Осія 14
1 Вернися, Ізраїлю, до Господа, Бога свого́, бо спіткну́вся ти через провину свою́!
Israel, return to YHWH your God; for you have fallen because of your sin.
2 Візьміть із собою слова́, та й зверні́ться до Господа, до Нього промовте: „Прости́ нам усяку провину, та добре прийми, і ми принесе́мо у жертву плода́ своїх уст!
Take words with you, and return to YHWH. Tell him, "Forgive all our sins, and accept that which is good, and we will offer the fruit of our lips.
3 Ашшу́р не спасе нас, не бу́демо їздити ми на коні́, і не скажемо вже чи́нові рук наших: боже наш, бо тільки Тобою помилуваний сирота́“.
Assyria can't save us. We won't ride on horses; neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, 'Our gods.' for in you the fatherless finds mercy."
4 „Ворохо́бність їхню вилікую, доброві́льно любитиму їх, бо Мій гнів відверну́вся від нього.
"I will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from him.
5 Я буду Ізраїлеві, як роса́, розцвіте́ він, неначе ліле́я, і пустить корі́ння своє, мов Ліва́н.
I will be like the dew to Israel. He will blossom like the lily, and send down his roots like Lebanon.
6 Розійду́ться його пагінці́, і буде його пишнота́, мов оли́вне те дерево, а па́хощ його — мов Ліва́н.
His branches will spread, and his beauty will be like the olive tree, and his fragrance like Lebanon.
7 Наве́рнуться ті, що сиділи під ті́нню його́, збіжжя ожи́влять вони й зацвіту́ть, немов той виногра́д, будуть згадки про нього, немов про ліва́нське вино́.
They will return and dwell in his shade. They will live and be abundantly satisfied with grain, and blossom like the vine. Their fragrance will be like the wine of Lebanon.
8 Єфрем, — що йому до бовва́нів іще? Я вислухав вже та побачив його, Я для нього немов кипари́с той зелений: з Мене зна́йдений бу́де твій плід“.
Ephraim, what have I to do any more with idols? I answer, and will take care of him. I am like a green fir tree; from me your fruit is found."
9 Хто мудрий, то це зрозумі́є, розумний — і пізна́є, бо про́сті Господні доро́ги, і праведні ходять по них, а грішні спіткну́ться на них!
Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who is prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of YHWH are right, and the righteous walk in them; But the rebellious stumble in them.
