2 சாமுவேல் 22
1 யெகோவா அவனை எல்லாப் பகைவரின் கைகளிலிருந்தும் சவுலின் கையிலிருந்தும் விடுவித்தபோது இப்பாடலின் வார்த்தைகளை தாவீது யெகோவாவுக்குப் பாடினான்.
And David spoke unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
2 அவன் சொன்னது: “யெகோவா என் கன்மலை, என் கோட்டை, என்னை விடுவிக்கிறவர்;
And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
3 என் இறைவன் நான் தஞ்சம் அடையும் என் கன்மலை, என் கேடயம், என் மீட்பின் கொம்பு. என் அரண், என் அடைக்கலம், நீர் என்னை வன்முறையாளர்களிடமிருந்து காப்பாற்றுகிற என் இரட்சகர்.
The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; you save me from violence.
4 “துதிக்கப்படத்தக்கவரான யெகோவாவை நோக்கி நான் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்; என் பகைவரிடமிருந்து நான் காப்பாற்றப்படுகிறேன்.
I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
5 மரண அலைகள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டன, அழிவின் அலைகள் என்னை அமிழ்த்திவிட்டன.
When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
6 பிரேதக் குழியின் கயிறுகள் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டன; மரணத்தின் கண்ணிகள் என்னை எதிர்த்து வந்தன. (Sheol h7585)
The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me; (Sheol h7585)
7 “என் துயரத்தில் நான் யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன். என் இறைவனை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன். அவர் தமது ஆலயத்திலிருந்து என் குரலைக் கேட்டார். என் அழுகுரல் அவர் செவிகளில் எட்டியது.
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
8 பூமி நடுங்கி அதிர்ந்து, வானத்தின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் அசைந்தன; அவர் கோபமடைந்ததால் அவை நடுங்கின.
Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was angry.
9 அவருடைய நாசியிலிருந்து புகை எழும்பிற்று; அவருடைய வாயிலிருந்து சுட்டெரிக்கும் நெருப்புப் புறப்பட்டது; நெருப்புத் தழல் அதிலிருந்து தெறித்தன.
There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
10 அவர் வானங்களைப் பிரித்து, கீழே இறங்கினார்; கார்மேகங்கள் அவருடைய பாதங்களின்கீழ் இருந்தன.
He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.
11 அவர் கேருபீனின்மேல் ஏறிப் பறந்தார்; அவர் காற்றின் சிறகுகளைக்கொண்டு பறந்தார்.
And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.
12 அவர் இருளைத் தன்னைச் சுற்றி ஒரு கூடாரமாக்கினார். வானத்தின் இருண்ட மழைமேகங்கள் அவரைச் சுற்றியிருந்தது.
And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.
13 அவரின் சமுகத்தின் பிரகாசத்திலிருந்து மின்னலின் தாக்குதல் வீசுண்டன.
Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.
14 யெகோவா வானத்திலிருந்து இடியை முழக்கினார்; மகா உன்னதமானவரின் குரல் எதிரொலித்தது.
The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.
15 அவர் தமது அம்புகளை எய்து பகைவரைச் சிதறடித்தார்; மின்னல் கீற்றுக்களை அனுப்பி, அவர்களை முறியடித்தார்.
And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and humiliated them.
16 யெகோவாவினுடைய நாசியிலிருந்து வந்த மூச்சின் தாக்கத்தாலும் அவரின் கண்டிப்பினாலும் கடல்களின் அடிப்பரப்பு வெளிப்பட்டன; பூமியின் அஸ்திபாரங்கள் வெளியே தெரிந்தன.
And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
17 “அவர் என்னை உயரத்திலிருந்து எட்டிப் பிடித்தார்; ஆழமான தண்ணீரிலிருந்து என்னை வெளியே தூக்கினார்.
He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
18 அவர் சக்திவாய்ந்த என் பகைவனிடமிருந்தும் என்னிலும் அதிகம் பலமான எதிரிகளிடமிருந்தும் என்னைத் தப்புவித்தார்.
He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.
