Книга пророка Исаии 3
1 Се, Владыка Господь Саваоф отимет от Иерусалима и от Иудеи крепкаго и крепкую, крепость хлеба и крепость воды,
For lo! the Lord, Yahweh of hosts, removing from Jerusalem and from Judah, The stay and staff, —The whole stay of bread, And the whole stay of water:
2 исполина и крепкаго, и человека ратника и судию, и пророка и смотреливаго, и старца
Man of might and man of war, —Judge and prophet And diviner and elder;
3 и пятьдесятоначалника, и дивнаго советника и премудраго архитектона и разумнаго послушателя.
Captain of fifty, and favourite; And counsellor and skilled artificer, And master of magical formulas;
4 И поставлю юношы князи их, и ругателие господствовати будут ими.
And I will appoint boys to be their princes, —And, petulant children, shall rule over them,
5 И нападати имут людие, и человек на человека, и человек на ближняго своего: приразится отроча к старцу, и безчестный к честному.
And the people will, tyrannise, Every man over his fellow-man, And every man over his friend, —And they will rage The boy against, the elder, And the despised, against, the honourable,
6 Яко имется человек брата своего, или домашняго отца своего, глаголя: ризу имаши, началовождь нам буди, и брашно мое под тобою да будет.
When a man shall lay hold, on his brother of the house of his father, [saying] —Clothing, hast thou, Become thou our, ruler, This downfall, be under thy hand,
7 И отвещав в день оный речет: не буду твой началовождь, несть бо в дому моем ни хлеба, ни ризы: не буду началовождь людем сим.
He will swear, in that day, saying—I will take no control, When in mine own house, is neither food nor clothing, —Ye must not set me for a ruler of people!
8 Яко оставлен бысть Иерусалим, и Иудеа паде, и язык их со беззаконием, не покаряющься Господеви.
For stumbled hath Jerusalem, and, Judah, hath fallen, —Because, their tongue and their doings, are against Yahweh, Provoking his glorious presence,
9 Сего ради ныне смирися слава их, и студ лица их противу ста им: грех же свой яко Содомский возвестиша и явиша. Горе души их, зане умыслиша совет лукавый на себе самих,
The show of their face, hath answered against them, And their sin—like Sodom, have they told, they have not concealed it. Alas for their souls! For they have requited to themselves, calamity.
10 рекше: свяжем праведнаго, яко непотребен нам есть. Убо плоды дел своих снедят.
Say ye to the righteous It is well! For the fruit of their doings, shall they eat:
11 Горе беззаконному: лукавая бо приключатся ему по делом руку его.
Alas! for the lawless, it is ill, For what his own hand hath matured, shall be done to him.
12 Людие Мои, приставницы ваши пожинают вас, и истязающии обладают вами: людие Мои, блажащии вас льстят вы и стези ног ваших возмущают.
My people! children, are their tyrants, And, women, rule over them, —My people! they who should lead thee forward, are causing thee to stray, Thy pathways, have they destroyed,
13 Но ныне устроится Господь на суд и поставит на суд люди Своя:
Yahweh hath taken his station to plead, —And is standing to judge peoples:
14 Сам Господь на суд приидет со старейшины людий и со князи их. Вы же почто запалисте виноград Мой, и разграбление убогаго в домех ваших?
Yahweh, into judgment, will enter, With the elders of his people And their princes, —But ye, have consumed the vineyard, That which hath been robbed from the oppressed, is in your houses.
15 Почто вы обидите людий Моих и лице убогих посрамляете? Глаголет Господь Саваоф.
What right have ye to crush my people, And the faces of the oppressed, to grind? Demandeth My Lord Yahweh of hosts—And Yahweh saith—
16 Сия глаголет Господь: понеже вознесошася дщери Сиони и ходиша высокою выею и помизанием очес и ступанием ног, купно ризы влекущыя (по долу) и ногама купно играющыя:
Because haughty are the daughters of Zion, And they walk with neck thrown back, and wanton eyes, —Tripping along as they go, And with their feet, making, a tinkling sound,
17 и смирит Господь началныя дщери Сиони, и Господь открыет срамоту их.
Therefore will My Lord, smite with leprosy the crown of hair of the daughters of Zion, —And, as for Yahweh, their shame, will he lay bare!
18 В день он, и отимет Господь славу риз их и красоты их, и вплетения златая (на главе) и тресны ризныя, и луницы гривенныя
In that day, will My Lord remove the finery—of the anklets, and the little suns and the little moons;
19 и срачицы тонкия, и красоту лица их и состроение красы славныя,
the pendants and the bracelets and the veils;
20 и обручи и перстни, и мониста и запястия и художныя усерязи,
the chaplets and the armlets and the girdles, and the scent-cases, and the amulets;
21 и багряницы и пребагряная, и утварь храмную
the rings and the nose-jewels;
22 и светлая лаконская, и виссоны и синеты, и червленицы
the robes, and the over-tunics, and the cloaks and the purses;
23 и виссон со златом и синетою претыканы, и тончицы преиманы златом:
and the mirrors and the linen wraps, and the tiaras and the cloaks.
24 и будет вместо вони добрыя смрад, и вместо пояса ужем препояшешися, и вместо украшения златаго, еже на главе, плешь имети будеши дел твоих ради, и вместо ризы багряныя препояшешися вретищем:
And it shall come to pass—That instead of fragrance, a putrid odour, shall be, And instead of a girdle, an encircling rope, And instead of braided hair, baldness, And instead of a festal robe, a girding of sackcloth, Branding instead of beauty:
25 и сын твой добрейший, егоже любиши, мечем падет, и крепцыи ваши мечем падут и смирятся:
Thy males, by the sword shall fall, —And, thy mighty men, by the war;
26 и восплачутся хранилища утварей ваших, и останешися едина и о землю ударена будеши.
And her gates shall mourn and lament, —And forsaken, on the ground, shall she sit.
