1 Crónicas 12
1 Estos son los que vinieron a David a Siceleg estando él aun encerrado por causa de Saul, hijo de Cis: y eran de los valientes, ayudadores de la guerra,
And these [are] those coming in unto David to Ziklag, while shut up because of Saul son of Kish, and they [are] among the mighty ones, helping the battle,
2 Armados de arcos, y usaban de ambas manos en tirar piedras con honda, y en tirar saetas con arco, de los hermanos de Saul, de Ben-jamín.
armed with bow, right and left handed, with stones, and with arrows, with bows, of the brethren of Saul, of Benjamin.
3 El principal era Ahiezer, y Joas, hijos de Samaa Gabaatita; y Jaziel, y Fallet, hijos de Azmot; y Baraca, y Jehú Anatotita.
The head [is] Ahiezer, and Joash, sons of Shemaab the Gibeathite, and Jeziel, and Pelet, sons of Azmaveth, and Berachah, and Jehu the Antothite,
4 Ítem, Ismaias Gabaonita, valiente entre los treinta, y más que los treinta. Y Jeremías, Jeheziel, Joanán, Jezabad Gaderotita,
and Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty one among the thirty, and over the thirty, and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Josabad the Gederathite.
5 Eluzai, y Jerimut, Baalias, Samarias y Safatias Harufita,
Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite;
6 Elcana, y Jesias, y Azarael, Joezer, y Jesbaam de Carehim;
Elkanah, and Jesiah, and Azareel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam the Korhites,
7 Ítem, Joela, y Zabadías, hijos de Jeroham de Gedor.
and Joelah, and Zebadiah, sons of Jeroham of Gedor.
8 Y también de los de Gad se huyeron algunos a David en la fortaleza en el desierto, valientes de fuerzas, y hombres de guerra para pelear, puestos en orden con escudo y pavés: sus rostros como rostros de leones, y ligeros como las cabras monteses.
And of the Gadite there have been separated unto David, to the fortress, to the wilderness, mighty of valour, men of the host for battle, setting in array target and buckler, and their faces the face of the lion, and as roes on the mountains for speed:
9 Eser era el capitán, Abdías el segundo, Eliab el tercero,
Ezer the head, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,
10 Masmana el cuatro, Jeremías el quinto,
Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,
11 Ethi el sexto, Eliel el séptimo,
Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
12 Joanán el octavo, Elzebad el nono,
Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
13 Jeremías el décimo, Macbaani el onceno.
Jeremiah the tenth, Machbannai the eleventh.
14 Estos fueron los capitanes del ejército de los hijos de Gad. El menor de ellos tenía cargo de cien hombres de guerra, y el mayor de mil.
These [are] of the sons of Gad, heads of the host, one of a hundred [is] the least, and the greatest, of a thousand;
15 Estos pasaron el Jordán en el mes primero, cuando había salido sobre todas sus riberas; e hicieron huir a todos los de los valles al oriente y al poniente.
these [are] they who have passed over the Jordan in the first month, — and it is full over all its banks — and cause all [they of] the valley to flee to the east and to the west.
16 Asimismo algunos de los hijos de Ben-jamín y de Judá vinieron a David a la fortaleza.
And there come of the sons of Benjamin and Judah unto the stronghold to David,
17 Y David salió a ellos, y hablóles diciendo: Si habéis venido a mí para paz y para ayudarme, mi corazón me será unido con vosotros: mas si para engañarme por mis enemigos, siendo mis manos sin iniquidad, véalo el Dios de nuestros padres, y argúyalo.
and David goeth out before them, and answereth and saith to them, 'If for peace ye have come in unto me, to help me, I have a heart to unite with you; and if to betray me to mine adversaries — without violence in my hands — the God of our fathers doth see and reprove.'
18 Entonces el espíritu se envistió en Amasai, príncipe de treinta, y dijo: Por ti, oh David, y contigo, oh hijo de Isaí. Paz, paz contigo, y paz con tus ayudadores; pues que también tu Dios te ayuda. Y David los recibió, y púsolos entre los capitanes de la cuadrilla.
And the Spirit hath clothed Amasai, head of the captains: 'To thee, O David, and with thee, O son of Jesse — peace! peace to thee, and peace to thy helper, for thy God hath helped thee;' and David receiveth them, and putteth them among the heads of the troop.
19 También se pasaron a David algunos de Manasés, cuando vino con los Filisteos a la batalla contra Saul, aunque no les ayudaron: porque los sátrapas de los Filisteos, habido consejo, le enviaron, diciendo: Con nuestras cabezas se pasará a su señor Saul.
And of Manasseh there have fallen unto David in his coming with the Philistines against Israel to battle — and they helped them not, for by counsel the princes of the Philistines sent him away, saying, 'With our heads he doth fall unto his master Saul.' —
20 Así que viniendo él a Siceleg se pasaron a él de los de Manasés, Ednas, Jozabad, Jedihiel, Micael, Jozabad, Eliud, y Salati, príncipes de millares de los de Manasés.
