1 Crónicas 25

1 Además, David y los jefes de los siervos del lugar santo seleccionaron a algunos de los hijos de Asaf y de Hemán y de Jedutún para la obra de los profetas, para hacer melodías con arpas salterios y platillos; y el número de hombres para el trabajo que tenían que hacer era:

And David and the captains of the host set apart for service, unto the sons of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, such as should prophesy, with lyres, with harps, and with cymbals, —and, the number of the workers, for their service, was:

2 De los hijos de Asaf: Zacur, José, y Netanias y Asarela; bajo la dirección de Asaf, actuando como un profeta bajo las órdenes del rey;

Of the sons of Asaph, Zaccur and Joseph and Nethaniah and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph, —under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the direction of the king.

3 De Jedutún: los seis hijos de Jedutún, Gedalías y Zeri y Jesaias, Simei, Hasabias y Matatias; bajo la dirección de su padre Jedutún quien, actuando como un profeta, acompañado de arpa, alabó y glorificó al Señor.

Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun, —Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah—six, under the direction of their father Jeduthun, with the lyre, as he prophesied, in giving thanks and offering praise unto Yahweh.

4 Los hijos de Hemán: Buquias, Matanias, Uziel, Sebuel, Jeremot, Hananias, Hanani, Eliata, Gidalti y Romanti-ezer, Josbecaza, Maloti, Hotir, Mahaziot;

Of Heman, the sons of Heman—Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jeremoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth.

5 Todos estos fueron hijos de Hemán, profeta del rey en las palabras de Dios. Y para hacer grande su poder, Dios le dio a Hemán catorce hijos y tres hijas.

All these, were sons of Heman, the seer of the king in the things of God, at the lifting of the horn. And God gave to Heman, fourteen sons and three daughters,

6 Todos estos, bajo la dirección de su padre, hicieron música en la casa del Señor, con instrumentos de bronce y cuerdas, para la adoración de la casa de Dios; Asaf, Jedutún y Hemán están bajo las órdenes del rey.

All these, were under the direction of their father, in the singing of the house of Yahweh, with cymbals, harps and lyres, for the service of the house of God, —Asaph and Jeduthun and Heman, under the direction of the king.

7 Y el número de ellos, con sus hermanos que fueron entrenados y expertos en hacer melodías para el Señor, era de doscientos ochenta y ocho.

And, the number of them—with their brethren, who were instructed in singing unto Yahweh, —even all the skilful, was two hundred and eighty-eight.

8 Y se hizo una selección de ellos para su trabajo especial, todos con iguales oportunidades, tanto pequeños como excelentes, el maestro como aprendiz.

So they cast lots for their charges, all alike, as the small so the great, the teacher with the learner.

9 Ahora, del grupo de Asaf, el primer nombre que salió fue José; el segundo Gedalias; él y sus hermanos e hijos eran doce;

And the first lot came forth for Asaph, to Joseph, —Gedaliah, the second, he and his brethren and his sons, twelve.

10 El tercer Zacur, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The third, Zaccur, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

11 La cuarta Izri, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The fourth, to Izri, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

12 La quinta Netanias, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The fifth, Nethaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

13 El sexto Buquias, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The sixth, Bukkiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

14 El séptimo Jesarela, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The seventh, Jesharelah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

15 El octavo Jesahias, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The eighth, Jeshaiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

16 El noveno Matanías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The ninth, Mattaniah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

17 El décimo Simei, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The tenth, Shimei, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

18 El undécimo Azareel, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The eleventh, Azarel, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

19 El duodécimo Hasabias, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

The twelfth, to Hashabiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

20 El decimotercer Subael, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

As the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

21 La decimocuarta Matatías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

As the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

22 El decimoquinto Jeremot, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

As the fifteenth, to Jeremoth, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

23 La decimosexta Hananías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

As the sixteenth, to Hananiah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

24 El decimoséptimo Josbecasa, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

As the seventeenth, to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

25 La decimoctava Hanani, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

As the eighteenth, to Hanani, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

26 El decimonoveno Maloti, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

As the nineteenth, to Mallothi, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

27 La vigésima Eliata, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

As the twentieth, to Eliathah, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

28 El vigésimo primero Hotir, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

As the twenty-first, to Hothir, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

29 El vigésimo segundo Gidalti, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

As the twenty-second, to Giddalti, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

30 El vigésimo tercer Mahaziot, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

As the twenty-third, to Mahazioth, his sons and his brethren, twelve.

31 El vigésimo cuarto Romanti-ezer, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce.

As the twenty-fourth, to Romamti-ezer, his sons and his brethren, twelve.
