II Sa-mu-ên 22
1 Khi Ðức Giê-hô-va đã giải cứu Ða-vít khỏi tay các thù nghịch và khỏi tay Sau-lơ, thì người hát các lời nầy mà ngợi khen Ðức Giê-hô-va,
And Dauid spake the woordes of this song vnto the Lord, what time the Lord had deliuered him out of the handes of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul.
2 rằng: Ðức Giê-hô-va là hòn đá và đồn lũy tôi, Ðấng giải cứu tôi.
And he sayd, The Lord is my rocke and my fortresse, and he that deliuereth mee.
3 Ðức Chúa Trời tôi là hòn đá tôi, nơi tôi sẽ nương náu mình, Là thuẫn đỡ tôi, sừng chửng cứu tôi, Ngọn tháp cao và nơi nương dựa của tôi; Hỡi Ðấng che chở tôi! ấy Ngài giải cứu tôi khỏi sự hung bạo.
God is my strength, in him will I trust: my shielde, and the horne of my saluation, my hie tower and my refuge: my Sauiour, thou hast saued me from violence.
4 Tôi sẽ kêu cầu cùng Ðức Giê-hô-va, là Ðấng đáng khen ngợi; Thì tôi sẽ được giải cứu khỏi các thù nghịch tôi.
I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praysed: so shall I be safe from mine enemies.
5 Các lượng sóng của tử vong đã phủ bao tôi, Lụt gian ác chảy cuộn làm cho tôi sợ hãi;
For the pangs of death haue compassed me: the floods of vngodlinesse haue made mee afrayd.
The sorowes of the graue compassed mee about: the snares of death ouertooke mee. (Sheol h7585)
7 Trong cơn hoạn nạn tôi cầu khẩn Ðức Giê-hô-va, Tôi kêu la cùng Ðức Chúa Trời tôi. Ở nơi đền Ngài nghe tiếng tôi, Tiếng kêu cầu của tôi thấu đến tai Ngài.
But in my tribulation did I call vpon the Lord, and crie to my God, and he did heare my voyce out of his temple, and my crie did enter into his eares.
8 Bấy giờ, đất động và rung, Nền các từng trời cũng lay chuyển, Nó rúng động, vì Ngài nổi giận.
Then the earth trembled and quaked: the foundations of the heauens mooued and shooke, because he was angrie.
9 Khói bay ra từ lỗ mũi Ngài, Và từ miệng Ngài phát ra ngọn lửa hực. Ngài khiến than hừng đỏ phun ra,
Smoke went out at his nostrels, and consuming fire out of his mouth: coles were kindled thereat.
10 Làm nghiêng lệch các từng trời, và ngự xuống, Dưới chơn Ngài có vùng đen kịt.
He bowed the heauens also, and came downe, and darkenes was vnder his feete.
11 Ngài cỡi một chê-ru-bin và bay; Ngài hiện ra trên cánh của gió.
And he rode vpon Cherub and did flie, and hee was seene vpon the winges of the winde.
12 Ngài bủa ra sự tối tăm, những vùng nước, những mây đen mịt, Chung quanh mình như một cái trại.
And hee made darkenesse a Tabernacle round about him, euen the gatherings of waters, and the cloudes of the ayre.
13 Từ sự rực rỡ ở trước mặt Ngài, Những than hực chiếu sáng ra.
At the brightnesse of his presence the coles of fire were kindled.
14 Ðức Giê-hô-va sấm sét trên các từng trời, Ðấng Chí cao làm cho tiếng Ngài vang rân.
The Lord thundred from heauen, and the most hie gaue his voyce.
15 Ngài bắn tên, làm cho quân thù tôi tản lạc, Phát chớp nhoáng, khiến chúng nó lạc đường.
He shot arrowes also, and scattered them: to wit, lightning, and destroyed them.
16 Bởi lời hăm he của Ðức Giê-hô-va, Bởi gió xịt ra khỏi lỗ mũi Ngài, Ðáy biển bèn lộ ra, Nền thế gian bị bày tỏ.
The chanels also of the sea appeared, euen the foundations of the worlde were discouered by the rebuking of the Lord, and at the blast of the breath of his nostrels.