19 அவர்கள் என்னுடைய பேராபத்தின் நாளிலே, எனக்கெதிராய் எழுந்தார்கள்; ஆனால் யெகோவா என் ஆதரவாயிருந்தார்.
They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
20 அவர் என்னை விசாலமான ஒரு இடத்திற்கு வெளியே கொண்டுவந்தார்; அவர் என்னில் பிரியமாய் இருந்தபடியால் என்னைத் தப்புவித்தார்.
He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
21 “யெகோவா என் நீதிக்கு ஏற்றபடி என்னை நடத்தியிருக்கிறார்; என் கைகளின் சுத்தத்திற்கு தக்கதாய், அவர் எனக்குப் பலனளித்திருக்கிறார்.
The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands has he recompensed me.
22 ஏனெனில் நான் யெகோவாவினுடைய வழிகளை கைக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்; என் இறைவனைவிட்டு விலகி நான் குற்றம் செய்யவில்லை.
For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
23 அவருடைய நீதிநெறிகள் அனைத்தும் எனக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கின்றன; அவருடைய விதிமுறைகளிலிருந்து நான் விலகவேயில்லை.
For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.
24 நான் அவருக்கு முன்பாக குற்றமற்றவனாக இருந்து, பாவத்திலிருந்து என்னை விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்.
I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity.
25 யெகோவா என் நீதிக்கு ஏற்றவாறு பலனளித்திருக்கிறார்; அவருடைய பார்வையில் நான் குற்றமற்றவனாயிருந்தேன்.
Therefore the LORD has recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.
26 “உண்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு நீர் உம்மை உண்மையுள்ளவராகவே காண்பிக்கிறீர்; உத்தமர்களுக்கு நீர் உம்மை உத்தமராகவே காண்பிக்கிறீர்.
With the merciful you will show yourself merciful, and with the upright man you will show yourself upright.
27 தூய்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்கு நீர் உம்மைத் தூய்மையுள்ளவராகவேக் காண்பிக்கிறீர்; ஆனால் கபடமுள்ளவர்களுக்கோ நீர் உம்மை விவேகமுள்ளவராய்க் காண்பிக்கிறீர்.
With the pure you will show yourself pure; and with the perverse you will show yourself unpleasing.
28 நீர் தாழ்மையுள்ளோரைக் காப்பாற்றுகிறீர்; ஆனால் உம்முடைய கண்கள் பெருமையுள்ளவர்களைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்தும்.
And the afflicted people you will save: but your eyes are upon the haughty, that you may bring them down.
29 யெகோவாவே, நீர் என் விளக்கு; யெகோவா என் இருளை வெளிச்சமாக்குகிறார்.
For you are my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
30 உமது உதவியுடன் என்னால் ஒரு படையை எதிர்த்து முன்னேற முடியும்; என் இறைவனுடன் ஒரு மதிலைத் தாண்டுவேன்.
For by you I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
31 “இறைவனுடைய வழி முழு நிறைவானது: யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தையோ குறைபாடற்றது; அவரிடத்தில் தஞ்சமடைவோர் அனைவருக்கும் அவர் கேடயமாயிருக்கிறார்.
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
32 யெகோவாவைத்தவிர இறைவன் யார்? நமது இறைவனேயல்லாமல் வேறு கன்மலை யார்?
For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?
33 இறைவன் எனக்கு பெலமுள்ள கோட்டையாய் இருந்து, என் வழியை குறைவற்றதாய் ஆக்குகிறார்.
God is my strength and power: and he makes my way perfect.
34 அவர் என் கால்களை மானின் கால்களைப் போல துரிதப்படுத்தி, உயர்ந்த இடங்களில் என்னை நிற்கப்பண்ணுகிறார்.
He makes my feet like hinds' feet: and sets me upon my high places.
35 யுத்தம் செய்ய என் கைகளைப் பயிற்றுவிக்கிறார்; என் கரங்களால் ஒரு வெண்கல வில்லையும் வளைக்க முடியும்.
