Isaías 52

1 Despiértate, despiértate: vístete tu fortaleza, o! Sión: vístete tus ropas de hermosura, o! Jerusalem, ciudad santa; porque nunca más acontecerá que venga en ti incircunciso, ni inmundo.

Awake, awake, Put on thy strength, O Zion, —Put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem—thou holy city, For there shall not again come into thee any more the uncircumcised and unclean.

2 Sacúdete del polvo, levántate, asiéntate Jerusalem: suéltate de las ataduras de tu cuello, cautiva hija de Sión.

Shake thyself from the dust arise—sit down O Jerusalem, —Loose thyself from the bonds of thy neck, O captive! daughter of Zion!

3 Porque así dice Jehová: De balde fuisteis vendidos, por tanto sin dinero seréis rescatados.

For, thus, saith Yahweh, For nought, ye sold yourselves, —And not with silver, shall ye be redeemed,

4 Porque así dijo el Señor Jehová: Mi pueblo descendió en Egipto en tiempo pasado, para peregrinar allá; y el Asur le cautivó sin razón.

For, thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, To Egypt, went down my people at first to sojourn there, —But, Assyria, without cause, hath oppressed him.

5 Y ahora, ¿Qué a mí aquí, dice Jehová, que mi pueblo sea tomado sin porqué; y los que en él se enseñorean, le hagan aullar, dice Jehová; y continuamente mi nombre sea blasfemado todo el día?

Now, therefore, what do I here? Demandeth Yahweh. That my people have been taken away for nought? They who rule them, do howl, Declareth Yahweh, And, continually—all the day, is my Name brought into contempt.

6 Por tanto mi pueblo sabrá mi nombre por esta causa en aquel día; porque yo mismo que hablo, he aquí, estaré presente.

Therefore, shall my people acknowledge my Name: Therefore, in that day, shall they acknowledge that, I, am the same, even I who am speaking, —Here, I am,

7 ¡Cuán hermosos son sobre los montes los pies del que trae alegres nuevas, del que publica la paz, del que trae nuevas del bien, del que publica salud, del que dice a Sión: Tu Dios reina!

How beautiful, upon the mountains are the feet—Of him That bringeth good tidings, That publisheth peace, That bringeth good tidings of blessing, That publisheth salvation, —That saith unto Zion, Thy God, hath become king.

8 Voz de tus atalayas: alzarán la voz, juntamente jubilarán; porque ojo a ojo verán, como torna Jehová a traer a Sión.

The voice of thy watchmen! They have uplifted a voice Together, do they renew the shout of triumph, —For eye to eye, shall they see, When Yahweh returneth to Zion.

9 Cantád alabanzas, alegráos juntamente, las soledades de Jerusalem: porque Jehová ha consolado su pueblo, ha redimido a Jerusalem.

Break forth, shout in triumph together, ye waste places of Jerusalem, —For Yahweh Hath comforted his people, Hath redeemed Jerusalem:

10 Jehová desnudó el brazo de su santidad delante de los ojos de todas las naciones; y todos los términos de la tierra verán la salud del Dios nuestro.

Yahweh hath bared his holy arm, in the eyes of all the nations, So shall all the ends of the earth see the salvation of our God.

11 Apartáos, apartáos, salíd de ahí; no toquéis cosa inmunda: salíd de en medio de ella: sed limpios los que lleváis los vasos de Jehová.

Away! away! come, forth from thence!—Nought unclean, may ye touch, —Come forth out of her midst, Purify yourselves, ye who are to carry the vessels of Yahweh;

12 Porque no saldréis apresurados, ni iréis huyendo; porque Jehová irá delante de vosotros, y el Dios de Israel os congregará,

For, not in haste, shall ye come forth, Nor, by flight, shall ye journey, —For, your van-guard, is Yahweh, And, your rear-guard, the God of Israel.

13 He aquí que mi siervo será prosperado, será engrandecido, y será ensalzado, y será muy sublimado.

Lo! my Servant, prospereth, —He riseth, and is lifted up, and becometh very high:

14 Como te abominaron muchos, en tanta manera fue desfigurado de los hombres su parecer; y su hermosura, de los hijos de los hombres:

The more that Many, were amazed at thee, So marred, beyond any man’s, was his appearance, —And his form, beyond the sons of men,

15 Así salpicará muchas naciones: los reyes cerrarán sobre él sus bocas: porque verán lo que nunca les fue contado; y entenderán lo que nunca oyeron.

The more doth he startle Many nations, Before him, have kings closed their mouth, —For, that which had not been related to them, have they seen, And that which they had not heard, haw they diligently considered.
