1 Y-sa-ca có bốn người con là Thô-la, Phu-va, Gia-súp, và Sim-rôn.
Now the sons of Issachar were, Tola, and Puah, Jashub, and Shimron, four.
2 Các con Thô-la là U-xi, Rê-pha-gia, Giê-ri-ên, Giác-mai, Díp-sam, và Sa-mu-ên. Thế hệ này gồm những tay anh dũng, và đều trở thành trưởng họ của dòng tộc. Dưới thời Vua Đa-vít, tổng số chiến sĩ thuộc dòng này lên đến 22.600.
And the sons of Tola; Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Jibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their father’s house, that is, of Tola: they were valiant men of might in their generations; whose number was in the days of David two and twenty thousand and six hundred.
3 Con U-xi là Dích-ra-hia. Các con Dích-ra-hia là Mi-ca-ên, Ô-ba-đia, Giô-ên, và Di-si-gia. Cả năm người đều trở thành trưởng họ.
And the sons of Uzzi; Izrahiah: and the sons of Izrahiah; Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, Ishiah, five: all of them chief men.
4 Các gia đình này có nhiều vợ, đông con, nên số con cháu họ gia nhập binh ngũ lên tới 36.000 người.
And with them, by their generations, after the house of their fathers, were bands of soldiers for war, six and thirty thousand men: for they had many wives and sons.
5 Tổng số chiến sĩ trong tất cả dòng họ của đại tộc Y-sa-ca, là 87.000. Tất cả người này đều được ghi vào sách gia phả của họ.
And their brethren among all the families of Issachar were valiant men of might, reckoned in all by their genealogies eighty and seven thousand.
6 Bên-gia-min có ba người con là Bê-la, Bê-ka, và Giê-đi-a-ên.
The sons of Benjamin; Bela, and Becher, and Jediael, three.
7 Các con Bê-la là Ét-bôn, U-xi, U-xi-ên, Giê-ri-mốt, và Y-ri. Cả năm người này đều là trưởng họ. Tất cả chiến sĩ trong các họ này là 22.034 người, tính theo gia phả của họ.
And the sons of Bela; Ezbon, and Uzzi, and Uzziel, and Jerimoth, and Iri, five; heads of the house of their fathers, mighty men of valour; and were reckoned by their genealogies twenty and two thousand and thirty and four.
8 Các con Bê-ka là Xê-mi-ra, Giô-ách, Ê-li-ê-se, Ê-li-ô-ê-nai, Ôm-ri, Giê-rê-mốt, A-bi-gia, A-na-tốt, và A-lê-mết.
And the sons of Becher; Zemira, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jerimoth, and Abiah, and Anathoth, and Alameth. All these are the sons of Becher.
9 Họ đều là trưởng họ, số con cháu họ làm chiến sĩ lên đến 20.200 người theo gia phả.
And the number of them, after their genealogy by their generations, heads of the house of their fathers, mighty men of valour, was twenty thousand and two hundred.
10 Con Giê-đi-a-ên là Binh-han. Các con Binh-han là Giê-úc, Bên-gia-min, Ê-hút, Kê-na-na, Xê-than, Ta-rê-si, và A-hi-sa-ha.
The sons also of Jediael; Bilhan: and the sons of Bilhan; Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tharshish, and Ahishahar.
11 Họ đều là trưởng họ. Số con cháu họ làm chiến sĩ lên tới 17.200 người.
All these the sons of Jediael, by the heads of their fathers, mighty men of valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred soldiers, fit to go out for war and battle.
12 Các con Y-rơ là Súp-bim và Hốp-bim. Hu-sim là con A-he.
Shuppim also, and Huppim, the children of Ir, and Hushim, the sons of Aher.
13 Nép-ta-li có bốn con là Gia-si-ên, Gu-ni, Giê-xe, và Sa-lum. Họ là cháu nội của bà Bi-la, vợ lẽ của Gia-cốp.
The sons of Naphtali; Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.
14 Ma-na-se có với bà vợ lẽ người A-ram hai con: Ách-ri-ên và Ma-ki. Ma-ki là cha Ga-la-át.
The sons of Manasseh; Ashriel, whom she bore: ( but his Syrian concubine bore Machir the father of Gilead:
15 Ma-ki cưới vợ là Ma-a-ca, em gái của Hốp-bim và Súp-bim. Vợ thứ của ông là Xê-lô-phát chỉ sinh được con gái.
And Machir took for a wife the sister of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister’s name was Maachah; ) and the name of the second was Zelophehad: and Zelophehad had daughters.
16 Ma-a-ca, vợ Ma-ki sinh được một người con, đặt tên là Phê-rết. Em Phê-rết là Sê-rết. Con Phê-rết là U-lam và Rê-kim.
And Maachah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she called his name Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.
17 Con U-lam là Bê-đan. Đó là con cháu Ga-la-át, con Ma-ki, cháu Ma-na-se.
And the sons of Ulam; Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.
18 Ha-mô-lê-kết, em gái Ga-la-át sinh Y-sốt, A-bi-ê-xe, và Mách-la.
And his sister Hammoleketh bore Ishod, and Abiezer, and Mahalah.
19 Các con Sê-mi-đa là A-hi-an, Si-chem, Li-khi, và A-ni-am.
And the sons of Shemida were, Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.
20 Con trai Ép-ra-im là Su-tê-la, Bê-re, Ta-hát, Ê-lê-a-đa, Ta-hát,
And the sons of Ephraim; Shuthelah, and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eladah his son, and Tahath his son,
21 Xa-bát, Su-tê-la, Ê-xe, và Ê-lê-át. Hai người trong số này bị người địa phương đánh chết khi xuống đất Gát cướp súc vật.
And Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath that were born in that land slew, because they came down to take away their cattle.

And Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brethren came to comfort him.

And when he went in to his wife, she conceived, and bore a son, and he called his name Beriah, because it went evil with his house.
24 Ép-ra-im có một con gái tên Sê-ê-ra, là người xây Bết-hô-rôn Thượng, Bết Hô-rôn Hạ, và U-xên Sê-ê-ra.
(And his daughter was Sherah, who built Bethhoron the lower, and the upper, and Uzzensherah.)
25 Con cháu của Ép-ra-im còn có Rê-pha, Rê-sép, Tê-la, Tha-han,
And Rephah was his son, also Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son,
26 La-ê-đan, A-mi-hút, Ê-li-sa-ma,
Laadan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son,
27 Nun, và Giô-suê.
Non his son, Jehoshua his son.

And their possessions and habitations were, Bethel and its towns, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer, with its towns, Shechem also and its towns, to Gaza and its towns:

And by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Bethshean and its towns, Taanach and its towns, Megiddo and its towns, Dor and its towns. In these dwelt the children of Joseph the son of Israel.
30 Các con A-se là: Im-na, Dích-va, Ích-vi, và Bê-ri-a. Em gái của họ là Sê-ra.
The sons of Asher; Imnah, and Isuah, and Ishuai, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.
31 Các con Bê-ri-a là: Hê-be và Manh-ki-ên (tổ phụ của Biếc-xa-vít).
And the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel, who is the father of Birzavith.
32 Con Hê-be gồm có Giáp-phơ-lết, Sô-me, và Hô-tham. Họ có em gái tên Su-a.
And Heber begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shua their sister.
33 Con Giáp-phơ-lết gồm có Pha-sác, Binh-hanh, và A-vát.
And the sons of Japhlet; Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These are the children of Japhlet.
34 Con Sô-me gồm có A-hi, Rô-hê-ga, Hu-ba, và A-ram.
And the sons of Shamer; Ahi, and Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram.
35 Con Hê-lem gồm có Xô-pha, Dim-na, Sê-lết, và A-manh.
And the sons of his brother Helem; Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh, and Amal.
36 Con Xô-pha gồm có Su-a, Hạt-nê-phe, Su-anh, Bê-ri, Dim-ra,
The sons of Zophah; Suah, and Harnepher, and Shual, and Beri, and Imrah,
37 Ba-san, Hốt, Sa-ma, Sinh-sa, Dít-ran, và Bê-ê-ra.
Bezer, and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilshah, and Ithran, and Beera.
38 Con Giê-the gồm có Giê-phu-nê, Phít-ba, và A-ra.
And the sons of Jether; Jephunneh, and Pispah, and Ara.
39 Con U-la gồm có A-ra, Ha-ni-ên, và Ri-xi-a.
And the sons of Ulla; Arah, and Haniel, and Rezia.
40 Các con cháu A-se đều làm trưởng họ. Họ là những chiến sĩ anh dũng, lãnh đạo các quan tướng. Theo gia phả của họ, con cháu A-se có đến 26.000 người phục vụ trong quân đội.
All these were the children of Asher, heads of their father’s house, choice and mighty men of valour, chief of the princes. And the number throughout the genealogy of them that were fit for war and for battle was twenty and six thousand men.
