< Matta 8 >

1 U taƣdin qüxkǝndǝ, top-top kixilǝr uningƣa ǝgixip mangdi.
When Jesus had come down from the hill, great crowds followed him.
2 Wǝ mana, mahaw kesili bar bolƣan bir kixi uning aldiƣa kelip, bexini yǝrgǝ urup tizlinip: — Tǝⱪsir, ǝgǝr halisingiz, meni kesilimdin pak ⱪilalaysiz! — dedi.
He saw a leper who came up, and bowed to the ground before him, and said, ‘Master, if only you are willing, you are able to make me clean.’
3 Əysa uningƣa ⱪolini tǝgküzüp turup: — Halaymǝn, pak bolƣin! — dewidi, bu adǝmning mahaw kesili xuan pak bolup saⱪaydi.
Stretching out his hand, Jesus touched him, saying as he did so, ‘I am willing; become clean.’ Instantly he was made clean from his leprosy;
4 Əysa uningƣa: — Ⱨazir bu ixni ⱨeqkimgǝ eytma, bǝlki udul berip kaⱨinƣa ɵzüngni kɵrsitip, ularda bir guwaⱨliⱪ bolux üqün, Musa bu ixta ǝmr ⱪilƣan ⱨǝdiyǝ-ⱪurbanliⱪni sunƣin, — dedi.
and then Jesus said to him, ‘Be careful not to say a word to anyone, but go and show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift directed by Moses, as evidence of your cure.’
5 U Kǝpǝrnaⱨum xǝⱨirigǝ barƣanda, [rimliⱪ] bir yüzbexi uning aldiƣa kelip, uningdin yelinip:
After Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion in the Roman army came up to him, entreating his help.
6 — Tǝⱪsir, qakirim palǝq bolup ⱪelip, bǝk azablinip ɵydǝ yatidu, — dedi.
‘Sir,’ he said, ‘my manservant is lying ill at my house with a stroke of paralysis, and is suffering terribly.’
7 Mǝn berip uni saⱪaytip ⱪoyay, — dedi Əysa.
‘I will come and cure him,’ answered Jesus.
8 Yüzbexi jawabǝn: — Tǝⱪsir, torusumning astiƣa kirixingizgǝ layiⱪ ǝmǝsmǝn. Pǝⱪǝt bir eƣizla sɵz ⱪilip ⱪoysingiz, qakirim saⱪiyip ketidu.
‘Sir,’ the centurion went on, ‘I am unworthy to receive you under my roof; but only speak, and my manservant will be cured.
9 Qünki mǝnmu baxⱪa birsining ⱨoⱪuⱪi astidiki adǝmmǝn, mening ⱪol astimda lǝxkǝrlirim bar. Birigǝ bar desǝm baridu, birigǝ kǝl desǝm, kelidu. Ⱪulumƣa bu ixni ⱪil desǝm, u xu ixni ⱪilidu, — dedi.
For I myself am a man under the orders of others, with soldiers under me; and, if I say to one of them “Go,” he goes, and to another “Come,” he comes, and to my slave “Do this,” he does it.’
10 Əysa bu gǝplǝrni anglap, ⱨǝyran boldi. Ɵzi billǝ kǝlgǝnlǝrgǝ: — Mǝn silǝrgǝ xuni bǝrⱨǝⱪ eytip ⱪoyayki, bundaⱪ ixǝnqni ⱨǝtta Israillar arisidimu tapalmiƣanidim.
Jesus was surprised to hear this, and said to those who were following him, ‘Never I tell you, in any Israelite have I met with such faith as this!
11 Silǝrgǝ xuni eytayki, nurƣun kixilǝr künqiⱪix wǝ künpetixtin kelip, ǝrx padixaⱨliⱪida Ibraⱨim, Isⱨaⱪ wǝ Yaⱪuplar bilǝn bir dastihanda olturidu.
