యోబు~ గ్రంథము 34

1 ౧ అప్పుడు ఎలీహు మళ్ళీ ఇలా చెప్పసాగాడు.

Moreover Elihu answered,

2 ౨ జ్ఞానులారా, నా మాటలు వినండి. అనుభవశాలులారా, వినండి.

"Hear my words, you sages. Give ear to me, you who have knowledge.

3 ౩ అంగిలి ఆహారాన్ని రుచి చూసినట్టు చెవి మాటలను పరీక్షిస్తుంది.

For the ear tries words, as the palate tastes food.

4 ౪ న్యాయమైనదేదో విచారించి చూద్దాం రండి. మేలైనదేదో మనంతట మనం విచారించి తెలుసుకుందాము రండి.

Let us choose for us that which is right. Let us know among ourselves what is good.

5 ౫ “నేను నీతిమంతుణ్ణి, దేవుడు నాకు అన్యాయం చేసాడు.

For Job has said, 'I am righteous, God has taken away my right:

6 ౬ నేను న్యాయవంతుడినైనా అబద్ధికునిగా చూస్తున్నారు. నేను తిరుగుబాటు చేయకపోయినా నాకు మానని గాయం కలిగింది” అని యోబు అంటున్నాడు.

Notwithstanding my right I am considered a liar. My wound is incurable, though I am without disobedience.'

7 ౭ యోబులాంటి మానవుడెవరు? అతడు మంచి నీళ్లవలె తిరస్కారాన్ని పానం చేస్తున్నాడు.

What man is like Job, who drinks scorn like water,

8 ౮ అతడు చెడుతనం చేసే వారికి మిత్రుడయ్యాడు. భక్తిహీనుల చెలికాడు అయ్యాడు.

Who goes in company with evildoers, and walks with wicked men?

9 ౯ మనుషులు దేవునితో సహవాసం చేయడం వారికేమాత్రం ప్రయోజనకరం కాదని అతడు చెప్పుకుంటున్నాడు.

For he has said, 'It profits a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.'

10 ౧౦ విజ్ఞానం గల మనుషులారా, నా మాట ఆలకించండి దేవుడు అన్యాయం చేయడం అసంభవం. సర్వశక్తుడు దుష్కార్యం చేయడం అసంభవం.

"Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness, from Shaddai, that he should commit iniquity.

11 ౧౧ మనుషుల క్రియలకు తగినట్టుగా ఆయన వారికి ప్రతిఫలం ఇస్తాడు అందరికీ ఎవరి మార్గాలను బట్టి వారికి ఫలమిస్తాడు.

For the work of a man he will render to him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

12 ౧౨ దేవుడు ఏ మాత్రం దుష్కార్యం చేయడు. సర్వశక్తుడు న్యాయం తప్పడు.

Yes surely, God will not do wickedly, neither will Shaddai pervert justice.

13 ౧౩ ఎవడైనా భూమిని ఆయనకు అప్పగింత పెట్టాడా? ఎవడైనా సర్వప్రపంచ భారాన్ని ఆయనకు అప్పగించాడా?

Who put him in charge of the earth? or who has appointed him over the whole world?

14 ౧౪ ఆయన తన మనస్సు తన దగ్గరే ఉంచుకున్నట్టయితే, తన ఆత్మను, ఊపిరినీ తన దగ్గరికి తిరిగి తీసుకుంటే,

If he set his heart on himself, If he gathered to himself his spirit and his breath,

15 ౧౫ శరీరులంతా ఒక్కపెట్టున నశిస్తారు. మనుషులు మళ్ళీ ధూళిగా మారిపోతారు.

all flesh would perish together, and man would turn again to dust.

16 ౧౬ కాబట్టి దీన్ని విని వివేచించు, నా మాటలు ఆలకించు.

"If now you have understanding, hear this. Listen to the voice of my words.

17 ౧౭ న్యాయాన్ని ద్వేషించేవాడు లోకాన్ని ఏలుతాడా? న్యాయసంపన్నునిపై నేరం మోపుతావా?

Shall even one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn him who is righteous and mighty?—

18 ౧౮ నువ్వు పనికిమాలిన వాడివని రాజుతోనైనా, మీరు దుష్టులని ప్రధానులతోనైనా అనవచ్చా?

Who says to a king, 'Vile.' or to nobles, 'Wicked.'?

19 ౧౯ రాజుల పట్ల పక్షపాతం చూపని వాడితో పేదలకన్నా ధనికులను ఎక్కువగా చూడని వాడితో అలా పలకవచ్చా? వారందరూ ఆయన నిర్మించినవారు కారా?

Who doesn't respect the persons of princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor; for they all are the work of his hands.

20 ౨౦ వారు నిమిషంలో చనిపోతారు. అర్థరాత్రి వేళ ప్రజలు కల్లోలం పాలై నాశనమౌతారు. బలవంతులను తీసుకు పోవడం జరుగుతుంది, అయితే అది మానవ హస్తాల వలన కాదు.

