Thánh Thi 81
1 Hãy hát reo cho Ðức Chúa Trời là sức lực chúng ta; Hãy cất tiếng la vui vẻ cho Ðức Chúa Trời của Gia-cốp.
To him that excelleth upon Gittith. A Psalme committed to Asaph. Sing ioyfully vnto God our strength: sing loude vnto the God of Iaakob.
2 Hãy hát xướng và nổi tiếng trống cơm, Ðờn cầm êm dịu với đờn sắt.
Take the song and bring forth the timbrel, the pleasant harpe with the viole.
3 Hãy thổi kèn khi trăng non, Lúc trăng rầm, và nhằm các ngày lễ chúng ta.
Blowe the trumpet in the newe moone, euen in the time appointed, at our feast day.
4 Vì ấy là một luật cho Y-sơ-ra-ên, Một lệ do Ðức Chúa Trời của Gia-cốp.
For this is a statute for Israel, and a Law of the God of Iaakob.
5 Ngài lập đều ấy làm chứng cớ nơi Giô-sép, Lúc Ngài ra đánh xứ Ê-díp-tô, Là nơi tôi nghe một thứ tiếng tôi chẳng hiểu.
Hee set this in Ioseph for a testimonie, when hee came out of the land of Egypt, where I heard a language, that I vnderstoode not.
6 Ta đã cất gánh nặng khỏi vai người; Tay người được buông khỏi cái giỏ.
I haue withdrawen his shoulder from the burden, and his handes haue left the pots.
7 Trong cơn gian truân ngươi kêu cầu, ta bèn giải cứu ngươi, Ðáp lại ngươi từ nơi kín đáo của sấm sét, Và cũng thử thách ngươi nơi nước Mê-ri-ba.
Thou calledst in affliction and I deliuered thee, and answered thee in the secret of the thunder: I prooued thee at the waters of Meribah. (Selah)
8 Hỡi dân sự ta, hãy nghe, ta sẽ làm chứng cho ngươi: Ớ Y-sơ-ra-ên! chớ chi ngươi khứng nghe ta!
Heare, O my people, and I wil protest vnto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken vnto me,
9 Giữa ngươi chẳng nên có thần lạ nào, Ngươi cũng chẳng nên thờ lạy thần kẻ ngoại.
Let there bee no strange god in thee, neither worship thou any strange god.
10 Ta là Giê-hô-va, Ðức Chúa Trời ngươi, Ðấng đã đem ngươi lên khỏi xứ Ê-díp-tô: Hãy hả hoác miệng ngươi ra, thì ta sẽ làm đầy dẫy nó.
For I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide and I will fill it.
11 Nhưng dân sự ta không khứng nghe tiếng ta, Y-sơ-ra-ên không muốn vâng theo ta.
But my people would not heare my voyce, and Israel would none of me.
12 Vì vậy, ta buông chúng nó đi theo sự cứng lòng chúng nó, Ðể chúng nó đi theo mưu kế riêng chúng nó.
So I gaue them vp vnto the hardnesse of their heart, and they haue walked in their owne cousels.
13 Ôi! chớ chi dân ta khứng nghe ta! Chớ chi Y-sơ-ra-ên chịu đi trong đường lối ta!
Oh that my people had hearkened vnto me, and Israel had walked in my wayes.
14 Thì chẳng bao lâu ta bắt suy phục các thù nghịch chúng nó, Trở tay ta nghịch những cừu địch chúng nó.
I would soone haue humbled their enemies, and turned mine hand against their aduersaries.
15 Những kẻ ghen ghét Ðức Giê-hô-va ắt sẽ suy phục Ngài; Song dân ta sẽ còn đến đời đời.
The haters of the Lord should haue bene subiect vnto him, and their time should haue endured for euer.
16 Ta sẽ lấy màu mỡ ngũ cốc mà nuôi họ. Và làm cho ngươi được no nê bằng mật ong nơi hòn đá.
And God would haue fedde them with the fatte of wheat, and with honie out of the rocke would I haue sufficed thee.
