यूहन्ना 5
1 इन बातों के बाद यहूदियों की एक 'ईद हुई और ईसा येरूशलेम को गया।
After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2 येरूशलेम में भेड़ दरवाज़े के पास एक हौज़ है जो 'इब्रानी में बैत हस्दा कहलाता है, और उसके पाँच बरामदेह हैं।
Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
3 इनमें बहुत से बीमार और अन्धे और लंगड़े और कमज़ोर लोग जो पानी के हिलने के इंतज़ार में पड़े थे।
In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
4 [क्यूँकि वक़्त पर ख़ुदावन्द का फ़रिश्ता हौज़ पर उतर कर पानी हिलाया करता था। पानी हिलते ही जो कोई पहले उतरता सो शिफ़ा पाता, उसकी जो कुछ बीमारी क्यूँ न हो।]
For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
5 वहाँ एक शख़्स था जो अठतीस बरस से बीमारी में मुब्तिला था।
And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 उसको 'ईसा ने पड़ा देखा और ये जानकर कि वो बड़ी मुद्दत से इस हालत में है, उससे कहा, “क्या तू तन्दरुस्त होना चाहता है?”
When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he says unto him, Will you be made whole?
7 उस बीमार ने उसे जवाब दिया, “ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! मेरे पास कोई आदमी नहीं कि जब पानी हिलाया जाए तो मुझे हौज़ में उतार दे, बल्कि मेरे पहुँचते पहुँचते दूसरा मुझ से पहले उतर पड़ता है।”
The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steps down before me.
8 'ईसा ने उससे कहा, “उठ, और अपनी चारपाई उठाकर चल फिर।”
Jesus says unto him, Rise, take up your bed, and walk.
9 वो शख़्स फ़ौरन तन्दरुस्त हो गया, और अपनी चारपाई उठाकर चलने फिरने लगा।
And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
10 वो दिन सबत का था। पस यहूदी अगुवे उससे जिसने शिफ़ा पाई थी कहने लगे, “आज सबत का दिन है, तुझे चारपाई उठाना जायज़ नहीं।”
The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.
11 उसने उन्हें जवाब दिया, जिसने मुझे तन्दरुस्त किया, उसी ने मुझे फ़रमाया, “अपनी चारपाई उठाकर चल फिर।”
He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up your bed, and walk.
12 उन्होंने उससे पूछा, “वो कौन शख़्स है जिसने तुझ से कहा, 'चारपाई उठाकर चल फिर'?”
Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto you, Take up your bed, and walk?
13 लेकिन जो शिफ़ा पा गया था वो न जानता था कि वो कौन है, क्यूँकि भीड़ की वजह से 'ईसा वहाँ से टल गया था।
And he that was healed know not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.
14 इन बातों के बाद वो ईसा को हैकल में मिला; उसने उससे कहा, “देख, तू तन्दरुस्त हो गया है! फिर गुनाह न करना, ऐसा न हो कि तुझपर इससे भी ज़्यादा आफ़त आए।”
Afterward Jesus finds him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, you are made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto you.
15 उस आदमी ने जाकर यहूदियों को ख़बर दी कि जिसने मुझे तन्दरुस्त किया वो ईसा है।
The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.
16 इसलिए यहूदी ईसा को सताने लगे, क्यूँकि वो ऐसे काम सबत के दिन करता था।
And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
17 लेकिन ईसा ने उनसे कहा, “मेरा आसमानी बाप अब तक काम करता है, और मैं भी काम करता हूँ।”
But Jesus answered them, My Father works until now, and I work.
18 इस वजह से यहूदी और भी ज़्यादा उसे क़त्ल करने की कोशिश करने लगे, कि वो न फ़क़त सबत का हुक्म तोड़ता, बल्कि ख़ुदा को ख़ास अपना बाप कह कर अपने आपको ख़ुदा के बराबर बनाता था
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
19 पस ईसा ने उनसे कहा, “मैं तुम से सच कहता हूँ कि बेटा आप से कुछ नहीं कर सकता, सिवा उसके जो बाप को करते देखता है; क्यूँकि जिन कामों को वो करता है, उन्हें बेटा भी उसी तरह करता है।
Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for what things whatsoever he does, these also does the Son likewise.
20 इसलिए कि बाप बेटे को 'अज़ीज़ रखता है, और जितने काम ख़ुद करता है उसे दिखाता है; बल्कि इनसे भी बड़े काम उसे दिखाएगा, ताकि तुम ता'ज्जुब करो।
For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all things that himself does: and he will show him greater works than these, that all of you may marvel.
21 क्यूँकि जिस तरह बाप मुर्दों को उठाता और ज़िन्दा करता है, उसी तरह बेटा भी जिन्हें चाहता है ज़िन्दा करता है।
For as the Father raises up the dead, and replenishes life to them; even so the Son gives life to whom he will.
22 क्यूँकि बाप किसी की 'अदालत भी नहीं करता, बल्कि उसने 'अदालत का सारा काम बेटे के सुपुर्द किया है;
For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment unto the Son:
23 ताकि सब लोग बेटे की 'इज़्ज़त करें जिस तरह बाप की 'इज़्ज़त करते हैं। जो बेटे की 'इज़्ज़त नहीं करता, वो बाप की जिसने उसे भेजा 'इज़्ज़त नहीं करता।
That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honors not the Son honors not the Father which has sent him.
