1 Pea naʻe toki ʻunuʻunu mai ʻae ngaahi ʻeiki ʻoe mātuʻa ʻoe kau Livai kia ʻEliesa ko e taulaʻeiki, pea kia Siosiua ko e foha ʻo Nuni, pea ki he ngaahi ʻeiki ʻoe kau mātuʻa ʻoe ngaahi faʻahinga ʻoe fānau ʻa ʻIsileli;
Then the heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites came near to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of fathers’ houses of the tribes of the children of Israel.
2 Pea naʻa nau lea kiate kinautolu ʻi Sailo ʻi he fonua ko Kēnani, ʻo pehē, “Naʻe fekau ʻe Sihova ʻi he nima ʻo Mōsese ke foaki kiate kimautolu ʻae ngaahi kolo ke mau nofo ai, mo e ngaahi potu takatakai ʻi ai ki heʻemau fanga manu.”
They spoke to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying, “Yahweh commanded through Moses to give us cities to dwell in, with their pasture lands for our livestock.”
3 Pea naʻe foaki ʻe he fānau ʻa ʻIsileli ki he kau Livai mei honau tofiʻa, ʻi he fekau ʻa Sihova, ʻae ngaahi kolo ni mo honau ngaahi potu takatakai.
The children of Israel gave to the Levites out of their inheritance, according to the commandment of Yahweh, these cities with their pasture lands.
4 Pea naʻe tō mai ʻae talotalo ki he ngaahi faʻahinga ʻoe kau Kohate: pea ko e fānau ʻa ʻElone ko e taulaʻeiki, ʻaia naʻe ʻi he kau Livai, naʻe maʻu ʻae tofiʻa ʻi he talotalo mei he faʻahinga ʻo Siuta, pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Penisimani, ʻae kolo ʻe hongofulu ma tolu.
The lot came out for the families of the Kohathites. The children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, had thirteen cities by lot out of the tribe of Judah, out of the tribe of the Simeonites, and out of the tribe of Benjamin.
5 Pea ko hono toe ʻoe fānau ʻa Kohate naʻa nau maʻu ʻi he talotalo ʻae tofiʻa mei he ngaahi fale ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo ʻIfalemi, pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Tani, pea mei he vaeuaʻanga ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo Manase, ʻae kolo ʻe hongofulu.
The rest of the children of Kohath had ten cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim, out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh.
6 Pea ko e fānau ʻa Kesoni naʻa nau maʻu ʻi he talotalo ʻae tofiʻa mei he ngaahi fale ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo ʻIsaka, pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo ʻAseli, pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Nafitali, pea mei hono vaeuaʻanga ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo Manase ʻi Pesani, ʻae kolo ʻe hongofulu ma tolu.
The children of Gershon had thirteen cities by lot out of the families of the tribe of Issachar, out of the tribe of Asher, out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
7 Ko e fānau ʻa Melali ʻi honau ngaahi faʻahinga naʻa nau maʻu mei he faʻahinga ʻo Lupeni, pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Kata, pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Sepuloni, ʻae kolo ʻe hongofulu ma ua.
The children of Merari according to their families had twelve cities out of the tribe of Reuben, out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun.
8 Pea naʻe foaki ʻi he talotalo ʻe he fānau ʻa ʻIsileli ʻae ngaahi kolo ni mo honau ngaahi potu takatakai ki he kau Livai, ʻo hangē ko e fekau ʻa Sihova ʻi he nima ʻo Mōsese.
The children of Israel gave these cities with their pasture lands by lot to the Levites, as Yahweh commanded by Moses.
9 Pea naʻa nau foaki mei he faʻahinga ʻoe fānau ʻa Siuta, pea mei he faʻahinga ʻoe fānau ʻa Simione, ʻae ngaahi kolo ni ʻaia ʻoku lau honau hingoa,
They gave out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, these cities which are mentioned by name:
10 ‌ʻAia naʻe maʻu ʻe he fānau ʻe ʻElone, he naʻa nau ʻoe kau Kohate, ʻaia naʻe ʻi he fānau ʻa Livai: he ko e ʻuluaki tufakanga naʻe ʻonautolu.
and they were for the children of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi; for theirs was the first lot.

