Ezequiel 22

1 Y vino a mí la palabra del Señor, diciendo:

And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

2 Y tú, hijo de hombre, serás juez, ¿serás juez de la ciudad de sangre? Entonces déjale en claro todas sus formas repugnantes.

'And thou, son of man, dost thou judge? dost thou judge the city of blood? then thou hast caused it to know all its abominations,

3 Y tienes que decir: Esto es lo que ha dicho el Señor Dios: ¡Un pueblo que hace que la sangre se derrame en sus calles para que llegue su momento, y que hace imágenes contra ella para contaminarse!

and thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: The city is shedding blood in its midst, For the coming in of its time, And it hath made idols on it for defilement.

4 Eres responsable de la sangre derramada por ti, y eres impuro a través de las imágenes que has hecho; y has acercado tu día, y ha llegado la hora de tu juicio; Por esta causa te he hecho un nombre de vergüenza para las naciones y una causa de risa a todos los países.

By thy blood that thou hast shed thou hast been guilty, And by thine idols that thou hast made thou hast been defiled, And thou causest thy days to draw near, And art come in unto thine years, Therefore I have given thee a reproach to nations, And a derision to all the lands.

5 Las que están cerca y las que están lejos de ti se burlarán de ti; ciudad inmunda, estás llena de confusión.

The near and the far-off from thee scoff at thee, O defiled of name — abounding in trouble.

6 Mira, los gobernantes de Israel, de acuerdo con su poder, han estado causando la muerte en ti.

Lo, princes of Israel — each according to his arm Have been in thee to shed blood.

7 En ti no han tenido respeto por el padre y la madre; en ti han sido crueles con el hombre extranjero; en ti han hecho mal al huérfano y a la viuda.

Father and mother made light of in thee, To a sojourner they dealt oppressively in thy midst, Fatherless and widow they oppressed in thee.

8 Has menospreciado mi santuario, y has hecho mis sábados impuros.

My holy things thou hast despised, And My sabbaths thou hast polluted.

9 En ti hay hombres que dicen mal de los demás, causando muerte; En ti han comido en los santuarios de los lugares altos. En tus calles han puesto en práctica perversidades.

Men of slander have been in thee to shed blood, And on the mountains they have eaten in thee, Wickedness they have done in thy midst.

10 En ti dejaron ver la desnudez de su padre; en ti han hecho mal a una mujer en el momento de su menstruación.

The nakedness of a father hath one uncovered in thee, The defiled of impurity they humbled in thee.

11 Y en ti, un hombre ha hecho lo que era repugnante con la esposa de su prójimo; y otro ha dejado a su nuera inmunda; y otro le ha hecho mal a su hermana, la hija de su padre.

And each with the wife of his neighbour hath done abomination, And each his daughter-in-law hath defiled through wickedness, And each his sister, his father's daughter, hath humbled in thee.

12 En ti han tomado recompensas para derramar sangre; Ustedes han tomado interés y grandes ganancias, y han quitado los bienes de sus vecinos por la fuerza, y no me han tenido en cuenta, dice el Señor Dios.

A bribe they have taken in thee to shed blood, Usury and increase thou hast taken, And cuttest off thy neighbour by oppression, And Me thou hast forgotten, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!

13 Mira, entonces, herí mi mano en ira contra ti por tu avaricia y contra la sangre que ha estado fluyendo en ti.

And lo, I have smitten My hand, Because of thy dishonest gain that thou hast gained, And for thy blood that hath been in thy midst.

14 ¿Será tu corazón alto o tus manos fuertes en los días en que te tome en la mano? Yo, el Señor, lo he dicho y lo haré.

Doth thy heart stand — are thy hands strong, For the days that I am dealing with thee? I, Jehovah, have spoken and have done [it].

15 Y te enviaré en vuelo entre las naciones y vagando entre los países; y te quitaré por completo todo lo que es impuro.

And I have scattered thee among nations, And have spread thee out among lands, And consumed thy uncleanness out of thee.

16 Y serás humillado delante de los ojos de las naciones; y te será claro que yo soy el Señor.

And thou hast been polluted in thyself Before the eyes of nations, And thou hast known that I [am] Jehovah.'