Yes, and many will come in from East and West and take their places beside Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven;
12 Lekin bu padixaⱨliⱪning ɵz pǝrzǝntliri bolsa, sirtta ⱪarangƣuluⱪⱪa taxlinip, u yǝrdǝ yiƣa-zarlar kɵtüridu, qixlirini ƣuqurlitidu, — dedi.
while the heirs to the kingdom will be banished into the darkness outside; there, there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.’
13 Andin, Əysa yüzbexiƣa: — Ɵyünggǝ ⱪayt, ixǝnginingdǝk sǝn üqün xundaⱪ ⱪilinidu, dedi. Ⱨeliⱪi qakarning kesili xu pǝyttǝ saⱪaytildi.
Then Jesus said to the centurion, ‘Go now, and it will be according to your faith.’ And the man was cured that very hour.
14 Əysa Petrusning ɵyigǝ barƣanda, Petrusning ⱪeynanisining ⱪizip orun tutup yetip ⱪalƣinini kɵrdi.
When Jesus went into Peter’s house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law prostrated with fever.
15 U uning ⱪolini tutiwidi, uning ⱪizitmisi yandi. [Ayal] dǝrⱨal ornidin turup, Əysani kütüxkǝ baxlidi.
On his taking her hand, the fever left her, and she rose and began to take care of him.
16 Kǝq kirgǝndǝ, kixilǝr jin qaplaxⱪan nurƣun adǝmlǝrni uning aldiƣa elip kelixti. U bir eƣiz sɵz bilǝnla jinlarni ⱨǝydiwǝtti wǝ barliⱪ kesǝllǝrni saⱪaytti.
In the evening the people brought to Jesus many who were possessed by demons; and he drove out the spirits with a word, and cured all who were ill,
17 Buning bilǝn, Yǝxaya pǝyƣǝmbǝr arⱪiliⱪ yǝtküzülgǝn: «U ɵzi aƣriⱪ-silaⱪlirimizni kɵtürdi, kesǝllirimizni üstigǝ aldi» degǝn sɵz ǝmǝlgǝ axuruldi.
in fulfilment of these words in the prophet Isaiah – “He took our infirmities on himself, and bore the burden of our diseases.”
18 Əysa ɵzini oriwalƣan top-top kixilǝrni kɵrüp, [muhlisliriƣa] dengizning u ⱪetiƣa ɵtüp ketixni ǝmr ⱪildi.
Seeing a crowd round him, Jesus gave orders to go across.
19 Xu qaƣda, Tǝwrat ustazliridin biri kelip, uningƣa: — Ustaz, sǝn ⱪǝyǝrgǝ barsang, mǝnmu sanga ǝgixip xu yǝrgǝ barimǝn, — dedi.
A teacher of the Law came up to him, and said, ‘Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.’
20 Əysa uningƣa: — Tülkilǝrning ɵngkürliri, asmandiki ⱪuxlarning uwiliri bar; biraⱪ Insan’oƣlining bexini ⱪoyƣudǝk yerimu yoⱪ, — dedi.
‘Foxes have holes,’ answered Jesus, ‘and wild birds their nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.’
21 Muhlisliridin yǝnǝ biri uningƣa: — Rǝb, mening awwal berip atamni yǝrlikkǝ ⱪoyuxumƣa ijazǝt bǝrgǝysǝn, — dedi.
‘Master,’ said another, who was a disciple, ‘let me first go and bury my father.’
22 Biraⱪ Əysa uningƣa: — Manga ǝgǝxkin, wǝ ɵlüklǝr ɵz ɵlüklirini yǝrlikkǝ ⱪoysun, — dedi.
But Jesus answered, ‘Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their dead.’
23 U kemigǝ qüxti, muhlislirimu qüxüp billǝ mangdi.
Then he got into the boat, followed by his disciples.
