I-sai-a 32

1 Nầy, sẽ có một vua lấy nghĩa trị vì, các quan trưởng lấy lẽ công bình mà cai trị.

Behold, a King shall reigne in iustice, and the princes shall rule in iudgement.

2 Sẽ có một người như nơi núp gió và chỗ che bão táp, như suối nước trong nơi đất khô, như bóng vầng đá lớn trong xứ mòn mỏi.

And that man shall bee as an hiding place from the winde, and as a refuge for the tempest: as riuers of water in a drie place, and as the shadowe of a great rocke in a weary land.

3 Bấy giờ mắt của kẻ xem sẽ không mờ, tai của kẻ nghe sẽ chăm chỉ.

The eyes of the seeing shall not be shut, and the eares of them that heare, shall hearken.

4 Lòng của người hớp tớp sẽ hiểu sự khôn ngoan; lưỡi của người cà lăm sẽ nói dễ và rõ.

And the heart of the foolish shall vnderstand knowledge, and the tongue of the stutters shalbe ready to speake distinctly.

5 Kẻ dại dột sẽ chẳng được xưng là cao sang, người rít róng chẳng được xưng là rộng rãi.

A nigard shall no more be called liberall, nor the churle riche.

6 Vì kẻ dại dột sẽ nói những lời dại dột, lòng họ xiêu về sự gian dối, đặng phạm các tội ác, đặng nói những sự sai lầm nghịch cùng Ðức Giê-hô-va, đặng làm cho kẻ đói trống bụng và kẻ khát hết đồ uống.

But the nigarde will speake of nigardnesse, and his heart will worke iniquitie, and do wickedly, and speake falsely against the Lord, to make emptie the hungrie soule, and to cause the drinke of the thirstie to faile.

7 Kẻ rít róng dùng những khí giới gian tà, toan những mưu gian, lấy sự nói dối đặng làm hại người nhu mì, và làm hại kẻ nghèo dầu nói lẽ công bình.

For the weapons of the churle are wicked: hee deuiseth wicked counsels, to vndoe the poore with lying words: and to speake against the poore in iudgement.

8 Nhưng người cao sang chỉ lập những mưu cao sang, hằng làm sự cao sang.

But the liberall man will deuise of liberall things, and he will continue his liberalitie.

9 Hỡi những đờn bà sung sướng, hãy dậy mà nghe tiếng ta! Hỡi những con gái không hay lo, hãy để tai nghe lời ta!

Rise vp, ye women that are at ease: heare my voyce, ye carelesse daughters: hearken to my wordes.

10 Trong một năm và mấy ngày nữa, các ngươi là kẻ không lo lắng, sẽ đều run rẩy, vì mùa nho sẽ mất, và mùa gặt cũng không có nữa.

Yee women, that are carelesse, shall be in feare aboue a yeere in dayes: for the vintage shall faile, and the gatherings shall come no more.

11 Ðờn bà sung sướng, hãy run rẩy! con gái không hay lo, hãy bối rối! Hãy cổi áo xống, hãy ở trần, hãy thắt lưng bằng bao gai.

Yee women, that are at ease, be astonied: feare, O yee carelesse women: put off the clothes: make bare, and girde sackcloth vpon the loynes.

12 Chúng nó sẽ đấm ngực vì đồng điền màu mỡ, vì cây nho sai trái.

Men shall lament for the teates, euen for the pleasant fieldes, and for the fruitefull vine.

13 Chà chuôm gai gốc sẽ mọc lên trên đất dân ta, cùng trên mọi nhà chơi trong thành vui vẻ.

Vpon the lande of my people shall growe thornes and briers: yea, vpon all the houses of ioye in the citie of reioysing,

14 Vì cung điện vắng tanh, thành đông đúc hoang loạn; đồi và tháp từ nay sẽ trở nên sào huyệt đến đời đời, cho những lừa rừng choán làm nơi nghỉ, và những bầy vật thả ăn,

Because the palace shalbe forsaken, and the noise of the citie shalbe left: the towre and fortresse shalbe dennes for euer, and the delite of wilde asses, and a pasture for flockes,

15 cho đến chừng Thần từ nơi cao được rải xuống khắp trên chúng ta, đồng vắng biến thành ruộng tốt, ruộng tốt được kể như rừng rậm.

Vntill the Spirit be powred vpon vs from aboue, and the wildernes become a fruitfull fielde, and the plenteous fielde be counted as a forest.

16 Bấy giờ sự xét đoán sẽ ở nơi đồng vắng, sự công bình sẽ trú nơi ruộng tốt.

And iudgement shall dwel in the desert, and iustice shall remaine in the fruitfull fielde.

17 Công bình sẽ sanh ra bình an, trái của sự công bình là yên lặng và an ổn mãi mãi.

And the worke of iustice shall bee peace, euen the worke of iustice and quietnesse, and assurance for euer.

18 Dân ta sẽ trú trong chỗ bình an, trong nhà yên ổn và nơi nghỉ lặng lẽ.

And my people shall dwell in the tabernacle of peace, and in sure dwellings, and in safe resting places.

19 Nhưng mưa đá sẽ đổ xuống trên rừng, và thành sẽ bị hạ cả xuống.

When it haileth, it shall fall on the forest, and the citie shall be set in the lowe place.

20 Phước thay cho các ngươi gieo giống ở bên mọi dòng nước, thả chơn bò lửa đi.

Blessed are ye that sowe vpon all waters, and driue thither the feete of the oxe and the asse.
