2 Мојсијева 17
1 И подиже се из пустиње Сина сав збор синова Израиљевих путем својим по заповести Господњој, и стадоше у логор у Рафидину; а онде не беше воде да народ пије.
Therfor al the multitude of the sones of Israel yede forth fro the deseert of Syn, bi her dwellyngis, bi the word of the Lord, and settiden tentis in Rafidym, where was not watir to the puple to drynke.
2 И народ се свађаше с Мојсијем говорећи: Дај нам воде да пијемо. А он им рече: Што се свађате са мном? Што кушате Господа?
Whiche puple chidde ayens Moises, and seide, Yyue thou water to vs, that we drynke. To whiche Moises answeride, What chiden ye ayens me, and whi tempten ye the Lord?
3 Али народ беше онде жедан воде, те викаше народ на Мојсија, и говораше: Зашто си нас извео из Мисира да нас и синове наше и стоку нашу помориш жеђу?
Therfor the puple thristide there for the scarsnesse of watir, and grutchiden ayens Moises, and seide, Whi madist thou vs to go out of Egipt, to sle vs, and oure fre children, and beestis, for thrist?
4 А Мојсије завапи ка Господу говорећи: Шта ћу чинити с овим народом? Још мало па ће ме засути камењем.
Forsothe Moises criede to the Lord, and seide, What schal Y do to this puple? yit a litil, also it schal stone me.
5 А Господ рече Мојсију: Прођи пред народ, и узми са собом старешине израиљске, и штап свој којим си ударио воду узми у руку своју, и иди.
The Lord seide to Moises, Go thou bifore the puple, and take with thee of the eldre men of Israel, and take in thin hond the yerde, `bi which thou hast smyte the flood, and go; lo!
6 А ја ћу стајати пред тобом онде на стени на Хориву; а ти удари у стену, и потећи ће из ње вода да пије народ. И учини Мојсије тако пред старешинама израиљским.
Y schal stonde there before thee, aboue the stoon of Oreb, and thou schalt smyte the stoon, and water schal go out therof, that the puple drynke. Moises dide so byfore the eldere men of Israel;
7 А место оно прозва Маса и Мерива зато што се свађаше синови Израиљеви и што кушаше Господа говорећи: Је ли Господ међу нама или није?
and he clepide the name of that place Temptacioun, for the chidyng of the sones of Israel, and for thei temptiden the Lord, and seiden, Whether the Lord is in vs, ether nay?
8 Али дође Амалик да се бије с Израиљем у Рафидину.
Forsothe Amalech cam, and fauyt ayens Israel in Rafidym.
9 А Мојсије рече Исусу: Избери нам људе, те изађи и биј се с Амаликом; а ја ћу сутра стати на врх брда са штапом Божјим у руци.
And Moises seide to Josue, Chese thou men, and go out, and fiyte to morewe ayens men of Amalech; lo! Y schal stonde in the cop of the hil, and Y schal haue `the yerde of God in myn hond.
10 И учини Исус како му рече Мојсије, и поби се с Амаликом; а Мојсије и Арон и Ор изађоше на врх брда.
Josue dide as Moises spak, and fauyt ayens Amalech. Forsothe Moises, and Aaron, and Hur stieden on the cop of the hil;
11 И докле Мојсије држаше у вис руке своје, побеђиваху Израиљци, а како би спустио руке, одмах надвлађиваху Амаличани.
and whanne Moises reiside the hondis, Israel ouercam; forsothe if he let down a litil, Amalech ouercam.
12 Али руке Мојсију отежаше, зато узеше камен и подметнуше пода њ, те седе; а Арон и Ор држаху му руке један с једне стране а други с друге, и не клонуше му руке до захода сунчаног.
Sotheli `the hondis of Moises weren heuy, therfor thei token a stoon, and puttide vndir hym, in which stoon he sat. Forsothe Aaron and Hur susteyneden hise hondis, on euer eithir side; and it was don, that hise hondis weren not maad weri, til to the goyng down of the sunne.
13 И разби Исус Амалика и народ његов оштрим мачем.
And Josue droof a wey Amalech and his puple, in `the mouth of swerd, that is, bi the scharpnesse of the swerd.
14 Потом рече Господ Мојсију: Запиши то за спомен у књигу, и кажи Исусу нека памти да ћу сасвим истребити спомен Амаликов испод неба.
Forsothe the Lord seide to Moises, Wryte thou this in a book, for mynde, and take in the eeris of Josue; for Y schal do a wei the mynde of Amalech fro vndur heuene.
15 Тада начини Мојсије олтар, и назва га: Господ, застава моја.
And Moises bildide an auter, and clepide the name therof The Lord myn enhaunsere,
16 И рече: Што се рука беше подигла на престо Господњи, Господ ће ратовати на Амалика од колена до колена.
and seide, For the hond of the Lord aloone, and the bateil of God schal be ayens Amalech, fro generacioun in to generacioun.
