Ezequiel 27
1 La palabra de Yahvé volvió a dirigirse a mí, diciendo:
Again the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
2 “Tú, hijo de hombre, levanta un lamento sobre Tiro;
“Now you, son of man, begin a lamentation concerning Tyre,
3 y dile a Tiro: ‘Tú que habitas a la entrada del mar, que eres el mercader de los pueblos a muchas islas, el Señor Yahvé dice: “Tú, Tiro, has dicho, ‘Soy perfecto en belleza’.
and say to Tyre, who lives within the gates of the sea, merchants of peoples to many islands, the Lord Yahweh says this to you: Tyre, you have said, 'I am perfect in beauty.'
4 Sus fronteras están en el corazón de los mares. Tus constructores han perfeccionado tu belleza.
Your borders are in the heart of the seas; your builders have perfected your beauty.
5 Han hecho todas tus tablas de ciprés de Senir. Han tomado un cedro del Líbano para hacer un mástil para ti.
They have made all your planks with cypress from Mount Hermon; they took cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.
6 Han hecho tus remos de los robles de Basán. Han hecho tus bancos de marfil con incrustaciones de madera de ciprés de las islas de Kittim.
They made your oars from the oaks of Bashan; they made your decks out of cypress wood from Cyprus, and they overlaid them with ivory.
7 Tu vela era de lino fino con bordados de Egipto, que te sirva de estandarte. Azul y púrpura de las islas de Elishah era su toldo.
Your sails were made from colorful linen from Egypt that served as your banner; the colors of blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah are used for the awning on your boat.
8 Los habitantes de Sidón y de Arvad eran sus remeros. Tus sabios, Tiro, estaban en ti. Eran sus pilotos.
Those who were living in Sidon and Arvad were your rowers; the sages of Tyre were within you; they were your pilots.
9 Los ancianos de Gebal y sus sabios fueron sus reparadores de costuras de barcos en ti. Todas las naves del mar con sus marineros estaban en ti para comerciar con su mercancía.
Highly experienced craftsmen from Byblos filled your seams; all the ships of the sea and their sailors among you were carrying your merchandise for trade.
10 “‘“Persia, Lud y Put estaban en tu ejército, sus hombres de guerra. Colgaron el escudo y el casco en ti. Mostraron tu belleza.
Persia, Lydia, and Libya were in your army, your men of war. they hung shield and helmet within you; they showed your splendor.
11 Los hombres de Arvad con su ejército estaban en sus murallas por todas partes, y los hombres valientes estaban en sus torres. Colgaron sus escudos en sus paredes por todas partes. Han perfeccionado tu belleza.
The men of Arvad and Helek in your army were on your walls surrounding you, and the people of Gammad were in your towers. They hung up their shields on your walls all around you! They completed your beauty.
12 “‘“Tarsis era tu mercader por la multitud de toda clase de riquezas. Comerciaban por tus mercancías con plata, hierro, estaño y plomo.
Tarshish was a trading partner with you because of your abundant wealth of goods to sell: Silver, iron, tin, and lead. They bought and sold your wares!
13 “‘“Javan, Tubal y Meshech eran tus comerciantes. Ellos cambiaron las personas de los hombres y los recipientes de bronce por tus mercancías.
Javan, Tubal, and Meshech—they traded slaves and in items made of bronze. They handled your merchandise.
14 “‘“Los de la casa de Togarmah comerciaban con tus mercancías con caballos, caballos de guerra y mulas.
Beth Togarmah provided horses, stallions, and mules as your merchandise.
15 “‘“Los hombres de Dedán comerciaban contigo. Muchas islas fueron el mercado de tu mano. Te trajeron a cambio cuernos de marfil y ébano.
The men of Rhodes were your traders on many coasts. Merchandise was in your hand; they sent back horn, ivory, and ebony as tribute!
16 “‘“Siria fue tu mercader por la multitud de tus trabajos manuales. Ellos comerciaban por tus mercancías con esmeraldas, púrpura, bordados, lino fino, coral y rubíes.
Aram was a dealer in your many products; they provided emeralds, purple, colored cloth, fine fabric, pearls, and rubies as your merchandise.
17 “‘“Judá y la tierra de Israel fueron tus comerciantes. Comerciaban con el trigo de Minnith, los dulces, la miel, el aceite y el bálsamo por tus mercancías.
Judah and the land of Israel were trading with you. They provided wheat from Minnith, cakes, honey, oil, and balsam as your merchandise.
18 “‘“Damasco fue tu mercader por la multitud de tus obras, por la multitud de toda clase de riquezas, con el vino de Helbón y la lana blanca.
