Juda 1
1 Juda, služabnik Jezusa Kristusa in Jakobov brat, tem, ki so posvečeni po Bogu Očetu in ohranjeni v Jezusu Kristusu in poklicani:
Jude, a servant of Jesus (the) Messiah, and brother of James, to those who are called, loved by God the Father, and kept for Jesus (the) Messiah:
2 ›Usmiljenje in mir in ljubezen naj se vam pomnožijo.‹
Mercy to you and peace and love be multiplied.
3 Ljubljeni, ko sem posvetíl vso marljivost, da vam pišem o skupni rešitvi duš, je bilo zame nujno, da vam pišem in vas spodbujam, da se resno borite za vero, ki je bila enkrat [za vselej] izročena svetim.
Beloved, while I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I was constrained to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.
4 Kajti ne-sluteč so se prikradli določeni ljudje, ki so bili že od davno odrejeni za to obsodbo, brezbožni ljudje, ki milost našega Boga sprevračajo v opolzkost in zanikajo edinega Gospoda Boga in našega Gospoda Jezusa Kristusa.
For there are certain people who crept in secretly, even those who were long ago written about for this condemnation: ungodly people, turning the grace of our God into sensuality, and denying our only Master and Lord, Jesus (the) Messiah.
5 Hočem vas torej spomniti, čeprav ste nekoč to vedeli, da je Gospod, ki je ljudi rešil iz egiptovske dežele, potem uničil te, ki niso verovali.
Now I want to remind you, though you already know all these things, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.
6 In angele, ki niso obdržali svojega prvega stanja, temveč so zapustili svoje prebivališče, je ohranil v večnih verigah pod temo, do sodbe vélikega dne. (aïdios g126)
Angels who did not keep their first domain, but deserted their own dwelling place, he has kept in everlasting bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day. (aïdios g126)
7 Celó kakor so Sódoma in Gomóra in na podoben način mesta okoli njiju, ki so same sebe predajala v prešuštvo in hodila za tujim mesom, postavljena kot zgled, trpeč maščevanje večnega ognja. (aiōnios g166)
Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, having, in the same way as these, given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of everlasting fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 Podobno tudi ti umazani sanjači omadežujejo meso, prezirajo gospostvo in hudobno govorijo o dostojanstvih.
Yet in like manner these also in their dreaming defile the flesh, despise authority, and blaspheme the glories.
9 Vendarle si nadangel Mihael, ko se je pričkal s hudičem in prerekal glede Mojzesovega telesa, ni drznil zoper njega udrihati obtožbe, temveč je rekel: »Gospod te ošteje.«
But Michael, the archangel, when contending with the devil and arguing about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him an abusive condemnation, but said, "May the Lord rebuke you."
10 Toda ti govorijo hudobno o teh stvareh, ki jih ne poznajo; toda kar naravno vedo kot brezčutne živali, v teh stvareh sami sebe kvarijo.
But these speak evil of whatever things they do not know. What they understand naturally, like the creatures without reason, they are destroyed in these things.
11 Gorje jim! Kajti odšli so na Kajnovo pot in lakomno tekli za Bileámovo zmoto po nagrado in propadli v Korahovem uporu.
Woe to them. For they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in Korah's rebellion.
12 Ti so madeži na vaših dobrodelnih pojedinah, ko se zabavajo z vami in se hranijo brez strahu. Oblaki so brez vode, ki jih vetrovi nosijo okoli; drevesa, katerih sad vene, brez sadu, dvakrat mrtva, izruvana s koreninami;
These are hidden rocky reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you, shepherds who without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn leaves without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
13 besneči morski valovi, ki se penijo od svoje lastne sramote; blodeče zvezde, ki jim je za vedno prihranjena črna temà. (aiōn g165)
wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever. (aiōn g165)
14 In tudi Henoh, sedmi od Adama, je prerokoval o njih, rekoč: ›Glej, Gospod prihaja z deset tisoči svojih svetih,
About these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, "Look, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones,
15 da izvrši sodbo nad vsemi in da prepriča vse, ki so med njimi brezbožni, o vseh njihovih brezbožnih dejanjih, ki so jih brezbožno zagrešili in o vseh njihovih trdih govorih, ki so jih brezbožni grešniki govorili zoper njega.‹
to execute judgment on all, and to convict every person of all their works of ungodliness which they have done in an ungodly way, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him."
16 To so godrnjači, pritoževalci, ki hodijo za svojimi lastnimi poželenji; in njihova usta govorijo velike napihnjene besede, ker zaradi koristi občudujejo človeško zunanjost.
These are murmurers and complainers, walking after their lusts (and their mouth speaks proud things), showing respect of persons to gain advantage.
17 Toda ljubljeni, spominjajte se besed, ki so vam jih prej govorili apostoli našega Gospoda Jezusa Kristusa,
But you, beloved, remember the words which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus (the) Messiah.
18 kako so vam povedali, da bodo v poslednjem času zasmehovalci, ki naj bi hodili za svojimi lastnimi brezbožnimi poželenji.
They said to you that "In the end time there will be mockers, walking after their own ungodly lusts."
19 Ti so tisti, ki se oddvojijo, čutni, ki nimajo Duha.
These are they who cause divisions, and are sensual, not having the Spirit.
20 Toda vi, ljubljeni, se izgrajujte v svoji najsvetejši veri, moleč v Svetem Duhu,
But you, beloved, keep building yourselves up in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.
21 ohranite se v Božji ljubezni, pričakujte usmiljenje našega Gospoda Jezusa Kristusa, za večno življenje. (aiōnios g166)
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus (the) Messiah to everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
22 In do nekaterih imejte sočutje, s tem da delate razliko;
And be merciful on those who doubt,
23 druge pa rešite s strahom in jih potegnite iz ognja; in sovražite celó obleko, omadeževano z mesom.
and some save, snatching them out of the fire, and on some have mercy with fear; hating even the clothing stained by the flesh.
24 Torej njemu, ki vas je zmožen varovati pred padcem in vas s silno radostjo predstaviti brezhibne pred prisotnost svoje slave,
Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory in great joy,