In his going unto Ziglag there have fallen unto him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zillthai, heads of the thousands that [are] of Manasseh;
21 Estos ayudaron a David contra aquella compañía: porque todos ellos eran valientes hombres, y fueron capitanes en el ejército.
and they have helped with David over the troop, for mighty of valour [are] all of them, and they are captains in the host,
22 Porque entonces todos los días venía ayuda a David, hasta que se hizo un grande ejército, como ejército de Dios.
for at that time, day by day, they come in unto David to help him, till it is a great camp, like a camp of God.
23 Y este es el número de los príncipes de los que estaban a punto de guerra, y vinieron a David en Hebrón, para traspasarle el reino de Saul, conforme a la palabra de Jehová.
And these [are] the numbers of the head, of the armed men of the host; they have come in unto David to Hebron to turn round the kingdom of Saul unto him, according to the mouth of Jehovah.
24 De los hijos de Judá que traían escudo y lanza, seis mil y ochocientos, a punto de guerra.
The sons of Judah, bearing target and spear, [are] six thousand and eight hundred, armed ones of the host.
25 De los hijos de Simeón valientes hombres de esfuerzo para la guerra, siete mil y ciento.
Of the sons of Simeon, mighty ones of valour for the host, [are] seven thousand and a hundred.
26 De los hijos de Leví, cuatro mil y seiscientos.
Of the sons of Levi [are] four thousand and six hundred;
27 Ítem, Joiada príncipe de Aarón, y con él tres mil y siete cientos.
and Jehoiada [is] the leader of the Aaronite, and with him [are] three thousand and seven hundred,
28 Y Sadoc, joven valiente de fuerzas, y de la familia de su padre, veinte y dos príncipes.
and Zadok, a young man, mighty of valour, and of the house of his father [are] twenty and two heads.
29 De los hijos de Ben-jamín hermanos de Saul, tres mil: porque aun en aquel tiempo muchos de ellos tenían la guarda de la casa de Saul.
And of the sons of Benjamin, brethren of Saul, [are] three thousand, and hitherto their greater part are keeping the charge of the house of Saul.
30 Y de los hijos de Efraím, veinte mil y ochocientos valientes de esfuerzo, varones ilustres en las casas de sus padres.
And of the sons of Ephraim [are] twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty of valour, men of name, according to the house of their fathers.
31 De la media tribu de Manasés, diez y ocho mil, los cuales fueron tomados por lista, para venir a poner a David por rey.
And of the half of the tribe of Manasseh [are] eighteen thousand, who have been defined by name, to come in to cause David to reign.
32 Ítem, de los hijos de Isacar, doscientos príncipes entendidos en los tiempos, y sabios de lo que Israel había de hacer; cuyo dicho seguían todos sus hermanos.
And of the sons of Issachar, having understanding for the times, to know what Israel should do; their heads [are] two hundred, and all their brethren [are] at their command.
33 Ítem, de Zabulón cincuenta mil, que salían en batalla a punto de guerra, con todas armas de guerra, aparejados a pelear sin doblez de corazón.
Of Zebulun, going forth to the host, arranging battle with all instruments of battle, [are] fifty thousand, and keeping rank without a double heart.
34 Ítem, de Neftalí mil príncipes, y con ellos treinta y siete mil con escudo y lanza.
And of Naphtali, a thousand heads, and with them, with target and spear, [are] thirty and seven thousand.
35 De los de Dan, dispuestos a pelear, veinte y ocho mil y seiscientos.
And of the Danite, arranging battle, [are] twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.
36 Ítem, de Aser, a punto de guerra, y aparejados a pelear, cuarenta mil.
And of Asher, going forth to the host, to arrange battle, [are] forty thousand.
37 Ítem, de la otra parte del Jordán, de los de Rubén, y de los de Gad, y de la media tribu de Manasés, ciento y veinte mil, con toda suerte de armas de guerra.
And from beyond the Jordan, of the Reubenite, and of the Gadite, and of the half of the tribe of Manasseh, with all instruments of the host for battle, [are] a hundred and twenty thousand.
38 Todos estos hombres de guerra a punto de guerra, vinieron con corazón perfecto a Hebrón, para poner a David por rey sobre todo Israel; y asimismo todos los demás de Israel tenían un corazón para poner a David por rey.
All these [are] men of war, keeping rank — with a perfect heart they have come to Hebron, to cause David to reign over all Israel, and also all the rest of Israel [are] of one heart, to cause David to reign,
39 Y estuvieron allí con David tres días, comiendo y bebiendo; porque sus hermanos les habían aparejado.
and they are there, with David, three days, eating and drinking, for their brethren have prepared for them.
40 Y asimismo los que les eran vecinos, hasta Isacar, y Zabulón, y Neftalí, trajeron pan en asnos, y camellos, y mulos, y bueyes; comida, y harina, masas de higos, y pasas, vino, y aceite, bueyes, y ovejas en abundancia: porque en Israel había alegría.
And also those near unto them, unto Issachar, and Zebulun, and Naphtali, are bringing in bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen — food of fine flour, fig-cakes and grape-cakes, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep, in abundance, for joy [is] in Israel.
