Второе послание к Тимофею 3

1 Сие же веждь, яко в последния дни настанут времена люта.

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 Будут бо человецы самолюбцы, сребролюбцы, величави, горди, хулницы, родителем противящиися, неблагодарни, неправедни, нелюбовни,

For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 непримирителни, (продерзиви, возносливи, прелагатае, ) клеветницы, невоздержницы, некротцы, неблаголюбцы,

Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 предателе, нагли, напыщени, сластолюбцы паче нежели боголюбцы,

Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 имущии образ благочестия, силы же его отвергшиися. И сих отвращайся.

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

6 От сих бо суть поныряющии в домы и пленяющии женишца отягощенныя грехами, водимыя похотьми различными,

For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

7 всегда учащяся и николиже в разум истины приити могущыя.

Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

8 Якоже Ианний и Иамврий противистася Моисею, такожде и сии противляются истине, человецы растленни умом (и) неискусни о вере.

Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

9 Но не преуспеют более: безумие бо их явлено будет всем, якоже и онех бысть.

But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest to all men, as theirs also was.

10 Ты же последовал еси моему учению, житию, привету, вере, долготерпению, любви, терпению,

But you have fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, long-suffering, charity, patience,

11 изгнанием, страданием, якова ми быша во Антиохии, (и) во Иконии, (и) в Листрех: якова изгнания приях, и от всех мя избавил есть Господь.

Persecutions, afflictions, which came to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.

12 И вси же хотящии благочестно жити о Христе Иисусе, гоними будут:

Yes, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

13 лукавии же человецы и чародее преупеют на горшее, прельщающе и прельщаеми.

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

14 Ты же пребывай в нихже научен еси и яже вверена суть тебе, ведый, от кого научился еси:

But continue you in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom you have learned them;

15 и яко измлада священная писания умееши, могущая тя умудрити во спасение верою, яже о Христе Иисусе.

And that from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 Всяко Писание богодухновенно и полезно (есть) ко учению, ко обличению, ко исправлению, к наказанию еже в правде,

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 да совершен будет Божий человек, на всякое дело благое уготован.

That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished to all good works.