24 मैं तुम से सच कहता हूँ कि जो मेरा कलाम सुनता और मेरे भेजने वाले का यक़ीन करता है, हमेशा की ज़िन्दगी उसकी है और उस पर सज़ा का हुक्म नहीं होता बल्कि वो मौत से निकलकर ज़िन्दगी में दाख़िल हो गया है।” (aiōnios g166)
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my word, (logos) and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (aiōnios g166)
25 “मैं तुम से सच सच कहता हूँ कि वो वक़्त आता है बल्कि अभी है, कि मुर्दे ख़ुदा के बेटे की आवाज़ सुनेंगे और जो सुनेंगे वो जिएँगे।
Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.
26 क्यूँकि जिस तरह बाप अपने आप में ज़िन्दगी रखता है, उसी तरह उसने बेटे को भी ये बख़्शा कि अपने आप में ज़िन्दगी रख्खे।
For as the Father has life in himself; so has he given to the Son to have life in himself;
27 बल्कि उसे 'अदालत करने का भी इख़्तियार बख़्शा, इसलिए कि वो आदमज़ाद है।
And has given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.
28 इससे ता'अज्जुब न करो; क्यूँकि वो वक़्त आता है कि जितने क़ब्रों में हैं उसकी आवाज़ सुनकर निकलेंगे,
Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 जिन्होंने नेकी की है ज़िन्दगी की क़यामत, के वास्ते, और जिन्होंने बदी की है सज़ा की क़यामत के वास्ते।”
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
30 “मैं अपने आप से कुछ नहीं कर सकता; जैसा सुनता हूँ 'अदालत करता हूँ और मेरी 'अदालत रास्त है, क्यूँकि मैं अपनी मर्ज़ी नहीं बल्कि अपने भेजने वाले की मर्ज़ी चाहता हूँ।
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which has sent me.
31 अगर मैं ख़ुद अपनी गवाही दूँ, तो मेरी गवाही सच्ची नहीं।
If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.
32 एक और है जो मेरी गवाही देता है, और मैं जानता हूँ कि मेरी गवाही जो वो देता है सच्ची है।
There is another that bears witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesses of me is true.
33 तुम ने युहन्ना के पास पयाम भेजा, और उसने सच्चाई की गवाही दी है।
All of you sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.
34 लेकिन मैं अपनी निस्बत इंसान की गवाही मंज़ूर नहीं करता, तोभी मैं ये बातें इसलिए कहता हूँ कि तुम नजात पाओ।
But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that all of you might be saved.
35 वो जलता और चमकता हुआ चराग़ था, और तुम को कुछ 'अर्से तक उसकी रौशनी में ख़ुश रहना मंज़ूर हुआ।
He was a burning and a shining light: and all of you were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.
36 लेकिन मेरे पास जो गवाही है वो युहन्ना की गवाही से बड़ी है, क्यूँकि जो काम बाप ने मुझे पूरे करने को दिए, या'नी यही काम जो मैं करता हूँ, वो मेरे गवाह हैं कि बाप ने मुझे भेजा है।
But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father has given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father has sent me.
37 और बाप जिसने मुझे भेजा है, उसी ने मेरी गवाही दी है। तुम ने न कभी उसकी आवाज़ सुनी है और न उसकी सूरत देखी;
And the Father himself, which has sent me, has borne witness of me. All of you have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
38 और उस के कलाम को अपने दिलों में क़ाईम नहीं रखते, क्यूँकि जिसे उसने भेजा है उसका यक़ीन नहीं करते।
And all of you have not his word (logos) abiding in you: for whom he has sent, him all of you believe not.
39 तुम किताब — ए — मुक़द्दस में ढूँडते हो, क्यूँकि समझते हो कि उसमें हमेशा की ज़िन्दगी तुम्हें मिलती है, और ये वो है जो मेरी गवाही देती है; (aiōnios g166)
Search the scriptures; for in them all of you think all of you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. (aiōnios g166)
40 फिर भी तुम ज़िन्दगी पाने के लिए मेरे पास आना नहीं चाहते।
And all of you will not come to me, that all of you might have life.
41 मैं आदमियों से 'इज़्ज़त नहीं चाहता।
I receive not honour from men.
42 लेकिन मैं तुमको जानता हूँ कि तुम में ख़ुदा की मुहब्बत नहीं।
But I know you, that all of you have not the love (agape) of God in you.
43 मैं अपने आसमानी बाप के नाम से आया हूँ और तुम मुझे क़ुबूल नहीं करते, अगर कोई और अपने ही नाम से आए तो उसे क़ुबूल कर लोगे।
I am come in my Father's name, and all of you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him all of you will receive.
44 तुम जो एक दूसरे से 'इज़्ज़त चाहते हो और वो 'इज़्ज़त जो ख़ुदा — ए — वाहिद की तरफ़ से होती है नहीं चाहते, क्यूँकर ईमान ला सकते हो?
How can all of you believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that comes from God only?
45 ये न समझो कि मैं बाप से तुम्हारी शिकायत करूँगा; तुम्हारी शिकायत करनेवाला तो है, या'नी मूसा जिस पर तुम ने उम्मीद लगा रख्खी है।
Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuses you, even Moses, in whom all of you trust.
46 क्यूँकि अगर तुम मूसा का यक़ीन करते तो मेरा भी यक़ीन करते, इसलिए कि उसने मेरे हक़ में लिखा है।
For had all of you believed Moses, all of you would have believed me; for he wrote of me.
47 लेकिन जब तुम उसके लिखे हुए का यक़ीन नहीं करते, तो मेरी बात का क्यूँकर यक़ीन करोगे?”
But if all of you believe not his writings, how shall all of you believe my words? (rhema)
