யோபு 16
Then Job answered and said,
2 ௨ “இப்படிப்பட்ட அநேக காரியங்களை நான் கேட்டிருக்கிறேன்; நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் வேதனையுண்டாக்குகிற தேற்றரவாளர்.
I have heard many such things: miserable comforters [are] ye all.
Shall vain words have an end? or what emboldeneth thee that thou answerest?
4 ௪ உங்களைப்போல நானும் பேசமுடியும்; நான் இருக்கும் நிலைமையில் நீங்கள் இருந்தால், நான் உங்களுக்கு விரோதமாக வார்த்தைகளைக் கோர்த்து, உங்களுக்கு எதிரே என் தலையை ஆட்டவும் முடியும்.
I also could speak as ye [do]: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words against you, and shake my head at you.
5 ௫ ஆனாலும் நான் என் வாயினால் உங்களுக்கு தைரியம் சொல்லுவேன், என் உதடுகளின் அசைவு உங்கள் துக்கத்தை ஆற்றும்.
[But] I would strengthen you with my mouth and the moving of my lips should assuage [your grief].
Though I speak, my grief is not assuaged: and [though] I forbear, what am I eased?
But now he hath made me weary: thou hast made desolate all my company.
8 ௮ நீர் என்னைச் குறுகிப்போகச் செய்தது அதற்குச் சாட்சி; என் மெலிவு என்னில் அத்தாட்சியாக நின்று, என் முகத்திற்கு முன்பாக பதில் சொல்லும்.
And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, [which] is a witness [against me]: and my leanness rising up in me beareth witness to my face.
9 ௯ என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவனுடைய கோபம் என்னைக் காயப்படுத்துகிறது, என் மேல் கோபப்படுகிறான்; என் எதிரி தீய எண்ணத்தோடு என்னைப் பார்க்கிறான்.
He teareth [me] in his wrath, who hateth me: he gnasheth upon me with his teeth; my enemy sharpeneth his eyes upon me.
10 ௧0 எனக்கு விரோதமாகத் தங்கள் வாயை விரிவாகத் திறந்தார்கள்; இழிவாக என்னைக் கன்னத்தில் அடித்தார்கள்; என்னைச் சுற்றிலும் கூட்டங்கூடினார்கள்.
They have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek reproachfully; they have gathered themselves against me.
God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.
12 ௧௨ நான் சுகமாக வாழ்ந்திருந்தேன்; அவர் என்னை நெருக்கி, என் கழுத்தைப் பிடித்து, என்னை நொறுக்கி, என்னைத் தமக்கு குறியாக நிறுத்தினார்.
I was at ease, but he hath broken me asunder: he hath also taken [me] by my neck, and shaken me to pieces, and set me up for his mark.
13 ௧௩ அவருடைய வில்லாளர் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டார்கள்; என் சிறுநீரகத்தை விட்டுவிடாமல் பிளந்தார்; என் ஈரலைத் தரையில் ஊற்றிவிட்டார்.
His archers encompass me; he cleaveth my reins asunder, and doth not spare; he poureth out my gall upon the ground.
He breaketh me with breach upon breach, he runneth upon me like a giant.
15 ௧௫ நான் சணல்சேலையைத் தைத்து, என் தோளின்மேல் போர்த்துக்கொண்டேன்; என் மகிமையைப் புழுதியிலே போட்டுவிட்டேன்.
I have sewed sackcloth upon my skin, and defiled my horn in the dust.
My face is foul with weeping, and on my eyelids [are] the shades of death;
Not for [any] injustice in my hands: also my prayer [is] pure.
O earth, cover not thou my blood, and let my cry have no place.
19 ௧௯ இப்போதும் இதோ, என் சாட்சி பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிறது. எனக்குச் சாட்சி சொல்லுகிறவர் உன்னதங்களில் இருக்கிறார்.
Also now, behold, my witness [is] in heaven, and my record [is] on high.
My friends scorn me: [but] my eye poureth out [tears] to God.
21 ௨௧ ஒரு மனிதன் தன் நண்பனுக்காக வழக்காடுகிறதுபோல, தேவனுடன் மனிதனுக்காக வழக்காடுகிறவர் ஒருவர் இருந்தால் நலமாயிருக்கும்.
O that one might plead for a man with God, as a man [pleadeth] for his neighbor!
When a few years are come, then I shall go the way [whence] I shall not return.
