1 Лазарус дегән бир адәм кесәл болуп қалған еди. У Мәрйәм вә һәдиси Марта турған, Бәйт-Ания дегән кәнттә туратти
Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.
2 (бу Мәрйәм болса, Рәбгә хушбуй майни сүркигән, путлирини өз чачлири билән ертип қурутқан һелиқи Мәрйәм еди; кесәл болуп ятқан Лазарус униң иниси еди).
(It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)
3 Лазарусниң һәдилири Әйсаға хәвәрчи әвәтип: «И Рәб, мана сән сөйгән [достуң] кесәл болуп қалди» дәп йәткүзди.
Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom you love is sick.
4 Лекин Әйса буни аңлап: — Бу кесәлдин өлүп кәтмәйду, бәлки бу арқилиқ Худаниң Оғли улуқлинип, Худаниң шан-шәриви аян қилиниду — деди.
When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
5 Әйса Марта, сиңлиси вә Лазарусни толиму сөйәтти.
Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.
6 Шуңа у Лазарусниң кесәл екәнлигини аңлиған болсиму, өзи туруватқан җайда йәнә икки күн турди.
When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
7 Андин кейин у мухлислириға: — Йәһудийәгә қайта барайли! — деди.
Then after that says he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.
8 Мухлислири униңға: — Устаз, йеқиндила [у йәрдики] Йәһудийлар сени чалма-кесәк қилмақчи болған турса, йәнә у йәргә қайта барамсән? — дейишти.
His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone you; and go you thither again?
9 Әйса мундақ деди: — Күндүздә он икки саат бар әмәсму? Күндүзи йол маңған киши путлашмас, чүнки у бу дунияниң йоруғини көриду.
Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbles not, because he sees the light of this world.
10 Лекин кечиси йол маңған киши путлишар, чүнки униңда йоруқлуқ йоқтур.
But if a man walk in the night, he stumbles, because there is no light in him.
11 Бу сөзләрни ейтқандин кейин, у: — Достимиз Лазарус ухлап қалди; мән уни уйқисидин ойғатқили баримән, — дәп қошуп қойди.
These things said he: and after that he says unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleeps; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
12 Шуңа мухлислар униңға: — И Рәб, ухлиған болса, яхши болуп қалиду, — деди.
Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
13 Һалбуки, Әйса Лазарусниң өлүми тоғрилиқ ейтқан еди, лекин улар у дәм елиштики уйқини дәватиду, дәп ойлашти.
Nevertheless Jesus spoke of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
14 Шуңа Әйса уларға очуғини ейтип: — Лазарус өлди, — деди.
Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.
15 — Бирақ силәрни дәп, силәрниң етиқат қилишиңлар үчүн, [униң қешида] болмиғанлиғимға хошалмән. Әнди униң йениға барайли, — деди.
And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent all of you may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.
16 «Қош гезәк» дәп атилидиған Томас башқа мухлисдашлириға: — Бизму униң билән биллә барайли һәм униң билән биллә өләйли, — деди.
Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellow disciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.
17 Әйса мухлислири билән Бәйт-Анияға барғанда, Лазарусниң йәрликкә қоюлғиниға аллиқачан төрт күн болғанлиғи униңға мәлум болди.
Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already.
18 Бәйт-Ания Йерусалимға йеқин болуп, униңдин алтә чақиримчә жирақлиқта еди,
Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:
19 шуниң билән нурғун Йәһудийлар Марта билән Мәрйәмгә иниси тоғрисида тәсәлли бәргили уларниң йениға кәлгән еди.
And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
20 Марта әнди Әйсаниң келиватқинини аңлапла, униң алдиға чиқти. Лекин Мәрйәм болса өйидә олтирип қалди.
Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.
21 Марта әнди Әйсаға: — И Рәб, бу йәрдә болған болсаң, иним өлмигән болатти.
Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if you had been here, my brother had not died.
22 Һелиһәм Худадин немини тилисәң, Униң саңа шуни беридиғанлиғини билимән, — деди.
But I know, that even now, whatsoever you will ask of God, God will give it you.
23 — Иниң қайта тирилиду, — деди Әйса.
Jesus says unto her, Your brother shall rise again.
24 Марта: — Ахирқи күнидә, йәнә тирилиш күнидә униң җәзмән тирилидиғанлиғини билимән, — деди.
Martha says unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
25 Әйса униңға: — Тирилиш вә һаятлиқ мән өзүмдурмән; маңа етиқат қилғучи киши өлсиму, һаят болиду;
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Believe you this? (aiōn g165)
27 У униңға: — Ишинимән, и Рәб; сениң дунияға келиши муқәррәр болған Мәсиһ, Худаниң Оғли екәнлигиңгә ишинимән.
She says unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
28 Буни дәп болуп, у берип сиңлиси Мәрйәмни астиғина чақирип: — Устаз кәлди, сени чақириватиду, — деди.
And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master has come, and calls for you.
29 Мәрйәм буни аңлап, дәрһал орнидин туруп, униң алдиға барди
As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him.
30 (шу пәйттә Әйса техи йезиға кирмигән болуп, Марта униң алдиға меңип, учришип қалған йәрдә еди).
Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him.
31 Әнди [Мәрйәмгә] тәсәлли бериватқан, өйдә униң билән олтарған Йәһудийлар униң алдирап қопуп сиртқа чиқип кәткинини көрүп, уни қәбиргә берип шу йәрдә жиға-зерә қилғили кәтти, дәп ойлап, униң кәйнидин меңишти.
The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goes unto the grave to weep there.
32 Мәрйәм әнди Әйса бар йәргә барғанда уни көрүп, айиғиға өзини етип: — И Рәб, бу йәрдә болған болсаң, иним өлмигән болатти! — деди.
Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if you had been here, my brother had not died.
33 Әйса Мәрйәмниң жиға-зерә қилғинини, шундақла униң билән биллә кәлгән Йәһудий хәлиқниң жиға-зерә қилишқинини көргәндә, роһида қаттиқ пиған чекип, көңли толиму беарам болди вә:
When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, (pneuma) and was troubled.
34 — Уни қәйәргә қойдуңлар? — дәп сориди. — И Рәб, келип көргин, — дейишти улар.
And said, Where have all of you laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.
35 Әйса көз йеши қилди.
Jesus wept.
36 Йәһудий хәлқи: — Қараңлар, у уни қанчилик сөйгән! — дейишти.
Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!
37 Вә улардин бәзилири: — Қариғуниң көзини ачқан бу киши кесәл адәмни өлүмдин сақлап қалалмасмиди? — дейишти.
And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?
38 Әйса ичидә йәнә қаттиқ пиған чекип, қәбирниң алдиға барди. Қәбир бир ғар еди; униң кириш ағзиға чоң бир таш қоюқлуқ еди.
Jesus therefore again groaning in himself comes to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.
39 Әйса: — Ташни еливетиңлар! — деди. Өлгүчиниң һәдиси Марта: — И Рәб, йәрликкә қойғили төрт күн болди, һазир у пурап кәткәнду, — деди.
Jesus said, Take all of you away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, says unto him, Lord, by this time he stinks: for he has been dead four days.
40 Әйса униңға: — Мән саңа: «Етиқат қилсаң, Худаниң шан-шәривини көрисән» дегән едимғу! — деди.
Jesus says unto her, Said I not unto you, that, if you would believe, you should see the glory of God?
41 Буниң билән халайиқ ташни еливәтти. Әйса көзлирини асманға тикип мундақ дуа қилди: — И Ата, тилигимни аңлиғиниң үчүн саңа тәшәккүр ейтимән.
Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank you that you have heard me.
42 Тиләклиримни һемишә аңлайдиғанлиғиңни билимән; лекин шундақ болсиму, әтрапимдики мошу халайиқ сениң мени әвәткәнлигиңгә ишәнсун дәп, буни ейтиватимән!
And I knew that you hear me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that you have sent me.
43 Бу сөзләрни қилғандин кейин, у жуқури авазда: — Лазарус, ташқириға чиқ! — дәп товлиди.
And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 Өлгүчи қол-путлири кепәнләнгән, еңиги теңилған һалда ташқириға чиқти. Әйса уларға: — Кепәнни йешиветип, уни азат қилиңлар! — деди.
And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a cloth. Jesus says unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
45 Мәрйәмниң йениға пәтә қилип келип, униң әмиллирини көргән Йәһудийлар ичидин нурғунлири униңға етиқат қилди.
Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.
46 Лекин уларниң ичидә бәзилири Пәрисийләрниң йениға берип, Әйсаниң қилған ишлирини мәлум қилишти.
But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.
47 Шуңа баш каһинлар вә Пәрисийләр Йәһудийларниң кеңәшмисини жиғип: — Қандақ қилишимиз керәк? Бу адәм нурғун мөҗизилик аламәтләрни яритиватиду.
Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man does many miracles.
48 Униңға шундақ йол қоюп беривәрсәк, һәммә адәм униңға етиқат қилип кетиду. Шундақ болғанда, Римлиқлар келип бу бизниң җайимиз вә қовмимизни вәйран қиливетиду! — дейишти.
If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
49 Уларниң ичидә бири, йәни шу жили баш каһин болған Қаяфа: — Силәр һеч немини билмәйдикәнсиләр!
And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, All of you know nothing at all,
50 Пүтүн хәлиқниң һалак болушиниң орниға, бирла адәмниң улар үчүн өлүшиниң әвзәллигини чүшинип йәтмәйдикәнсиләр, — деди
Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
51 (бу сөзни у өзлүгидин ейтмиған еди; бәлки у шу жили баш каһин болғанлиғи үчүн, Әйсаниң [Йәһудий] хәлқи үчүн, шундақла пәқәт у хәлиқ үчүнла әмәс, бәлки Худаниң һәр янға тарқилип кәткән пәрзәнтлириниң һәммисини бир қилип уюштуруш үчүн өлидиғанлиғидин алдин бешарәт берип шундақ дегән еди).
And this spoke he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
53 Шуниң билән улар мәслиһәтлишип, шу күндин башлап Әйсани өлтүрүветишни қәстлиди.
Then from that day forth they took counsel together in order to put him to death.
54 Шуниң үчүн Әйса әнди Йәһудийлар арисида ашкарә жүрмәйтти, у у йәрдин айрилип чөлгә йеқин райондики Әфраим исимлиқ бир шәһиригә берип, мухлислири билән у йәрдә турди.
Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.
55 Әнди Йәһудийларниң «өтүп кетиш һейти»ға аз қалған еди. Нурғун кишиләр таһарәтни ада қилиш үчүн, һейттин илгири йезилардин Йерусалимға келишти.
And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.
56 Шуниң билән биллә шу кишиләр Әйсани издәшти. Улар ибадәтханида жиғилғанда бир-биригә: — Қандақ ойлаватисиләр? У һейт өткүзгили кәлмәсму? — дейишти.
Then sought they for Jesus, and spoke among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think all of you, that he will not come to the feast?
57 Баш каһинлар билән Пәрисийләр болса уни тутуш үчүн, һәр кимниң униң қәйәрдилигини билсә, мәлум қилиши тоғрилиқ пәрман чиқарған еди.
Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should show it, that they might take him.