In a moment they die, even at midnight. The people are shaken and pass away. The mighty are taken away without a hand.

21 ౨౧ ఆయన దృష్టి మనుషుల మార్గాల మీద ఉంది. ఆయన వారి నడకలన్నీ కనిపెట్టి చూస్తున్నాడు.

"For his eyes are on the ways of a man. He sees all his goings.

22 ౨౨ చెడు కార్యాలు చేసే వారు దాక్కోడానికి చీకటైనా మరణాంధకారమైనా లేదు.

There is no darkness, nor thick gloom, where evildoers may hide themselves.

23 ౨౩ ఒక మనిషిని న్యాయవిమర్శలోకి తీసుకు రాక ముందు అతణ్ణి ఎక్కువ కాలం విచారణ చేయడం దేవుడికి అవసరం లేదు.

For he doesn't need to consider a man further, that he should go before God in judgment.

24 ౨౪ విచారణ లేకుండానే బలవంతులను ఆయన నిర్మూలం చేస్తున్నాడు. వారి స్థానంలో ఇతరులను నియమిస్తున్నాడు.

He breaks in pieces mighty men in ways past finding out, and sets others in their place.

25 ౨౫ వారి క్రియలను ఆయన తెలుసుకుంటున్నాడు. రాత్రివేళ ఇలాటి వారిని ఆయన కూలదోస్తాడు. వారు నాశనమై పోతారు.

Therefore he takes knowledge of their works. He overturns them in the night, so that they are destroyed.

26 ౨౬ అందరూ చూస్తుండగానే దుష్టులను వారి దుర్మార్గాన్ని బట్టి నేరస్తులను శిక్షించినట్టు ఆయన శిక్షిస్తాడు.

He strikes them as wicked men in the open sight of others;

27 ౨౭ ఎందుకంటే వారు ఆయనను అనుసరించడం మానుకున్నారు. ఆయన ఆజ్ఞల్లో దేన్నీ లక్ష్య పెట్టలేదు.

because they turned aside from following him, and wouldn't pay attention to any of his ways,

28 ౨౮ పేదల మొరను ఆయన దగ్గరికి వచ్చేలా చేశారు. దీనుల మొర ఆయనకు వినబడేలా చేశారు.

so that they caused the cry of the poor to come to him. He heard the cry of the afflicted.

29 ౨౯ ఆయన మౌనంగా ఉండిపోతే తీర్పు తీర్చగలవాడెవడు? ఆయన తన ముఖాన్ని దాచుకుంటే ఆయనను చూడగలవాడెవడు? ఆయన జాతులనైనా వ్యక్తులనైనా ఒకే విధంగా పరిపాలిస్తాడు.

When he gives quietness, who then can condemn? When he hides his face, who then can see him? Alike whether to a nation, or to a man,

30 ౩౦ భక్తిహీనులు రాజ్యపాలన చేయకుండా, వారు ప్రజలను ఇకపై చిక్కించుకోకుండా ఆయన చేస్తాడు.

that the godless man may not reign, that there be no one to ensnare the people.

31 ౩౧ ఒకడు “నేను దోషినే, కానీ ఇకపై పాపం చేయను.

"For has any said to God, 'I am guilty, but I will not offend any more.

32 ౩౨ నాకు తెలియని దాన్ని నాకు నేర్పించు. నేను పాపం చేశాను. ఇకపై చేయను” అని దేవునితో చెప్పాడనుకో,

Teach me that which I do not see. If I have done iniquity, I will do it no more'?

33 ౩౩ దేవుడు చేస్తున్నది నీకు నచ్చడం లేదు గనక అలాటి మనిషిని దేవుడు శిక్షిస్తాడు అనుకుంటున్నావా? నేను కాదు, నువ్వే నిశ్చయించుకోవాలి. కాబట్టి నీకు తెలిసినది చెప్పు.

Shall his recompense be as you desire, that you refuse it? For you must choose, and not I. Therefore speak what you know.

34 ౩౪ వివేచన గలవారు, జ్ఞానంతో నా మాట వినేవారు నాతో ఇలా అంటారు.

Men of understanding will tell me, yes, every wise man who hears me:

35 ౩౫ యోబు తెలివితక్కువ మాటలు పలుకుతున్నాడు. అతని మాటలు బుద్ధిహీనమైనవి.

'Job speaks without knowledge. His words are without wisdom.'

36 ౩౬ యోబు దుష్టులవలె మాట్లాడుతున్నాడు గనక అతనిపై సునిశితమైన విచారణ జరిగితే ఎంత బాగుంటుంది!

I wish that Job were tried to the end, because of his answering like wicked men.

37 ౩౭ అతడు తన పాపానికి తోడుగా ద్రోహం సమకూర్చుకుంటున్నాడు. మన ఎదుట ఎగతాళిగా చప్పట్లు కొట్టి దేవుని మీద కాని మాటలు కుప్పగా పోస్తున్నాడు.

For he adds rebellion to his sin. He claps his hands among us, and multiplies his words against God."
