உபாகமம் 34

1 அதன்பின் மோசே, மோவாபின் சமபூமியிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு நேபோ மலையின்மேல் ஏறி, பிஸ்கா உச்சிக்குப் போனான். நேபோ மலை எரிகோவுக்கு எதிரே இருந்தது. அங்கே யெகோவா அந்த முழு நாட்டையும் அவனுக்குக் காண்பித்தார். யெகோவா அவனுக்கு தாண்வரைக்கும் உள்ள கீலேயாத் நாடு,

Then Moses went from the plaine of Moab vp into mount Nebo vnto the top of Pisgah that is ouer against Iericho: and the Lord shewed him all the land of Gilead, vnto Dan,

2 முழு நப்தலி நாடு, எப்பிராயீம், மனாசேயின் பிரதேசங்கள், மத்திய தரைக்கடல்வரை உள்ள முழு யூதாவின் நாடு,

And all Naphtali and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Iudah, vnto the vtmost sea:

3 தெற்கே, பேரீச்சமரங்களின் பட்டணமான எரிகோவின் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலிருந்து சோவார் வரையுள்ள முழுபிரதேசம் ஆகிய முழு நாட்டையும் காட்டினார்.

And the South, and the plaine of the valley of Iericho, the citie of palmetrees, vnto Zoar.

4 யெகோவா அவனிடம், “உங்கள் சந்ததிக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என ஆபிரகாம், ஈசாக்கு, யாக்கோபு ஆகியோருக்கு ஆணையிட்டு வாக்குக்கொடுத்த நாடு இதுவே. நான் உன் கண்களால் அதைக் காணும்படி அனுமதித்தேன். ஆனால் நீ அதற்குள் கடந்துசெல்லமாட்டாய்” என்றார்.

And the Lord said vnto him, This is the lande which I sware vnto Abraham, to Izhak and to Iaacob saying, I will giue it vnto thy seede: I haue caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not goe ouer thither.

5 யெகோவாவின் அடியவனான மோசே யெகோவா சொல்லியிருந்தபடியே மோவாப், நாட்டில் இறந்தான்.

So Moses the seruant of the Lord dyed there in the land of Moab, according to the worde of the Lord.

6 மோவாபிய நாட்டிலே பெத்பெயோருக்கு எதிரே உள்ள பள்ளத்தாக்கில் யெகோவா அவனை அடக்கம்பண்ணினார், ஆனால் இன்றுவரை அவனுடைய கல்லறை எங்கேயிருக்கிறது என ஒருவருக்கும் தெரியாது.

And hee buried him in a valley in the land of Moab ouer against Beth-peor, but no man knoweth of his sepulchre vnto this day.

7 இறக்கும்போது மோசேக்கு வயது நூற்று இருபது. ஆனாலும் அவன் கண்கள் மங்கிப்போகவுமில்லை. அவன் பெலன் குறையவுமில்லை.

Moses was nowe an hundreth and twentie yeere olde when hee died, his eye was not dimme, nor his naturall force abated.

8 இஸ்ரயேலர் மோவாப் சமபூமியிலே மோசேக்காக முப்பது நாட்கள் துக்கங்கொண்டாடினர். அந்த துக்கநாட்கள் முடியும்வரை அவர்கள் அங்கேயே தங்கியிருந்தனர்.

And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plaine of Moab thirtie dayes: so the dayes of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended.

9 இப்பொழுது நூனின் மகனான யோசுவாவின்மேல் மோசே தன் கைகளை வைத்தபடியால், அவன் ஞானத்தின் ஆவியால் நிரப்பப்பட்டிருந்தான். ஆகவே இஸ்ரயேலர் அவனுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, யெகோவா மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டிருந்ததை எல்லாம் செய்தார்கள்.

And Ioshua the sonne of Nun was full of ye spirit of wisedome: for Moses had put his hands vpon him. And the children of Israel were obedient vnto him, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.

10 இதற்கு பின்பு மோசேயைப்போல் யெகோவா முகமுகமாய் அறிந்திருந்த ஒரு இறைவாக்கினனும் இஸ்ரயேலில் தோன்றியதில்லை.

But there arose not a Prophet since in Israel like vnto Moses (whome the Lord knew face to face)

11 எகிப்திலே பார்வோனுக்கும், முழு அதிகாரிகளுக்கும், நாடு முழுவதற்கும் அற்புத அடையாளங்களையும், அதிசயங்களையும் செய்துகாண்பிக்கும்படி யெகோவா அவனை அனுப்பினார். அவனும் இவை எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்தான்.

In all ye miracles and wonders which ye Lord sent him to do in ye land of Egypt before Pharaoh and before all his seruantes, and before al his land,

12 ஏனெனில் இஸ்ரயேலர் காணத்தக்கதாக மோசே செய்ததுபோன்ற பெரும் வல்லமையும், பயங்கரமுமான செயல்களை ஒருவரும் ஒருபோதும் காண்பித்ததும் இல்லை, செய்ததும் இல்லை.

And in all that mightie hand and all that great feare, which Moses wrought in the sight of all Israel.
