, Ha-na-nia, là người trong bọn thợ hòa hương, tu bổ; họ sửa xây Giê-ru-sa-lem cho vững bền đến vách rộng.

Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths. And next unto him repaired Hananiah one of the perfumers, and they restored Jerusalem even unto the broad wall.

And next unto them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem.

And next unto them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next unto him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabneiah.

11 Manh-ki-gia, con trai của Ha-rim, và Ha-súp, con trai của Pha-hát-Mô-áp, tu bổ một phần khác và cái tháp lò.

Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hasshub the son of Pahath-moab, repaired another portion, and the tower of the furnaces.

And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Hallohesh, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.

And the dung gate repaired Malchijah the son of Rechab, the ruler of the district of Beth-cherem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the bolts thereof, and the bars thereof.

After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of half the district of Keilah, for his district.

After him repaired their brethren, Bavvai the son of Henadad, the ruler of half the district of Keilah.

And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another portion, over against the ascent to the armoury at the Turning.

20 Sau người có Ba-rúc, con trai của Xáp-bai, lấy lòng sốt sắng tu bổ một phần khác, từ góc thành cho đến cửa vào nhà Ê-li-a-síp, thầy tế lễ thượng phẩm.

After him Baruch the son of Zaccai earnestly repaired another portion, from the Turning unto the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.

21 Sau người có Mê-rê-mốt, con trai U-ri, cháu Ha-cốt, sửa một phần khác, từ cửa vào nhà Ê-li-a-síp cho đến cuối nhà người.

After him repaired Meremoth the son of Uriah the son of Hakkoz another portion, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.

22 Sau người có những thầy tế lễ, là kẻ ở đồng bằng Giô-đanh, tu bổ.

And after him repaired the priests, the men of the Plain.

23 Kế chúng, Bên-gia-min và Ha-súp tu bổ phần đối ngang nhà mình. Kế chúng, A-xa-ria, con trai của ma-a-xê-gia, cháu A-na-nia, tu bổ phía bên nhà mình.

After them repaired Benjamin and Hasshub over against their house. After them repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah beside his own house.

After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another portion, from the house of Azariah unto the Turning and unto the corner.

25 Pha-lanh, con trai của U-xai, sửa nơi đối ngang góc thành và nơi tháp cao ló ra của đền vua, đụng giáp cái sân ngục. Kế người đó có Phê-đa-gia, con trai của Pha-rốt, tu bổ.

Palal the son of Uzai repaired over against the Turning, and the tower that standeth out from the upper house of the king, which is by the court of the guard. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh repaired. —

26 Vả, người Nê-thi-nim ở tại Ô-phên cho đến nơi đối ngang cửa Nước về phía đông, và tháp ló ra.

Now the Nethinim dwelt in Ophel, unto the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that standeth out. —

27 Kế người ấy có người Thê-cô-a sửa một phần khác đối ngang tháp lớn ló ra, và cho đến vách Ô-phên.

After him the Tekoites repaired another portion, over against the great tower that standeth out, and unto the wall of Ophel.

28 Những thầy tế lễ sửa nơi phía trên cửa Ngựa, mỗi người sửa phần đối ngang nhà của mình.

Above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his own house.

29 Sau chúng, Xa-đốc, con trai Y-mê, sửa nơi đối ngang nhà mình. Kế sau người có Sê-ma-gia, con trai Sê-ca-nia, kẻ giữ cửa đông, tu bổ.

After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his own house. And after him repaired Shemaiah the son of Shecaniah, the keeper of the east gate.

30 Kế người, Ha-na-nia, con trai của Sê-lê-mia, và Ha-nun, con thứ sáu của Xa-láp, sửa một phần khác. Kế chúng, Mê-su-lam, con trai của Bê-rê-kia, sửa nơi đối ngang nhà mình.

After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another portion. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber.

31 Kế người, Manh-ki-gia, một người trong bọn thợ vàng, sửa cho đến nhà của người Nê-thi-nim và tay buôn bán, đối ngang cửa Mi-phơ cát, và cho đến nơi dốc của góc thành.

After him repaired Malchijah one of the goldsmiths unto the house of the Nethinim, and of the merchants, over against the gate of Hammiphkad, and to the upper chamber of the corner.

32 Còn những thợ vàng và tay buôn bán đều sửa phần giữa nơi góc thành và cửa Chiên.

And between the upper chamber of the corner and the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
