1 Ko e Hiva pe ko e Saame ʻa Tevita. ‌ʻE ʻOtua, kuo maʻu hoku loto; te u hiva mo ʻatu ʻae fakamālō ʻaki hoku nāunau.
A Song. A Psalm by David. My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul.
2 Ke ʻā hake ʻae saliteli mo e haʻape: te u ʻa hengihengi hake pe au.
Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn.
3 ‌ʻE Sihova, te u fakamālō kiate koe ʻi he ʻao ʻoe kakai: pea te u hiva fakamālō kiate koe ʻi he ngaahi puleʻanga.
I will give thanks to you, LORD, amongst the nations. I will sing praises to you amongst the peoples.
4 He ʻoku lahi hoʻo ʻaloʻofa ʻo māʻolunga hake ʻi he ngaahi langi: mo hoʻo moʻoni ʻoku aʻu atu ki he ngaahi ʻao.
For your loving kindness is great above the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
5 ‌ʻE ʻOtua, ke māʻolunga lahi hake koe ʻi he ngaahi langi: pea ke māʻolunga hake ho nāunau ʻi māmani kotoa pē;
Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth.
6 Koeʻuhi ke hao ʻaia ʻoku ke ʻofa ai ke ke fakamoʻui ʻaki ho nima toʻomataʻu, ʻo talia au.
That your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand, and answer us.
7 Kuo folofola ʻae ʻOtua ʻi heʻene māʻoniʻoni; te u fiefia, “Te u vaeua ʻa Sikemi, ʻo fuofua ʻae luo ʻo Sukote.
God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph, I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.
8 ‌ʻOku ʻoʻoku ʻa Kiliati; ʻoku ʻoʻoku mo Manase; ko hono mālohi foki ʻo hoku ʻulu ʻa ʻIfalemi; ko ʻeku fai fono ʻa Siuta.
Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is my helmet. Judah is my sceptre.
9 Ko ʻeku ipu kaukauʻanga ʻa Moape; te u lī hoku topuvaʻe ki ʻolunga ki ʻItomi; te u vikiviki koeʻuhi ko Filisitia.”
Moab is my wash pot. I will toss my sandal on Edom. I will shout over Philistia.”
10 Ko hai te ne ʻomi au ki he kolo mālohi? Ko hai te ne aʻutaki au ki ʻItomi?
Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
11 ‌ʻE ʻOtua, ʻe ʻikai, te ke fai ia, ʻa koe kuo ke liʻaki ʻakimautolu? Pea ʻikai te ke ʻalu atu, ʻE ʻOtua, mo ʻemau ngaahi kautau?
Haven’t you rejected us, God? You don’t go out, God, with our armies.
12 Ke ke tuku kiate kimautolu ʻae tokoni ʻi he mamahi: he ʻoku taʻeʻaonga ʻae tokoni ʻae tangata.
Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain.
13 Ko e meʻa ʻi he ʻOtua te tau fai mālohi ai: he ko ia ia te ne malaki hifo hotau ngaahi fili.
Through God, we will do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our enemies.
