Послание к Ефесянам 2
1 И вас сущих прегрешеньми мертвых и грехи вашими,
And you has he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2 в нихже иногда ходисте по веку мира сего, по князю власти воздушныя, духа, иже ныне действует в сынех противления, (aiōn g165)
Wherein in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience: (aiōn g165)
3 в нихже и мы вси жихом иногда в похотех плоти нашея, творяще волю плоти и помышлений, и бехом естеством чада гнева, якоже и прочии:
Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4 Бог же, богат сый в милости, за премногую любовь Свою, еюже возлюби нас,
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,
5 и сущих нас мертвых прегрешеньми, сооживи Христом: благодатию есте спасени:
Even when we were dead in sins, has quickened us together with Christ, (by grace you are saved; )
6 и с Ним воскреси, и спосади на небесных во Христе Иисусе,
And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 да явит в вецех грядущих презелное богатство благодати Своея благостынею на нас о Христе Иисусе. (aiōn g165)
That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. (aiōn g165)
8 Благодатию бо есте спасени чрез веру: и сие не от вас, Божии дар:
For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 не от дел, да никтоже похвалится.
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 Того бо есмы творение, создани во Христе Иисусе на дела благая, яже прежде уготова Бог, да в них ходим.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.
11 Темже поминайте, яко вы, иже иногда языцы во плоти, глаголемии необрезание от рекомаго обрезания во плоти, рукотвореннаго,
Why remember, that you being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
12 яко бесте во время оно без Христа, отчуждени жития Израилева и чужди от завет обетования, упования не имуще и безбожни в мире:
That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
13 ныне же о Христе Иисусе вы, бывшии иногда далече, близ бысте Кровию Христовою.
But now in Christ Jesus you who sometimes were far off are made near by the blood of Christ.
14 Той бо есть мир наш, сотворивый обоя едино, и средостение ограды разоривый,
For he is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
15 вражду Плотию Своею, закон заповедий ученьми упразднив, да оба созиждет Собою во единаго новаго человека, творя мир,
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of two one new man, so making peace;
16 и примирит обоих во единем теле Богови крестом, убив вражду на нем:
And that he might reconcile both to God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17 и пришед благовести мир вам, дальним и ближним,
And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were near.
18 зане Тем имамы приведение обои во единем Дусе ко Отцу.
For through him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
19 Темже убо ктому несте странни и пришелцы, но сожителе святым и приснии Богу,
Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 наздани бывше на основании Апостол и пророк, сущу краеугольну Самому Иисусу Христу,
And are built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 о немже всяко создание составляемо растет в церковь святую о Господе:
In whom all the building fitly framed together grows to an holy temple in the Lord:
22 о немже и вы созидаетеся в жилище Божие Духом.
In whom you also are built together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