17 Từ trên cao, Ngài giơ tay nắm tôi, Rút tôi ra khỏi nước sâu.
He sent from aboue, and tooke me: hee drewe me out of many waters.
18 Ngài giải cứu tôi khỏi kẻ thù nghịch cường bạo, Khỏi kẻ ghét tôi, vì chúng nó mạnh hơn tôi.
He deliuered me from my strong enemie, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
19 Trong ngày hoạn nạn chúng nó đến xông vào tôi; Nhưng Ðức Giê-hô-va nâng đỡ tôi.
They preuented me in the day of my calamitie, but the Lord was my stay,
20 Ngài đem tôi ra nơi rộng rãi, Giải cứu tôi, vì Ngài ưa thích tôi.
And brought me foorth into a large place: he deliuered me, because he fauoured me.
21 Ðức Giê-hô-va đã thưởng tôi tùy sự công bình tôi, Báo tôi theo sự thanh sạch của tay tôi.
The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousnesse: according to the purenesse of mine handes he recompensed me.
22 Vì tôi có giữ theo các đường lối của Ðức Giê-hô-va, Không làm ác xây bỏ Ðức Chúa Trời tôi.
For I kept the wayes of the Lord, and did not wickedly against my God.
23 Vì các mạng lịnh của Ngài đều ở trước mặt tôi, Tôi chẳng lìa xa các luật lệ Ngài.
For all his lawes were before me, and his statutes: I did not depart therefrom.
24 Tôi cũng ở trọn vẹn với Ngài, Và giữ lấy mình khỏi gian ác.
I was vpright also towarde him, and haue kept me from my wickednesse.
25 Vì vậy, Ðức Giê-hô-va đã báo tôi tùy sự công bình tôi, Thưởng tôi theo sự tinh sạch tôi trước mặt Ngài.
Therefore the Lord did reward me according to my righteousnesse, according to my purenesse before his eyes.
26 Kẻ hay thương xót, Chúa sẽ thương xót lại; Ðối cùng kẻ trọn vẹn, Chúa sẽ tỏ mình trọn vẹn lại.
With the godly thou wilt shewe thy selfe godly: with the vpright man thou wilt shew thy selfe vpright.
27 Ðối cùng kẻ tinh sạch, Chúa sẽ tỏ mình tinh sạch lại; Còn đối cùng kẻ trái nghịch, Chúa sẽ tỏ mình nhặt nhiệm lại.
With the pure thou wilt shewe thy selfe pure, and with the frowarde thou wilt shew thy selfe frowarde.
28 Vì Chúa cứu dân bị khốn khổ; Nhưng mắt Chúa coi chừng kẻ kiêu căng đặng làm chúng nó bị hạ xuống.
Thus thou wilt saue the poore people: but thine eyes are vpon the hautie to humble them.
29 Ðức Giê-hô-va ôi! thật Ngài làm ngọn đèn tôi, Và Ðức Giê-hô-va sẽ chiếu sáng sự tối tăm tôi.
Surely thou art my light, O Lord: and the Lord will lighten my darkenes.
30 Nhờ Ngài tôi sẽ xông ngang qua đạo binh, Cậy Ðức Chúa Trời tôi, tôi vượt khỏi tường thành.
For by thee haue I broken through an hoste, and by my God haue I leaped ouer a wall.
31 Còn Ðức Chúa Trời, các đường của Ngài vốn là trọn vẹn, Lời của Ðức Giê-hô-va là tinh tường. Ngài là cái thuẫn cho mọi người nương náu mình nơi Ngài.
The way of God is vncorrupt: the word of the Lord is tryed in the fire: he is a shield to all that trust in him.
32 Vậy, trừ ra Ðức Giê-hô-va ai là Ðức Chúa Trời? Ai là hòn đá lớn, nếu không phải là Ðức Chúa Trời chúng ta?
For who is God besides the Lord? and who is mightie, saue our God?
33 Ðức Chúa Trời là đồn lũy vững chắc của tôi, Ngài dắt người trọn vẹn vào đường chánh đáng.
God is my strength in battel, and maketh my way vpright.
34 Ngài làm cho chơn tôi lẹ như chơn nai cái, Và để tôi đứng trên các nơi cao của tôi.
He maketh my feete like hindes feete, and hath set me vpon mine hie places.
