Psalmi 86
1 Molitev Davidova: Nagni, Gospod, uho svoje; usliši me, ker siromak sem in ubožen.
A prayer of David. Listen, Yahweh, and answer me, for I am poor and oppressed.
2 Reši dušo mojo, ker tisti sem, kateremu deliš milost; reši hlapca svojega, ti Bog moj, ko imam zaupanje v tebe.
Protect me, for I am loyal; my God, save your servant who trusts in you.
3 Milost mi izkaži, Gospod; ker kličem te ves dan.
Be merciful to me, Lord, for I cry out to you all day long.
4 Razveseli dušo svojega hlapca; ker do tebe, Gospod, povzdigujem dušo svojo.
Make your servant glad, for to you, Lord, I lift up my soul.
5 Ti namreč, Gospod, si dober in prizanašaš, in obilen v milosti vsem, ki te kličejo.
You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and you show great mercy to all those who cry out to you.
6 Čuj molitev mojo, Gospod; in poslušaj prošenj mojih glas.
Yahweh, listen to my prayer; hear the sound of my pleas.
7 O času stiske svoje te kličem, ker uslišuješ me.
In the day of my trouble I call on you, for you will answer me.
8 Ni ti enakega med vsemi bogovi, o Gospod; in dél ni tvojim enakih.
There is no one who compares to you among the gods, Lord. There are no deeds like your deeds.
9 Vsi narodi, katerim jih deliš, prihajajočim, klanjajo se pred teboj, in čast dajó tvojemu imenu.
All the nations that you have made will come and bow before you, Lord. They will honor your name.
10 Ker velik si in čudovit, ti sam si Bog.
For you are great and do wonderful things; you only are God.
11 Uči me, Gospod, pot svoj; hodim naj dalje v resnici tvoji; zberi srce moje, da se boji tvojega imena.
Teach me your ways, Yahweh. Then I will walk in your truth. Unite my heart to reverence you.
12 Slavil te bodem, Gospod Bog moj, iz vsega svojega srca; in čestil bodem imé tvoje vekomaj.
Lord my God, I will praise you with my whole heart; I will glorify your name forever.
For great is your covenant faithfulness toward me; you have rescued my life from the depths of Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
14 O Bog, prevzetniki se spenjajo zoper mene, in silovitnikov krdela iščejo življenja mojega, ker te nimajo pred očmi.
God, the arrogant have risen up against me. A gang of violent men seek my life. They have no regard for you.
15 Ti pa, Gospod, Bog mogočni, usmiljen si in milosten; potrpežljiv in obilen v milosti in zvestobi.
But you, Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in covenant faithfulness and trustworthiness.
16 Ozri se v mé, in milost mi stórí; daj moč svojo hlapcu svojemu, in reši dekle svoje sina.
Turn toward me and have mercy on me; give your strength to your servant; save the son of your servant woman.
17 Stóri znamenje nad menoj v dóbro; da naj vidijo sovražniki moji in se sè sramoto oblijó, ko mi bodeš ti, Gospod, pomagal, in potolažil me.
Show me a sign of your favor. Then those who hate me will see it and be put to shame because you, Yahweh, have helped me and comforted me.