17 Y vino a mí la palabra del Señor, diciendo:

And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying, 'Son of man,

18 Hijo de hombre, los hijos de Israel se han convertido para mí como el tipo de desecho de metal más pobre; plata, bronce, estaño, hierro y plomo mezclados con desperdicios.

The house of Israel hath been to Me for dross, All of them [are] brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, In the midst of a furnace — dross hath silver been,

19 Por esta causa, el Señor Dios ha dicho: Porque todos ustedes se han convertido en desechos de metal, vengan, los reuniré dentro de Jerusalén.

Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because of your all becoming dross, Therefore, lo, I am gathering you unto the midst of Jerusalem,

20 Mientras ponen plata, bronce, hierro y plomo y estaño juntos dentro del horno, calienta el fuego para fundirlos; así los juntaré en mi ira y en mi furor y los fundiré.

A gathering of silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, Unto the midst of a furnace — to blow on it fire, to melt it, So do I gather in Mine anger and in My fury, And I have let rest, and have melted you.

21 Sí, te llevaré, soplando sobre ustedes el fuego de mi ira, y te fundiré en medio de Jerusalén.

And I have heaped you up, And blown on you in the fire of My wrath, And ye have been melted in its midst.

22 A medida que la plata se funde en el horno, así se fundirán en él; y sabrán que yo, el Señor, he desatado mi furor por ustedes.

As the melting of silver in the midst of a furnace, So are ye melted in its midst, And ye have known that I, Jehovah, I have poured out My fury upon you.'

23 Y vino a mí la palabra del Señor, diciendo:

And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying:

24 Hijo de hombre, dile: Tú eres una tierra en la que no ha venido lluvia ni tormenta en el día de la ira.

'Son of man, say to it, Thou [art] a land, It [is] not cleansed nor rained on in a day of indignation.

25 Sus gobernantes en ella son como un león de voz alta que toma violentamente su comida; han hecho una comida de almas; se han apoderado de riquezas y bienes de valor; Han engrandecido el número de viudas en ella.

A conspiracy of its prophets [is] in its midst, as a roaring lion tearing prey; The soul they have devoured, Wealth and glory they have taken, Its widows have multiplied in its midst.

26 Sus sacerdotes han estado actuando violentamente contra mi ley; han hecho mis cosas sagradas inmundas: no han hecho ninguna división entre lo que es santo y lo que es común, y no han dejado en claro que lo impuro es diferente de lo limpio, y sus ojos han estado cerrados a mis sábados, y No soy honrado entre ellos.

Its priests have wronged My law, And they pollute My holy things, Between holy and common they have not made separation, And between the unclean and the clean they have not made known, And from my sabbaths they have hidden their eyes, And I am pierced in their midst.

27 Sus gobernantes en ella son como lobos que toman su comida violentamente; dan muerte a los hombres y causan la destrucción de las almas, para que puedan obtener ganancias injustas.

Its princes in its midst [are] as wolves, Tearing prey, to shed blood, to destroy souls, For the sake of gaining dishonest gain.

28 Y sus profetas han estado usando el blanqueo; viendo visiones tontas y haciendo un uso falso de las adivinaciones, diciendo: Esto es lo que el Señor ha dicho, cuando el Señor no ha dicho nada.

And its prophets have daubed for them with chalk, Seeing a vain thing, and divining for them a lie, Saying, 'Thus said the Lord Jehovah:' And Jehovah hath not spoken.

29 La gente de la tierra ha estado actuando cruelmente, tomando los bienes de los hombres por la fuerza; Han sido duros con los pobres y los necesitados, y han hecho mal a Los extranjeros.

The people of the land have used oppression, And have taken plunder violently away, And humble and needy have oppressed, And the sojourner oppressed — without judgment.

30 Y estaba buscando a un hombre entre ellos que hiciera el muro y tomará su posición en la brecha en el lugar roto delante de mí por la tierra, para que no pudiera enviar destrucción sobre ella, pero no había nadie.

And I seek of them a man making a fence, And standing in the breach before Me, In behalf of the land — not to destroy it, And I have not found.

31 Por eso he derramado mi furor en ellos, y los acabé con el fuego de mi ira: he puesto el castigo de sus acciones sobre sus cabezas, dice el Señor Dios.

And I pour out on them mine indignation, By fire of My wrath I have consumed them, Their way on their own head I have put, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'
