1 Markaasaa Soofar oo ahaa reer Nacamaatii u jawaabay, oo wuxuu yidhi,
Then Zophar the Naamathite answered and said,
2 Haddaba waxaa ii jawaaba fikirradayda, Oo sababtu waxay tahay degdegga igu jira.
“My thoughts make me answer quickly because of the worry that is in me.
3 Waxaan maqlay canaanta i ceebaysa, Oo waxaa ii jawaabta waxgarashadayda.
I hear a rebuke that dishonors me, but a spirit from my understanding answers me.
4 Miyaadan ogayn in waayihii hore iyo Tan iyo waagii binu-aadmiga dhulka la saaray
Do you not know this fact from ancient times, when God placed man on earth:
5 Ay guulaysashada sharrowyadu gaaban tahay, Oo farxadda cibaadalaawayaashuna ay daqiiqad qudha tahay?
the triumph of a wicked man is short, and the joy of a godless man lasts only for a moment?
6 In kastoo sarrayntiisu ay samada korto, Oo madaxiisuna uu daruuraha gaadho,
Though his height reaches up to the heavens, and his head reaches to the clouds,
7 Wuxuu weligiis u baabbi'i doonaa sida saxaradiisa oo kale. Oo kuwii isaga arki jiray waxay odhan doonaan, War meeh isagii?
yet such a person will perish permanently like his own feces; those who have seen him will say, 'Where is he?'
8 Sida riyo ayuu u libdhi doonaa, oo lama heli doono, Hubaal waxaa loo eryi doonaa sida riyada habeenka.
He will fly away like a dream and will not be found; indeed, he will be chased away like a vision of the night.
9 Ishii isaga aragtay mar dambe ma ay arki doonto, Oo meeshiisiina mar dambe uma ay jeedi doonto.
The eye that saw him will see him no more; his place will see him no longer.
10 Carruurtiisu waxay wax ka baryi doonaan masaakiinta, Oo gacmahooduna dib bay u celin doonaan maalkiisa.
His children will apologize to poor people; his hands will have to give back his wealth.
11 Lafihiisana waxaa ka buuxa xoogga dhallinyaranimada, Laakiinse ciidda dhexdeeduu la jiifsan doonaa.
His bones are full of youthful strength, but it will lie down with him in the dust.
12 In kastoo xumaantu afkiisa la macaan tahay, In kastoo uu carrabkiisa ku hoos qarsado,
Although wickedness is sweet in his mouth, although he hides it under his tongue,
13 In kastoo uu kaydsado, oo uusan iska sii dayn, Laakiinse uu afkiisa ku sii haysto,
although he holds it there and does not let it go but keeps it still in his mouth—
14 Kolleyba cuntadiisu mindhicirkiisay ku beddelantaa, Oo waxay uurkiisa ku noqataa waabayo jilbis.
the food in his intestines turns bitter; it becomes the poison of asps inside him.
15 Isagu maal buu liqay, laakiinse mar kaluu soo mantagi doonaa, Oo Ilaah baa calooshiisa ka soo saari doona.
He swallows down riches, but he will vomit them up again; God will cast them out of his stomach.
16 Wuxuu nuugi doonaa mariidka jilbisyada, Oo waxaa isaga dili doona mas carrabkiis.
He will suck the poison of asps; the viper's tongue will kill him.
17 Oo ma uu fiirin doono webiyada, Iyo durdurrada la barwaaqaysan malabka iyo subagga.
He will not enjoy the streams, the torrents of honey and butter.
18 Wixii uu ku hawshooday wuu soo celin doonaa, oo ma uu liqi doono, Oo maalka uu faa'iidada u helayna siduu yahay uguma uu farxi doono.
He will give back the fruit of his labor and will not be able to eat it; he will not enjoy the wealth earned by his commerce.
19 Waayo, wuxuu dulmay oo dayriyey masaakiinta, Oo wuxuu xoog ku qaatay guri uusan dhisin.
For he has oppressed and neglected poor people; he has violently taken away houses that he did not build.
20 Uurkiisu xasilloonaan ma lahayn, Taas daraaddeed waxa uu jecel yahay oo dhan waxba kama uu badbaadin doono.
Because he has known no satisfaction himself, he will not be able to save anything in which he takes pleasure.
21 Wuxuu liqay wax ka hadhay lama arkin, Sidaas daraaddeed barwaaqadiisu siima raagi doonto.
There is nothing left that he did not devour; therefore his prosperity will not be permanent.
22 Markuu dheregsan yahay ayuu cidhiidhi dhex geli doonaa, Oo mid kasta oo belaayaysan gacantiisa ayaa ku soo degi doonta.
In the abundance of his wealth he will fall into trouble; the hand of everyone who is in poverty will come against him.
23 Markuu ku dhow yahay inuu calooshiisa buuxsado, Ayaa Ilaah wuxuu ku soo tuuri doonaa kulaylka cadhadiis, Oo wuu ku soo shubi doonaa intuu wax cunayo.
When he is about to fill his stomach, God will throw the fierceness of his wrath on him; God will rain it down on him while he is eating.
24 Wuu ka carari doonaa hubka birta ah, Oo qaansada naxaasta ahu fallaadh bay ka dhex dusin doontaa.
Although that man will flee from the iron weapon, a bow of bronze will shoot him.
25 Wuu soo jiidaa, kolkaasay jidhkiisa ka soo baxdaa, Hubaal caaradda dhalaalaysa ayaa beerkiisa ka soo baxda, Oo cabsi baa isaga ku dhacda.
He pulls it out of his back and the gleaming point comes out of his liver. Terrors come over him.
26 Gudcurka oo dhanna waxaa meel loogu kaydiyey khasnadihiisa; Oo dab aan la afuufin ayaa isaga dhammayn doona, Wuuna baabbi'in doonaa waxa teendhadiisa ku dhex hadhay.
Complete darkness is reserved for his treasures; a fire not fanned will devour him; it will consume what is left in his tent.
27 Samooyinku waxay daaha ka qaadi doonaan xumaantiisa, Oo dhulkuna isaguu ku kici doonaa.
The heavens will reveal his iniquity, and the earth will rise up against him as a witness.
28 Hodanka reerkiisu wuu ka dhammaan doonaa, Oo maalinta cadhada Ilaah ayaa maalkiisu libdhi doonaa.
The wealth of his house will vanish; his goods will flow away on the day of God's wrath.
29 Intaasu waxaa weeye qaybta ninkii shar ahu uu xagga Ilaah ka helayo, Iyo wixii Ilaah dhaxal ahaan ugu amray.
This is the wicked man's portion from God, the heritage reserved for him by God.”
