Xê-ca-ri-a 12

1 Gánh nặng lời Ðức Giê-hô-va phán về Y-sơ-ra-ên. Ðức Giê-hô-va là Ðấng giương các từng trời, lập nền của đất, và tạo thần trong mình người ta, có phán như vầy:

The burden of the worde of the Lord vpon Israel, sayth the Lord, which spred the heauens, and layed the foundation of the earth, and formed the spirite of man within him.

2 Nầy, ta sẽ khiến Giê-ru-sa-lem làm chén xây xẩm cho mọi dân chung quanh; và khi Giê-ru-sa-lem bị vây, tai nạn sẽ cũng kịp đến Giu-đa.

Beholde, I will make Ierusalem a cuppe of poyson vnto all the people round about: and also with Iudah will he be, in ye siege against Ierusalem.

3 Xảy ra trong ngày đó, ta sẽ khiến Giê-ru-sa-lem làm hòn đá nặng cho các dân tộc. Phàm những kẻ mang nó sẽ bị thương nặng; và mọi nước trên đất sẽ nhóm lại nghịch cùng nó.

And in that day will I make Ierusalem an heauie stone for all people: all that lift it vp, shall be torne, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

4 Ðức Giê-hô-va phán: Trong ngày đó, ta sẽ đánh mỗi con ngựa cho kinh hãi, những kẻ cỡi nó phải điên cuồng; ta sẽ mở mắt ta trên nhà Giu-đa, và đánh mỗi con ngựa của các dân cho đui đi.

In that day, sayeth the Lord, I will smite euery horse with astonishment, and his rider with madnesse, and I will open mine eyes vpon the house of Iudah, and will smite euery horse of the people with blindnesse.

5 Bấy giờ các trưởng Giu-đa sẽ nói trong lòng mình rằng: Những dân cư Giê-ru-sa-lem là sức mạnh của ta trong Ðức Giê-hô-va vạn quân, là Ðức Chúa Trời mình.

And the princes of Iudah shall say in their hearts, The inhabitants of Ierusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hostes their God.

6 Trong ngày đó, ta sẽ làm cho các trưởng Giu-đa giống như một bếp lửa ở giữa những bó lúa, chúng nó sẽ thiêu nuốt bên hữu và bên tả hết thảy các dân tộc xung quanh; và dân cư Giê-ru-sa-lem sẽ lại còn ỡ chỗ mình, tức là Giê-ru-sa-lem.

In that day will I make the princes of Iudah like coles of fire among the wood, and like a fire brand in the sheafe, and they shall deuoure all the people round about on the right hand, and on the left: and Ierusalem shall be inhabited againe in her owne place, euen in Ierusalem.

7 Ðức Giê-hô-va trước hết sẽ cứu những trại của Giu-đa, hầu cho sự vinh hiển của nhà Ða-vít và sự vinh hiển của dân cư Giê-ru-sa-lem không dấy lên trên Giu-đa được.

The Lord also shall preserue the tents of Iudah, as afore time: therefore the glorie of the house of Dauid shall not boast, nor the glorie of the inhabitants of Ierusalem against Iudah.

8 Trong ngày đó, Ðức Giê-hô-va sẽ làm Ðấng bảo hộ của dân cư Giê-ru-sa-lem, và trong ngày đó kẻ rất yếu trong chúng nó sẽ như Ða-vít, nhà Ða-vít sẽ như Ðức Chúa Trời, sẽ như thiên sứ của Ðức Giê-hô-va ở trước mặt chúng nó.

In that day shall the Lord defende the inhabitants of Ierusalem, and he that is feeble among them, in that day shall be as Dauid: and the house of Dauid shall be as Gods house, and as the Angel of the Lord before them.

9 Xảy ra trong ngày đó ta sẽ tìm cách hủy diệt hết thảy những nước nào đến đánh Giê-ru-sa-lem.

And in that day will I seeke to destroy all the nations that come against Ierusalem.

10 Ta sẽ đổ thần của ơn phước và của sự nài xin ra trên nhà Ða-vít, và trên dân cư Giê-ru-sa-lem; chúng nó sẽ nhìn xem ta là Ðấng chúng nó đã đâm; và chúng nó sẽ thương khóc, như là thương khóc con trai một, sẽ ở trong sự cay đắng vì cớ con đầu lòng.

And I will powre vpon the house of Dauid, and vpon the inhabitants of Ierusalem the Spirite of grace and of compassion, and they shall looke vpon me, whom they haue pearced, and they shall lament for him, as one mourneth for his onely sonne, and be sorie for him as one is sorie for his first borne.

11 Trong ngày đó, sẽ có sự thương khóc lớn tại Giê-ru-sa-lem, như là sự thương khóc của Ha-đát-Rim-môn ở trong đồng bằng Mê-ghi-đô.

In that day shall there be a great mourning in Ierusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

12 Ðất nầy sẽ thương khóc, mỗi họ riêng phần mình: họ của nhà Ða-vít riêng ra, những vợ chúng nó riêng ra; họ của nhà Na-than riêng ra, những vợ chúng nó riêng ra;

And the land shall bewayle euery familie apart, the familie of the house of Dauid apart, and their wiues apart: the familie of the house of Nathan apart, and their wiues apart:

13 họ của nhà Lê-vi riêng ra, những vợ chúng nó riêng ra; Họ Si-mê -y riêng ra, những vợ chúng nó riêng ra;

The familie of the house of Leui apart, and their wiues apart: the familie of Shemei apart, and their wiues apart:

14 phàm những họ còn sót lại, mỗi họ riêng ra, và những vợ chúng nó riêng ra.

All the families that remaine, euery familie apart, and their wiues apart.