Damascus was a trader of all your products, of all your enormous wealth, and of the wine of Helbon and the wool of Zahar.
19 “‘“Vedan y Javan comerciaron con hilo para sus mercancías; el hierro forjado, la casia y el cálamo estaban entre sus mercancías.
Dan and Javan from Izal provided you with merchandise of wrought iron, cinnamon, and calamus. This became merchandise for you.
20 “‘“Dedán era tu mercader en preciosas mantas para montar a caballo.
Dedan was your dealer in fine saddle blankets.
21 “‘“Arabia y todos los príncipes de Cedar eran tus comerciantes favoritos de corderos, carneros y cabras. En estos, eran tus comerciantes.
Arabia and all the chiefs of Kedar were traders with you; they provided you with lambs, rams and goats.
22 “‘“Los comerciantes de Saba y Raamah eran tus comerciantes. Comerciaban por tus mercancías con lo mejor de todas las especias, todas las piedras preciosas y el oro.
The traders of Sheba and Raamah came to sell you the best of every spice and in all kinds of precious gems; they traded gold for your merchandise.
23 “‘“Harán, Canneh, Edén, los comerciantes de Sabá, Asur y Chilmad, eran tus comerciantes.
Haran, Kanneh, and Eden were traders with you, along with Sheba, Ashur, and Kilmad.
24 Estos eran tus comerciantes en mercancías selectas, en envoltorios de azul y bordados, y en cofres de cedro de ricas ropas atadas con cuerdas, entre tus mercancías.
These were your dealers in ornate robes of violet cloths with woven colors, and in blankets of multicolored, embroidered, and well-woven cloth in your marketplaces.
25 “‘“Los barcos de Tarsis eran tus caravanas para tus mercancías. Te reabasteciste y hecho muy glorioso en el corazón de los mares.
The ships of Tarshish were the transporters of your merchandise! So you were filled up, heavily laden with cargo in the heart of the seas!
26 Tus remeros te han llevado a grandes aguas. El viento del este te ha roto en el corazón de los mares.
Your rowers have brought you into vast seas; the eastern wind has broken you in the middle of them.
27 Tus riquezas, tus mercancías, tu mercadería, sus marineros, sus pilotos, sus reparadores de costuras de barcos, los distribuidores de su mercancía, y todos tus hombres de guerra que están en ti, con toda la compañía que hay entre vosotros, caerá en el corazón de los mares en el día de tu ruina.
Your wealth, merchandise, and trade goods; your sailors and pilots, and ship builders; your traders of merchandise and all the men of war who are in you, and all your crew—they will sink into the depths of the sea on the day of your destruction.
28 Al sonido del grito de tus pilotos, las tierras de pastoreo temblarán.
Cities at the sea will tremble at the sound of your pilots' cry;
29 Todos los que manejan los remos, los marineros y todos los pilotos del mar, bajarán de sus barcos. Se pararán en la tierra,
All those who handle oars will come down from their ships; mariners and all the pilots on the sea will stand on the land.
30 y hará que su voz se escuche sobre ti, y llorará amargamente. Levantarán polvo sobre sus cabezas. Se revolcarán en las cenizas.
Then they will make you listen to their voice and will wail bitterly; they will cast dust up on their heads. They will roll about in ashes.
31 Se quedarán calvos por ti, y se visten de saco. Llorarán por ti con amargura de alma, con amargo luto.
They will shave their heads bald for you and bind themselves with sackcloth, and they will weep bitterly over you and they will cry out.
32 En sus lamentos se lamentarán por ti, y se lamentan por ti, diciendo, ‘¿Quién hay como Tiro, como la que es llevada al silencio en medio del mar”.
They will lift up their wails of lamentation for you and sing dirges over you, Who is like Tyre, who has now been brought to silence in the middle of the sea?
33 Cuando sus mercancías vinieron de los mares, llenasteis muchos pueblos. Has enriquecido a los reyes de la tierra con la multitud de tus riquezas y de tus mercancías.
When your merchandise went ashore from the sea, it satisfied many peoples; you enriched the kings of the earth with your great wealth and merchandise!
34 En el tiempo en que fuiste quebrado por los mares, en las profundidades de las aguas, su mercancía y toda su empresa cayó dentro de usted.
But when you were shattered by the seas, by deep waters, your merchandise and all your crew sank!
35 Todos los habitantes de las islas se asombran de ti, y sus reyes están terriblemente asustados. Tienen problemas en la cara.
All the inhabitants of the coasts were appalled at you, and their kings shuddered in horror! Their faces trembled!
36 Los mercaderes de los pueblos te silban. Has llegado a un final terrible, y ya no serás más””.
The merchants of the people hiss at you; you have become a horror, and you will be no more forever.”
