Псалтирь 83

1 Песнь псалма Асафу. Боже, кто уподобится Тебе? Не премолчи, ниже укроти, Боже:

A song, a psalm of Asaph. Do not keep silent, O God: hold not your peace, be not still, God.

2 яко се, врази Твои возшумеша, и ненавидящии Тя воздвигоша главу.

For see! Your enemies roar, those who hate you lift up their heads,

3 На люди Твоя лукавноваша волею, и совещаша на святыя Твоя.

laying crafty plans for your people, and plotting against those you treasure.

4 Реша: приидите и потребим я от язык, и не помянется имя Израилево ктому.

‘Come, let us wipe them out as a nation, so Israel’s name will be mentioned no more.’

5 Яко совещаша единомышлением вкупе, на Тя завет завещаша:

For, conspiring with one accord, they have made a league against you

6 селения Идумейска и Исмаилите, Моав и Агаряне,

Tents of Edom, and Ishmaelites, Moab, and the Hagrites.

7 Гевал и Аммон и Амалик, иноплеменницы с живущими в Тире:

Gebal and Ammon and Amalek, Philistia, with the people of Tyre;

8 ибо и Ассур прииде с ними, быша в заступление сыновом Лотовым:

Syria, too, is confederate, they have strengthened the children of Lot. (Selah)

9 сотвори им яко Мадиаму и Сисаре, яко Иавиму в потоце Киссове:

Deal with them as you dealt with Midian, with Sisera, with Jabin, at the torrent of Kishon,

10 потребишася во Аендоре, быша яко гной земный.

who at Endor were destroyed, and became dung for the field.

11 Положи князи их яко Орива и Зива, и Зевеа и Салмана, вся князи их,

Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

12 иже реша: да наследим себе святилище Божие.

who said, ‘Let us take for ourselves the meadows of God.’

13 Боже мой, положи я яко коло, яко трость пред лицем ветра.

Whirl them, my God, like dust, like stubble before the wind.

14 Яко огнь попаляяй дубравы, яко пламень пожигаяй горы:

As the fire that kindles the forest, as flame that sets mountains ablaze,

15 тако поженеши я бурею Твоею, и гневом Твоим смятеши я.

so with your tempest pursue them, terrify them with your hurricane.

16 Исполни лица их безчестия, и взыщут имене Твоего, Господи.

Make them blush with shame; until they seek your name, O Lord.

17 Да постыдятся и смятутся в век века, и посрамятся и погибнут.

Everlasting shame and confusion, disgrace and destruction be theirs.

18 И да познают, яко имя Тебе Господь, Ты един Вышний по всей земли.

Teach those who you alone are most high over all the earth.