35 Ngài tập tay tôi chiến trận, Ðến đỗi cánh tay tôi gương nổi cung đồng.
He teacheth mine handes to fight, so that a bowe of brasse is broken with mine armes.
36 Chúa đã ban sự chửng cứu cho tôi làm cái khiên, Và sự hiền từ Chúa đã làm cho tôi nên sang trọng.
Thou hast also giuen me the shield of thy saluation, and thy louing kindnesse hath caused me to increase.
37 Chúa mở rộng đường dưới bước tôi, Và chơn tôi không xiêu tó.
Thou hast inlarged my steppes vnder me, and mine heeles haue not slid.
38 Tôi đuổi theo kẻ thù nghịch tôi, và hủy diệt nó, Chỉ trở về sau khi đã tận diệt chúng nó.
I haue pursued mine enemies and destroyed them, and haue not turned againe vntill I had consumed them.
39 Tôi trừ tiệt, đâm lủng chúng nó, không thể dậy lại được; Chúng nó sa ngã dưới chơn tôi.
Yea, I haue consumed them and thrust them through, and they shall not arise, but shall fall vnder my feete.
40 Vì Chúa đã thắt lưng tôi bằng sức mạnh để chiến trận, Và khiến kẻ dấy nghịch cùng tôi xếp rệp dưới tôi.
For thou hast girded me with power to battell, and them that arose against me, hast thou subdued vnder me.
41 Chúa cũng khiến kẻ thù nghịch xây lưng cùng tôi, Hầu cho tôi diệt những kẻ ghét tôi.
And thou hast giuen me the neckes of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
42 Chúng nó trông ngóng, nhưng chẳng ai cứu cho; Chúng nó kêu cùng Ðức Giê-hô-va, song Ngài không đáp lại.
They looked about, but there was none to saue them, euen vnto the Lord, but he answered them not.
43 Bấy giờ tôi đập giập chúng nó khác nào bụi dưới đất; Chà nát, giày đạp chúng nó giống như bùn ngoài đường.
Then did I beate them as small as the dust of the earth: I did treade them flat as the clay of the streete, and did spread them abroad.
44 Chúa đã giải cứu tôi khỏi sự tranh giành của dân sự tôi, Gìn giữ tôi để làm đầu các nước; Một dân tộc tôi không quen biết sự phục sự tôi.
Thou hast also deliuered me from the contentions of my people: thou hast preserued me to be the head ouer nations: the people which I knewe not, doe serue me.
45 Các người ngoại quốc sẽ phục dưới tôi; Vừa nghe nói về tôi, chúng nó đều vâng theo tôi.
Strangers shalbe in subiection to me: assoone as they heare, they shall obey me.
46 Các người ngoại quốc sẽ tàn mọt, Ði ra khỏi chỗ ẩn mình cách run sợ.
Strangers shall shrinke away, and feare in their priuie chambers.
47 Ðức Giê-hô-va hằng sống; đáng ngợi khen hòn đá lớn tôi! Nguyện Ðức Chúa Trời, là hòn đá của sự chửng cứu tôi, được tôn cao!
Let the Lord liue, and blessed be my strength: and God, euen the force of my saluation be exalted.
48 Từ là Ðức Chúa Trời báo thù cho tôi, Khiến các dân tộc qui phục tôi.
It is God that giueth me power to reuenge me, and subdue the people vnder me,
49 Ngài giải cứu tôi khỏi kẻ thù nghịch; Thật Chúa nâng tôi lên cao hơn kẻ dấy nghịch cùng tôi, Và cứu tôi khỏi người hung bạo.
And rescueth me from mine enemies: (thou also hast lift me vp from them that rose against me, thou hast deliuered me from the cruell man.
50 Vì vậy, Ðức Giê-hô-va ôi! Tôi sẽ khen ngợi Ngài tại giữa các dân, Và ca tụng danh của Ngài.
Therefore I will praise thee, O Lord amog the nations, and will sing vnto thy Name)
51 Ðức Giê-hô-va ban cho vua của Ngài sự giải cứu lớn lao, Và làm ơn cho đấng chịu xức dầu của Ngài, Tức là cho Ða-vít và cho dòng dõi người, đến đời đời.
He is the tower of saluation for his King, and sheweth mercie to his anointed, euen to Dauid, and to his seede for euer.
