Salmos 146

1 Alaba, o! alma mía, a Jehová.

Praise ye Jah! Praise, O my soul, Jehovah.

2 Alabaré a Jehová en mi vida: diré salmos a mi Dios mientras viviere.

I praise Jehovah during my life, I sing praise to my God while I exist.

3 No confiéis en los príncipes, ni en hijo de hombre; porque no hay en él salud.

Trust not in princes — in a son of man, For he hath no deliverance.

4 Saldrá su espíritu, volverse ha el hombre en su tierra: en aquel día perecerán sus pensamientos.

His spirit goeth forth, he returneth to his earth, In that day have his thoughts perished.

5 Bienaventurado aquel cuyo ayudador es el Dios de Jacob: cuya esperanza es en Jehová su Dios.

O the happiness of him Who hath the God of Jacob for his help, His hope [is] on Jehovah his God,

6 El que hizo los cielos y la tierra: la mar, y todo lo que en ello está: el que guarda verdad para siempre:

Making the heavens and earth, The sea and all that [is] in them, Who is keeping truth to the age,

7 El que hace derecho a los agraviados, el que da pan a los hambrientos: Jehová el que suelta a los aprisionados:

Doing judgment for the oppressed, Giving bread to the hungry.

8 Jehová es el que abre los ojos a los ciegos: Jehová el que ama a los justos:

Jehovah is loosing the prisoners, Jehovah is opening (the eyes of) the blind, Jehovah is raising the bowed down, Jehovah is loving the righteous,

9 Jehová el que guarda a los extranjeros: al huérfano y a la viuda levanta; y el camino de los impíos trastorna.

Jehovah is preserving the strangers, The fatherless and widow He causeth to stand, And the way of the wicked He turneth upside down.

10 Reinará Jehová para siempre: tu Dios, o! Sión, por generación y generación. Alelu- Jah.

Jehovah doth reign to the age, Thy God, O Zion, to generation and generation, Praise ye Jah!