24 Wǝ mana, dengiz üstidǝ ⱪattiⱪ boran qiⱪip kǝtti; xuning bilǝn dolⱪunlar kemidin ⱨalⱪip kemini ƣǝrⱪ ⱪiliwetǝy dǝp ⱪaldi. Lekin u uhlawatatti.
Suddenly so great a storm came up on the sea, that the waves broke right over the boat. But Jesus was asleep;
25 Muhlislar kelip uni oyƣitip: — I ustaz, bizni ⱪutuldurƣaysǝn! Biz ⱨalakǝt aldida turimiz — dedi.
and the disciples came and roused him. ‘Master,’ they cried, ‘save us; we are lost!’
26 — Nemixⱪa ⱪorⱪisilǝr, i ixǝnqi ajizlar! — dedi u wǝ ornidin turup, boran-qapⱪunƣa wǝ dengizƣa tǝnbiⱨ beriwidi, ⱨǝmmisi birdinla tinqidi.
‘Why are you so timid?’ he said. ‘You of little faith!’ Then Jesus rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and a great calm followed.
27 Muhlislar intayin ⱨǝyran bolup, bir-birigǝ: — Bu zadi ⱪandaⱪ adǝmdu? Ⱨǝtta boran-qapⱪunlar wǝ dengizmu uningƣa boysunidikǝn-ⱨǝ! — dǝp ketixti.
The men were amazed, and exclaimed, ‘What kind of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!’
28 Əysa dengizning u ⱪetidiki Gadaraliⱪlarning yurtiƣa barƣinida, jin qaplaxⱪan ikki kixi gɵrliridin qiⱪip uningƣa aldiƣa kǝldi. Ular xunqǝ wǝⱨxiy idiki, ⱨeqkim bu yǝrdin ɵtüxkǝ jür’ǝt ⱪilalmaytti.
On getting to the other side – the region of the Gadarenes – Jesus met two men who were possessed by demons, coming out of the tombs. They were so violent that no one was able to pass that way.
29 Uni kɵrgǝndǝ ular: — I Hudaning Oƣli, sening biz bilǝn nemǝ karing! Sǝn waⱪit-saiti kǝlmǝyla bizni ⱪiyniƣili kǝldingmu? — dǝp towlidi.
Suddenly they shrieked out, ‘What do you want with us, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before our time?’
30 Xu yǝrdin heli yiraⱪta qong bir top tongguz padisi otlap yürǝtti.
A long way off, there was a herd of many pigs, feeding;
31 Jinlar ǝmdi uningƣa: — Əgǝr sǝn bizni ⱪoƣliwǝtmǝkqi bolsang, bizni tongguz padisi iqigǝ kirgüzüwǝtkǝysǝn, — dǝp yalwuruxti.
and the foul spirits began begging Jesus, ‘If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.’
32 U ularƣa: — Qiⱪinglar! — dewidi, jinlar qiⱪip, tongguzlarning tenigǝ kiriwaldi. Mana, pütkül tongguz padisi tik yardin etilip qüxüp, sularda ƣǝrⱪ boldi.
‘Go,’ he said. The spirits came out, and entered the pigs; and the whole herd rushed down the steep slope into the sea, and died in the water.
33 Lekin tongguz baⱪⱪuqilar bǝdǝr ⱪeqip, xǝⱨǝrgǝ kirip, bu ixning bax-ahirini, jümlidin jin qaplaxⱪan kixilǝrning kǝqürmixlirini halayiⱪⱪa eytip berixti.
At this the men who tended them ran away and went to the town, carrying the news of all that had occurred, and of what had happened to the possessed men.
34 Wǝ mana, pütün xǝⱨǝrdikilǝr Əysa bilǝn kɵrüxkili qiⱪti. Ular uni kɵrgǝndǝ, uning ɵzlirining xu rayonidin ayrilip ketixini ɵtündi.
At the news the whole town went out to meet Jesus, and, when they saw him, they entreated him to go away from their region.
