Adam, Sheth, Enosh,
2 Kê-nan, Ma-ha-la-lê, Gia-rết,
Kenan, Mahalaleel, Iered,
3 Hê-nóc, Mê-tu-sê-la, Lê-méc,
Henoch, Methushelah, Lamech,
4 và Nô-ê. Con trai của Nô-ê là Sem, Cham, và Gia-phết.

Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshishah, Kittim, and Dodanim.
8 Con trai của Cham là Cút, Mích-ra-im, Phút, và Ca-na-an.
The sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, Put and Canaan.
9 Con trai của Cút là Xê-ba, Ha-vi-la, Xấp-ta, Ra-ma, và Sáp-tê-ca. Con trai của Ra-ma là Sê-ba và Đê-đan.
And the sonnes of Cush, Siba and Hauilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. Also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.

Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.
19 Hê-be sinh Bê-léc (Bê-léc nghĩa là “chia rẽ” vì sinh vào lúc các dân tộc chia ra thành từng nhóm ngôn ngữ khác nhau). Người em tên Giốc-tan.
Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was ye earth deuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.

Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazermaueth and Ierah,
21 Ha-đô-ram, U-xa, Điết-la,
And Hadoram and Vzal and Diklah,
22 Ô-ban, A-bi-ma-ên, Sê-ba,
And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

Serug, Nahor, Terah,

And the sonnes of Midian were Ephah, and Ephar, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah: All these are the sonnes of Keturah.

And Abraham begate Izhak: the sonnes of Izhak, Esau, and Israel.

The sonnes of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, and Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
36 Con trai của Ê-li-pha là Thê-man, Ô-ma, Xê-phô, Ga-tam, Kê-na, và A-ma-léc. A-ma-léc do Thim-na sinh ra.
The sonnes of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 Con trai của Rê-u-ên là Na-hát, Xê-rách, Sam-ma, và Mích-xa.
The sonnes of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.
38 Ngoài ra, Ê-sau còn sinh các con trai khác là Lô-than, Sô-banh, Xi-bê-ôn, A-na, Đi-sôn, Ét-xe, và Đi-san.
And the sonnes of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.

And the sonnes of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, and Timna Lotans sister.
40 Con trai của Sô-banh là Anh-van, Ma-na-hát, Ê-banh, Sê-phô, và Ô-nam. Con trai của Xi-bê-ôn là Ai-gia và A-na.
The sonnes of Shobal were Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sonnes of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.

The sonne of Anah was Dishon. And the sonnes of Dishon, Amran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Con trai của Ét-xe là Binh-han, Xa-van, và A-can. Con trai của Đi-san là U-xơ và A-ran.
The sonnes of Ezer were Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Iaakan. The sonnes of Dishon were Vz, and Aran.

And these were the Kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before a King reigned ouer the children of Israel, to wit, Bela the sonne of Beor, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.

Then Bela died, and Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

And whe Iobab was dead, Hussham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

And when Hussham was dead, Hadad the sonne of Bedad which smote Midian in the fielde of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.

So Hadad dyed, and Samlah of Mashrecah reigned in his stead.

And Samlah dyed, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer reigned in his stead.
49 Khi Sau-lơ chết, Ba-anh Ha-nan, con trai Ách-bô, kế vị Sau-lơ.
And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 Khi Ba-anh Ha-nan chết, Ha-đát kế vị Ba-anh Ha-nan và đóng đô tại Pha-i. Hoàng hậu tên là Mê-hê-ta-bê-ên, con gái Mát-rết, cháu ngoại Mê-xa-háp.
And Baal-hanan dyed, and Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pai, and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred the daughter of Mezahab.
51 Sau đó Ha-đát băng hà. Ê-đôm có các trưởng tộc là Thim-na, Anh-va, Giê-hết,
Hadad dyed also, and there were dukes in Edom, duke Timna, duke Aliah, duke Ietheth,
52 Ô-hô-li-ba-ma, Ê-la, Phi-nôn,
Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53 Kê-na, Thê-man, Míp-xa,
Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,

Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these were the dukes of Edom.
