Псалми 27
1 Давидів.
A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 Коли будуть зближа́тись до ме́не злочи́нці, щоб жерти їм тіло моє, мої напасники́ та мої вороги, — вони спотикну́ться й попа́дають!
When the wicked, even my enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 коли проти мене розло́житься та́бір, то серце моє не злякається, коли проти мене повста́не війна, — я наді́ятись буду на те́, — на по́міч Його́!
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
4 Одно́го прошу́ я від Господа, буду жадати того́, — щоб я міг пробува́ти в Господньому домі по всі дні свого життя, щоб я міг оглядати Господню приємність і в храмі Його пробува́ти!
One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
5 бо Він заховає мене дня нещастя в Своїй ски́нії, сховає мене потає́мно в Своєму наме́ті, на скелю мене проведе́!
For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
6 А тепер піднесе́ться моя голова понад ворогами моїми навко́ло мене, і я в Його ски́нії буду прино́сити жертви при ві́дзвуках сурм, і я буду співати та грати Господе́ві!
And now shall my head be lifted above my enemies around me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises to the LORD.
7 Почуй, Господи, голос мій, коли кли́чу, і помилуй мене, і озви́ся до мене!
Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8 За Тебе промовило серце моє: „Шукайте Мого лиця!“тому, Господи, буду шукати обличчя Твого́:
When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said to thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
9 не ховай же від мене обличчя Свого́, у гніві Свого раба не відкинь! Ти був мені по́міч, — не кидай мене, і не лишай мене, Боже спасі́ння мого,
Hide not thy face from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10 бо мій батько та мати моя мене кинули, — та Господь прийме́ мене!
When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
11 Дорогу Свою покажи мені, Господи, і провадь мене сте́жкою рівною, ради моїх ворогів!
Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of my enemies.
12 Не видай мене на сваво́лю моїх ворогів, бо повстали на мене ті свідки облу́дні та неправдомо́вці,
Deliver me not over to the will of my enemies: for false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
13 немов би не вірував я, що в країні життя я побачу Господнє добро́!
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
14 Наді́йся на Господа, будь си́льний, і хай буде міцне́ твоє серце, і надійся на Господа!
Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thy heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
