Псалтирь 57
1 В конец, да не растлиши, Давиду в столпописание, внегда ему отбегати от лица Саулова в пещеру. Помилуй мя, Боже, помилуй мя: яко на Тя упова душа моя, и на сень крилу Твоею надеюся, дондеже прейдет беззаконие.
For the leader. Al tashheth. A michtam of David, when he fled from Saul into a cave. Be gracious, O God, be gracious to me, for in you I take shelter. In your sheltering wings I take refuge, till ruin be over past.
2 Воззову к Богу Вышнему, Богу благодеявшему мне.
I cry to the Most High God, to the God who accomplishes for me.
3 Посла с небесе и спасе мя, даде в поношение попирающыя мя: посла Бог милость Свою и истину Свою,
He will send me his succour from heaven, he will thrust away those who would trample me. (Selah)
4 и избави душу мою от среды скимнов. Поспах смущен: сынове человечестии, зубы их оружия и стрелы, и язык их мечь остр.
In the midst of lions I lie, who devour human prey. Their teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue is a sharpened sword.
5 Вознесися на небеса, Боже, и по всей земли слава Твоя.
Be exalted, God, o’er the heavens, and your glory o’er all the earth.
6 Сеть уготоваша ногам моим, и слякоша душу мою: ископаша пред лицем моим яму, и впадоша в ню.
They set a net for my feet, but in it was their own foot caught. Before me they dug a pit, but they fell into it themselves. (Selah)
7 Готово сердце мое, Боже, готово сердце мое: воспою и пою во славе моей.
My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast. I would sing, I would make music;
8 Востани, слава моя, востани, псалтирю и гусли: востану рано.
awake, my soul. Awake, harp and lyre; I would wake the dawn.
9 Исповемся Тебе в людех, Господи, воспою Тебе во языцех:
I would praise you among the peoples, O Lord, and make music among the nations to you;
10 яко возвеличися до небес милость Твоя и даже до облак истина Твоя.
for great to heaven is your love, and your faithfulness to the clouds.
11 Вознесися на небеса, Боже, и по всей земли слава Твоя.
Be exalted, God, o’er the heavens, and your glory o’er all the earth.
