1 Pisarema raDhavhidhi. Ndichakurumbidzai, imi Jehovha, nomwoyo wangu wose; ndichaimba nziyo dzokukurumbidzai pamberi pa“vamwari.”

[By David.] I will give you thanks, YHWH, with my whole heart. Before the gods I will sing praises to you.

2 Ndichakotamira pasi ndakatarisa kutemberi yenyu tsvene, uye ndicharumbidza zita renyu nokuda kworudo rwenyu nokutendeka kwenyu, nokuti makakudza zita renyu neshoko renyu pamusoro pezvinhu zvose.

I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your Name for your loving kindness and for your truth; for you have exalted your Name and your word above all.

3 Pandakadana, imi makandipindura; makandishingisa nomwoyo wakasimba.

In the day that I called, you answered me. You encouraged me with strength in my soul.

4 Madzimambo ose enyika ngaakurumbidzei, imi Jehovha, pavanonzwa mashoko omuromo wenyu.

All the kings of the earth will give you thanks, YHWH, for they have heard the words of your mouth.

5 Ngavaimbe pamusoro penzira dzaJehovha, nokuti kubwinya kwaJehovha kukuru.

Yes, they will sing of the ways of YHWH; for great is YHWH's glory.

6 Kunyange Jehovha ari kumusoro, anoona vanozvininipisa, asi vanozvikudza anovaziva vari kure.

For though YHWH is high, yet he looks after the lowly; but the proud, he knows from afar.

7 Kunyange ndikafamba pakati penhamo, munochengetedza upenyu hwangu; munotambanudza ruoko rwenyu pamusoro pehasha dzavavengi vangu, munondiponesa noruoko rwenyu rworudyi.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me. You will stretch forth your hand against the wrath of my enemies. Your right hand will save me.

8 Jehovha achazadzisa zvirongwa zvake neni; rudo rwenyu, imi Jehovha, runogara nokusingaperi, musasiya mabasa amaoko enyu.

YHWH will fulfill that which concerns me; your loving kindness, YHWH, endures forever. Do not forsake the works of your own hands.