19 Ko e ngaahi kolo kotoa pē ʻae fānau ʻa ʻElone, ko e kau taulaʻeiki, ko e kolo ʻe hongofulu ma tolu mo honau ngaahi tuaʻā kolo.
All the cities of the children of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities with their pasture lands.
20 Pea ko e ngaahi faʻahinga ʻoe fānau ʻa Kohate, ko e kau Livai naʻe toe ʻi he fānau ʻa Kohate, naʻe maʻu ʻekinautolu ʻae ngaahi kolo ko honau tofiʻa mei he faʻahinga ʻo ʻIfalemi.
The families of the children of Kohath, the Levites, even the rest of the children of Kohath, had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of Ephraim.

Out of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach with its pasture lands, and Gath Rimmon with its pasture lands: two cities.
26 Ko e ngaahi kolo kotoa pē mo honau ngaahi tuaʻā kolo ki he ngaahi faʻahinga ʻoe fānau ʻa Kohate naʻe toe, naʻe hongofulu.
All the cities of the families of the rest of the children of Kohath were ten with their pasture lands.
27 Pea naʻa nau foaki ki he fānau ʻa Kesoni, ʻi he faʻahinga ʻoe kau Livai, mei hono potu ʻe taha ʻoe faʻahinga ʻo Manase, ʻa Kolani ʻi Pesani mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, ko e kolo hūfanga ki he tāmate faainoa mo Pesitila mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia ko e kolo ʻe ua.

32 Pea mei he faʻahinga ʻo Nafitali, ko Ketesi ʻi Kāleli, mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, ko e kolo hūfanga ki he tāmate faainoa; mo Hemoti-Toa mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Matani mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia; ko e kolo ʻe tolu.
Out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, Hammothdor with its pasture lands, and Kartan with its pasture lands: three cities.

Out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead with its pasture lands, the city of refuge for the man slayer, and Mahanaim with its pasture lands,
39 Ko Hesiponi mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia, mo Sesa mo hono tuaʻā kolo ʻo ia; ko e kolo kotoa pē ʻe fā.
Heshbon with its pasture lands, Jazer with its pasture lands: four cities in all.
40 Ko ia ko e ngaahi kolo naʻe tō ʻi he talotalo ki he fānau ʻa Melali ʻi honau ngaahi faʻahinga, ʻaia naʻe toe ʻi he ngaahi faʻahinga ʻoe kau Livai, ko e kolo ʻe hongofulu ma ua.
All these were the cities of the children of Merari according to their families, even the rest of the families of the Levites. Their lot was twelve cities.
41 Ko e ngaahi kolo kotoa pē ʻoe kau Livai ʻi he tofiʻa ʻoe fānau ʻa ʻIsileli naʻe fāngofulu ma valu mo honau ngaahi tuaʻā kolo.
All the cities of the Levites among the possessions of the children of Israel were forty-eight cities with their pasture lands.
42 Naʻe tuʻu ʻae ngaahi kolo ni taki taha mo honau tuaʻā kolo naʻe takatakai: naʻe pehē pe ʻae ngaahi kolo ni kotoa pē.
Each of these cities included their pasture lands around them. It was this way with all these cities.
43 Pea naʻe foaki ʻe Sihova ki ʻIsileli ʻae fonua kotoa pē naʻa ne fuakava ke foaki ki heʻenau ngaahi tamai: pea naʻa nau maʻu ia, ʻo nofo ai.
So Yahweh gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers. They possessed it, and lived in it.
44 Pea naʻe foaki ʻe Sihova kiate kinautolu ʻae mālōlō ʻi he potu kotoa pē, ʻo fakatatau ki heʻene fuakava ki heʻenau ngaahi tamai: pea naʻe ʻikai ha tangata ʻi honau ngaahi fili kotoa pē naʻe faʻa tuʻu ʻi honau ʻao: naʻe tukuange ʻe Sihova honau ngaahi fili kotoa pē ki honau nima.
Yahweh gave them rest all around, according to all that he swore to their fathers. Not a man of all their enemies stood before them. Yahweh delivered all their enemies into their hand.
45 Naʻe ʻikai liʻaki ha meʻa ʻe taha ʻi he meʻa lelei kotoa pē naʻe folofola ki ai ʻa Sihova ki he fale ʻo ʻIsileli; naʻe hoko kotoa pē.
Nothing failed of any good thing which Yahweh had spoken to the house of Israel. All came to pass.
