కీర్తనల~ గ్రంథము 147

1 ౧ యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి. మన దేవుడైన యెహోవాను కీర్తిస్తూ గానం చేయడం మంచిది. అది మనోహరం. స్తోత్రగానం చేయడం ఎంతైనా తగినది.

Alleluya. Herie ye the Lord, for the salm is good; heriyng be myrie, and fair to oure God.

2 ౨ యెరూషలేమును కట్టేవాడు యెహోవాయే. చెదరిపోయిన ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రజలను తిరిగి సమకూర్చేవాడు ఆయనే.

The Lord schal bilde Jerusalem; and schal gadere togidere the scateryngis of Israel.

3 ౩ గుండె చెదరిన వారిని బాగు చేసేవాడు, వాళ్ళ గాయాలు నయం చేసేవాడు ఆయనే.

Which Lord makith hool men contrit in herte; and byndith togidere the sorewes of hem.

4 ౪ ఆకాశంలో నక్షత్రాలను వాటి స్థానంలో ఆయనే నియమించాడు. వాటిన్నిటికీ పేర్లు పెట్టింది ఆయనే.

Which noumbrith the multitude of sterris; and clepith names to alle tho.

5 ౫ మన ప్రభువు గొప్పవాడు. ఆయన గొప్ప శక్తి సామర్ధ్యాలు గలవాడు. ఆయన జ్ఞానం అమితమైనది.

Oure Lord is greet, and his vertu is greet; and of his wisdom is no noumbre.

6 ౬ యెహోవా దీన స్థితిలో ఉన్నవారిని ఆదరిస్తాడు. ఆయన దుష్టులను నేలమట్టం చేస్తాడు.

The Lord takith vp mylde men; forsothe he makith low synneris `til to the erthe.

7 ౭ కృతజ్ఞతా స్తుతులతో యెహోవాను కీర్తించండి. తంతి వాయిద్యంతో మన దేవునికి స్తుతి గీతాలు పాడండి.

Bifore synge ye to the Lord in knoulechyng; seye ye salm to oure God in an harpe.

8 ౮ ఆయన ఆకాశాన్ని మేఘాలతో నింపుతాడు. భూమి కోసం వర్షం సిద్ధం చేస్తాడు. కొండల మీద గడ్డి మొలిపిస్తాడు.

Which hilith heuene with cloudis; and makith redi reyn to the erthe. Which bryngith forth hei in hillis; and eerbe to the seruice of men.

9 ౯ పశువులకు, అరుస్తూ ఉండే కాకి పిల్లలకు ఆయన ఆహారం అనుగ్రహిస్తాడు.

Which yyueth mete to her werk beestis; and to the briddys of crowis clepinge hym.

10 ౧౦ గుర్రాల బలం ఆయనకు సంతోషం కలిగించదు. మనుషుల శక్తి సామర్ధ్యాలను బట్టి ఆయనకు ఆనందం కలగదు.

He schal not haue wille in the strengthe of an hors; nether it schal be wel plesaunt to hym in the leggis of a man.

11 ౧౧ తన పట్ల భయభక్తులు ఉన్నవాళ్లంటే, తన అనుగ్రహం కోసం ఎదురు చూసే వాళ్ళంటే ఆయనకు ఆనందం.

It is wel plesaunt to the Lord on men that dreden hym; and in hem that hopen on his mercy.

12 ౧౨ యెరూషలేమా, యెహోవాను ఘనపరచు. సీయోనూ, నీ దేవుణ్ణి కీర్తించు.

Jerusalem, herie thou the Lord; Syon, herie thou thi God.

13 ౧౩ ఆయన నీ ద్వారబంధాల గడులు దిట్టం చేశాడు. మీ నివాసాల మధ్య మీ పిల్లలను ఆశీర్వదించాడు.

For he hath coumfortid the lockis of thi yatis; he hath blessid thi sones in thee.

14 ౧౪ నీ పొలిమేరల్లో శాంతి సమాధానాలు నిలిచి ఉండేలా చేసేది ఆయనే. నీకు ఆహారంగా మంచి గోదుమ పంటను ఇచ్చి నిన్ను తృప్తిపరచేవాడు ఆయనే.

Which hath set thi coostis pees; and fillith thee with the fatnesse of wheete.

15 ౧౫ భూమికి ఆజ్ఞ జారీ చేసేవాడు ఆయనే. ఆయన వాక్కు భూమిపై చాలా వేగంగా పరుగెత్తుకుంటూ వెళ్తుంది.

Which sendith out his speche to the erthe; his word renneth swiftli.

16 ౧౬ గొర్రెబొచ్చు లాంటి తెల్లని మంచు కురిపించేవాడు ఆయనే. బూడిదలాంటి మంచు ముద్దలు చల్లేవాడు ఆయనే.

Which yyueth snow as wolle; spredith abrood a cloude as aische.

17 ౧౭ వడగళ్ళు ముక్కలు ముక్కలుగా నేలపై విసిరేది ఆయనే. ఆయన చలి పుట్టించినప్పుడు ఎవరు తట్టుకోగలరు?

He sendith his cristal as mussels; who schal suffre bifore the face of his cooldnesse?

18 ౧౮ ఆయన ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చినప్పుడు అవన్నీ కరిగిపోతాయి. ఆయన తన గాలి వీచేలా చేస్తే నీళ్లు ప్రవహిస్తాయి.

He schal sende out his word, and schal melte tho; his spirit schal blowe, and watris schulen flowe.

19 ౧౯ తన వాక్కును యాకోబుకు తెలియజేశాడు. తన నియమనిబంధనలు, న్యాయ నిర్ణయాలు ఇశ్రాయేలుకు తెలియజేశాడు.

Which tellith his word to Jacob; and hise riytfulnessis and domes to Israel.

20 ౨౦ మరి ఏ జనాంగం విషయంలోనూ ఆయన ఇలా చెయ్య లేదు. అయినా ఆయన న్యాయ నిర్ణయాలు వాళ్ళు గ్రహించలేదు. యెహోవాను స్తుతించండి.

He dide not so to ech nacioun; and he schewide not hise domes to hem.