He teaches my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
36 நீர் உமது இரட்சிப்பை எனக்கு கேடயமாகத் தந்தீர், உமது உதவி என்னைப் பெரியவனாக்குகிறது.
You have also given me the shield of your salvation: and your gentleness has made me great.
37 என் கணுக்கால்கள் புரளாதபடி, நான் நடக்கும் பாதையை நீர் அகலமாக்குகிறீர்.
You have enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
38 “நான் என் பகைவரை துரத்திச்சென்று, அவர்களை அழித்துப்போட்டேன்; அவர்கள் முற்றிலும் அழியும்வரை, நான் திரும்பி வரவில்லை.
I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
39 அவர்கள் எழுந்திருக்காதபடி நான் அவர்களை முழுவதும் நசுக்கினேன்; அவர்கள் என் காலடியில் விழுந்தார்கள்.
And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.
40 யுத்தம் செய்வதற்கான வல்லமையை நீர் எனக்குத் தரிப்பித்தீர்; என் எதிரிகளை எனக்கு முன்பாகத் தாழ்த்தினீர்.
For you have girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me have you subdued under me.
41 நீர் என் பகைவரை புறமுதுகிட்டு ஓடச்செய்தீர்; நான் அவர்களை அழித்தேன்.
You have also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
42 அவர்கள் உதவிகேட்டு கூப்பிட்டார்கள், ஆனால் அவர்களைக் காப்பாற்ற ஒருவருமே இருக்கவில்லை; யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள், அவரோ பதில் கொடுக்கவில்லை.
They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.
43 நான் அவர்களை அடித்துப் பூமியின் புழுதியைப்போலாக்கினேன்; நான் அவர்களை மிதித்து வீதியிலுள்ள சேற்றைப்போல் வெளியே வாரியெறிந்தேன்.
Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.
44 “நீர் மக்களின் தாக்குதல்களிலிருந்து என்னை விடுவித்திருக்கிறீர்; நாடுகளுக்கு என்னைத் தலைவனாக வைத்திருக்கிறீர். நான் அறியாத மக்கள் எனக்கு கீழ்ப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.
You also have delivered me from the strivings of my people, you have kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.
45 வேறுநாட்டைச் சேர்ந்தவரும் எனக்கு முன்பாக அடங்கி ஒடுங்குகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் என்னைக் குறித்துக் கேள்விப்பட்டவுடனே எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறார்கள்.
Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
46 அவர்கள் அனைவரும் மனந்தளர்ந்து, தங்கள் அரண்களிலிருந்து நடுக்கத்துடன் வருகிறார்கள்.
Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
47 “யெகோவா வாழ்கிறார்! என் கன்மலையானவருக்குத் துதி உண்டாவதாக! என் கன்மலையும் இரட்சகருமாகிய இறைவன் உயர்த்தப்படுவாராக!
The LORD lives; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
48 எனக்காகப் பழிவாங்கும் இறைவன் அவரே, நாடுகளை எனக்குக்கீழ் வைக்கிறவர் அவரே.
It is God that avenges me, and that brings down the people under me.
49 அவர் என்னை என் பகைவரிடமிருந்து விடுவித்தார். யெகோவாவே நீர் என்னை என் எதிரிகளுக்கு மேலாக உயர்த்தியிருக்கிறீர். என்னை வன்முறையாளர்களிடமிருந்து பாதுகாத்தீர்.
And that brings me forth from mine enemies: you also have lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: you have delivered me from the violent man.
50 ஆகையால் யெகோவாவே, நாடுகளுக்கு மத்தியில் நான் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; உமது பெயருக்குத் துதிகள் பாடுவேன்.
Therefore I will give thanks unto you, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto your name.
51 “அவர் தாம் ஏற்படுத்திய அரசனுக்கு மாபெரும் வெற்றிகளைக் கொடுக்கிறார்; அவர் தாம் அபிஷேகம் பண்ணின தாவீதுக்கும் அவனுடைய சந்ததிகளுக்கும் தமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பை என்றைக்கும் காண்பிக்கிறார்.”
He is the tower of salvation for his king: and shows mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
