Marcos 16
1 Y COMO pasó el Sábado, María Magdalena, y María [madre] de Jacobo, y Salome, compraron [drogas] aromáticas, para venir á ungirle.
And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the [mother] of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2 Y muy de mañana, el primer [dia] de la semana, vienen al sepulcro, [ya] salido el sol.
And very early in the morning, the first [day] of the week, they came to the sepulcher at the rising of the sun:
3 Y decian entre sí: ¿Quién nos revolverá la piedra de la puerta del sepulcro?
And they said among themselves, Who shall roll away for us the stone from the door of the sepulcher?
4 Y como miraron, ven la piedra revuelta; que era muy grande.
(And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away) for it was very great.
5 Y entrados en el sepulcro, vieron un mancebo sentado al lado derecho, cubierto de una ropa larga blanca: y se espantaron.
And entering into the sepulcher, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were frightened.
6 Mas él les dice: No os asusteis: buscais á Jesus Nazareno, el que fué crucificado: resucitado ha; no está aquí: hé aquí el lugar en donde le pusieron.
And he saith to them, Be not frightened: ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him:
7 Mas id, decid á sus discípulos, y á Pedro, que él va ántes que vosotros á Galiléa: allí le veréis, como os dijo.
But go, tell his disciples and Peter, that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said to you.
8 Y ellas se fueron huyendo del sepulcro: porque las habia tomado temblor y espanto; ni decian nada á nadie, porque tenian miedo.
And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulcher; for they trembled, and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any [man]; for they were afraid.
9 (note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) Mas como Jesus resucito por la mañana, el primer [dia] de la semana, apareció primeramente á María Magdalena de la cual habia echado siete demonios.
(note: The most reliable and earliest manuscripts do not include Mark 16:9-20.) Now when [Jesus] was risen early, the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven demons.
10 Yendo ella, lo hizo saber á los que habian estado con él, [que estaban] tristes y llorando.
[And] she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 Y ellos como oyeron que vivia, y que habia sido visto de ella, no [lo] creyeron.
And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, believed not.
12 Mas despues apareció en otra forma á dos de ellos que iban caminando, yendo al campo.
After that, he appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking and going into the country.
13 Y ellos fueron y lo hicieron saber á los otros; y ni aun á ellos creyeron.
And they went and told [it] to the residue: neither believed they them.
14 Finalmente se apareció á los once mismos, estando sentados á la mesa, y censuróles su incredulidad, y dureza de corazon, que no hubiesen creido á los que le habian visto resucitado.
Afterward he appeared to the eleven, as they sat at table, and upbraided them with their unbelief, and hardness of heart, because they believed not them who had seen him after he was risen.
15 Y les dijo: Id por todo el mundo; predicad el Evangelio á toda criatura.
And he said to them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 El que creyere, y fuere bautizado, será salvo; mas el que no creyere, será condenado.
He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 Y estas señales seguirán á los que creyeren: En mi nombre echarán fuera demonios; hablarán nuevas lenguas;
And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak in new languages;
18 Quitarán serpientes: y si bebieren cosa mortífera, no les dañará: sobre los enfermos pondrán sus manos, y sanarán.
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 Y el Señor, despues que les habló fué recibido arriba en el cielo, y sentóse á la diestra de Dios.
So then after the Lord had spoken to them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 Y ellos, saliendo, predicaron en todas partes, obrando con ellos el Señor, y confirmando la palabra con las señales que se seguian.
And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with [them], and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
